Pack of Vandrow (Remake and open for players)

Shadow lay on top of the den opening with her head laying across her paws, eyes actively scanning the surrounding forest. The clearing still had small patches of snow which were still in a process of melting away, leaving room for the new grass to sprout through the ground and bring a happier season. The winter had been a harsh one for the wolves, and undoubtedly for the miscreant tigers as well. Shadow knew it was getting close to another feeding and they would have to go out on a hunt again, hoping in her mind that there was enough prey in the areas that wolf nor tiger would need to cross into opposing territories just to snag a meal. Ears perked, one facing north of her and the other slightly folded behind her, hearing the pair of pups back inside the den rustling around. Shadow grinned to herself, thinking of the hope she had for herself to maybe have some pups of her own this coming season.
Kai♂
At the edge of the territory near the spring that ran through both wolf and tiger country alike, Kai sat in the damp sands just staring up at the sky. A soft breeze twisted through his dark fur as he closed his eyes and allowed himself to be lost in the moment. Suddenly, Kai hears a snap from just behind him and whirls around with teeth bared and fur bristled along his spine. Aleu. Kai's stance straightens and his bared teeth lose their fierceness, turning into a wolfish grin. "Aleu, you can't be doing that. It's not safe for a little wolf like you wandering around out here, alone." Kai wanders over to her and nudges her shoulder, turning her into the direction of the den.
Aleu♀
Aleu managed to sneak up on Kai, but purposefully stepped right in the center of a small branch just to get a scare out of him. Kai was one of Aleu's only friends who didn't try taking advantage of the small fragile she-wolf, and she quite enjoyed his company most days. Aleu shook her head and turned with him as he nudged her, following his steps, putting them almost in sync as they padded along towards the den. "Trust me, if I wanted to sneak up on you, I would have done so with ease. Smaller things tend to be better at stealth than big, bulky animals such as yourself." Aleu laughs when Kai nudges her shoulder a bit roughly, adding, "The pups should be up, soon, if they aren't already. Gotta get back before one of them.." Aleu meets Kai's gaze and they both say simultaneously, "Anum!", smiling as she continues, "..gets into trouble. Then I'll be in trouble." Without giving a warning, Kai takes off towards the den and calls over his shoulder, "Last one there has to eat the rear of the morning's kill!" while howling with laughter. Aleu, taking off in pursuit after the beast, knowing all too well that this wasn't a fair fight. She'd easily beat him. Her small frame allowed her to be quite fast. The fastest in the pack, in fact.
Desaius♂
Desaius lay in his own den, his nose barely picking up the feint scent of his lost mate. She'd been taken by the winter's harsh conditions, and left Desaius with nothing but an empty den and a broken heart. Desaius slowly picked himself up off the dirt floor of the den, wincing at his left side as a fierce pain travels across his body. Baring his teeth, Desaius shakes off the dirt from his pelt and slowly limps his way out from the den's cover, walking out into the cool morning air. Immediately, Desaius could smell Shadow and he looked all around before stomping out a few feet to look ontop of the den's opening to spot her. "Get down from there! Ain't need to be up there, y'er just showin' off." Shadow just flatly stared at Desaius with her ears flattened, but slowly slunk off the side of the opening and onto the ground beside it, sitting down with a soft huff. Desaius flattened his ears and stared at her for a few more seconds before wandering to the edge of the clearing, laying down near a tree where he usually lay in the mornings to wait for the Alphas to make their appearances.

Actually, I was quite surprised (as GM) that you yourself didn't take up the position! So used to the RP GM's being Alpha xD Weird (but not in a bad way!) to see one give it up. Makes things interesting, honestly!

Any way I could change or add Shadow in as Beta or Omega? Don't wanna ask for Alpha. I'd personally feel out of place being the Alpha of someone's RP xD but I think Beta or Omega would be nice. She could still be a hunter, as well, if that's cool. :)

"Hunter, but I could have easily been an Omega because I've always been well known for keeping the peace, but never really wanted to be apart of the higher ranks. Too much pressure, it seems. I also enjoy a good hunt, though. Kai, of course, had to become a Hunter just to ensure he'd be able to join me in the adventures. He and I are quite the team, though. I'll give him that. For being the runt, he sure grew into himself and became one exceptional hunter. Not better than me, though. I'm the one who taught him how to hunt proper."

Personality

"I'm a peace-keeper, but I am one hell of a fighter. I'll fight to defend those I love and have come to call my brothers and sisters of Pack Vandrow. I do not desire a specific rank, but advancing is always a good thing, no?My place is here, with my family. My pack. I tend to like to wander, though I don't venture far enough to get myself into trouble. 'Quite the little adventurer', my mother used to say."

"Kind of an a**hole, but I'm a lovable a**hole. Real jokester and a definite lady's wolf! I tend to keep out of pack politics and leave that to my sis. She has her business, and I have mine. Every now and again I'll pester her the way I used to when we were pups. I act somewhat of a pup still, but can be mature when I need to. My loyalty and love for my pack are neverending. Infinite. I'd do anything, even die for my pack."

Personality

Aggressive towards most and intolerant of the younger wolves, Desaius tends to stay away from the pack more often than not. Desaius was a sympathy take-in by the Alpha years ago when Desaius was just a pup. Only weeks old. The Vandrow Pack overthrew his old pack who attempted to take over the Vandrow territory and lost. He acquired several injuries during the scuff that had started in Vandrow territory and ended in the rival's, Desaius was left nearly dead. The old Alpha took in Desaius and grew to love him, raising him as their own. Desaius, now very aware that this pack was never his and his family had been taken out by Vandrow, holds a serious grudge over them all but does nothing because he knows if he went Rogue at his age, he wouldn't survive very long on his own. Another of his resentments is the fact he was, in a sense, the Alphas' son, and never acquired the rank once he came of age. Desaius is a dangerous wolf. A serious anger problem and the retired Protector of the pack, he knows how to fight and when he does he fights hard. Regardless of past injuries he feels now and again. His old wounds. The pain. They fuel his hate-fire.

Pup Protector/Watcher. Pup Nanny, I guess you could say.

Personality

Aleu is a real sweetheart. Tender and loving, she's kind of a recluse. She stays with the pups while the rest of the pack is gone on their hunt. When there are no pups to watch, Aleu spends her time by the edge of their territory at the lake, attempting to sniff out any rogue males roaming at the edge of their territory in search of mates. Aleu yearns to be loved. Soft-spoken Aleu cowers under anyone's shadow, and tends to avoid confrontation.

Other

Robyn is Aleu's sister. The more dominant between two Faes, since Robyn took up Patrol and Aleu is but a simple sitter to the pack pups. Aleu is 3/4ths Robyn's size. Sadly, Aleu being the runt of their litter.

Wolf pack rp

Might be interested. Really tired of making RPs, getting a good group together, just for everyone to simultaneously disappear but still be posting elsewhere on the Guild. Hoping that a decent RP will give me the will to want to even continue logging back into the site anymore. My will to RP anymore has gone down slim to none.
