For Those Who Don’t Know Me: Jacque is a people pleaser. He’ll do just about anything for anyone, even if they’ve done him wrong. He’s also a natural leader.. although he’d rather be a team member most times, being the team lead isn’t that difficult for him to become. Jacque has quite the temper on him though. Rub him the wrong way too far and you’ll catch a glimpse of ‘Jacque the Ripper’. He’s got, what seems like a quiet and reclusive demeanor at first, but really he just likes to stay quiet and watch everything from afar. Least, wealthy for the Districts. Nothing like what kids in the Capital get to grow up with.. I had my parents for all of 10 ½ years before they were taken from me. I raised my brother up nearly since the day he was born. After he was born, it hadn’t been long since my dad had been mauled by the same timber wolf that attacked me that my mother resorted to drinking. One day, she was drinking during the day while she was cooking lunch for herself and I.. she passed out drunk, and left the stove on. Whatever had been cooking in the stove that morning was burnt to a crisp and had eventually caught fire, spreading throughout the house. At the time, I had been down the road a ways playing with some fellow District kids when I saw the smoke rising from the direction my house was in. I ran as fast as I could to my home and ran inside without a second thought. To no avail, I couldn’t locate my mother but found my brother almost immediately due to his crying out from his nursery room. I got out of there as soon as I could, but not unscathed. I helped haul wood, transferring planks and logs from one pile to the next. I spent the next 4 years doing that until I turned 15 and got myself an actual Lumbering job. As for the games in those years where I was posted up at the reaping, and even before, I never liked watching the games.. and never had a fear of getting chosen. Surprised more often than not. Had my name in there so many times each year. This year was just unavoidable. Didn’t matter how many times my name was in that pot. I volunteered for that Willom boy I used to pal around with when we were youngins, and even then some. He was a couple years younger than me, but he got me better than the rest.. he had a major accident on the yard on his first day lumberin’ and busted himself up real good. Willom couldn’t walk right since that day.. I volunteered for him, because I knew I’d at least have a slight chance at winning, whereas he did not. @Altered Tundra *hard gasp* .....YOU STOLE MY GIRL!!! D: I have been working at my new job for the last two weeks now and am starting another one tomorrow. The one I've been at, I hate it. I wanna quit. I'm really thinking on it. The new job I'll be starting, the GM really wants me to work for them. She and I are both equally excited for me to join. She likes my previous work history and thinks I'll be a good fit for the crew! ^^ Wendy's has just been stressing me the hell out. I have had this friggin' eye twitch for the last week and a half since I started the dang job.. I'm a cashier, there. Normally I'd be the one making people's food. I had fun working at Panera Bread, when I was working there. I think I'll enjoy working at Five Guys Burgers, just the same. :)
