Do not let loneliness make you forget your chains. Allowing someone back into your life who disrespected you is a disrespect to the old you who suffered.. remember that.

I hope when Death finally comes that it feels like it used to when dad used to carry me inside after falling asleep in the truck.

If the gods didn't want me to commit fatherless behavior, they should have given my mother better taste in men.

Had another issue pop up. I fixed it for now, but I neglected to keep track of time while out tonight trying to keep my mind off of what happened and it's now 230AM that I'm finally home. Didn't wanna just not say anything, so here I am. I will be waking up early (9AM is early, in my opinion..especially without coffee.) so when I get over to my family's house, I will get on and make a response. I managed to read the previous posts, though. So when I am able to log in tomorrow morning, I can immediately respond. Should be on by roughly 1030AM PST. Sorry, loves. I just gotta get some sleep so I can actually wake up tomorrow.. Night </3

*** EDIT ***

10:58AM

Okay, I'm online. Gonna start writing out my post. May take a bit, but it'll be up. Gotta get in the zone lol
*slowly pulls door open, peering in before carefully stepping inside, shutting it behind me without a sound, glancing around at everyone in the room for a sec before speaking up hesitantly* uhh.. hi, guys... >-<

Back and ready for action... GhostWing was already informed about my absence the other day, but I wanna formally apologize to the group for disappearing. Had a lot of personal things happen, I kinda just..broke, and had to take a break from everything for mental health reasons. Been way too stressed lately and I'm just going through it right now. I'll be getting on later tonight to read up on what I've missed and post, as well. I'm posting from my phone right now, just got off work.. but I will be back on tonight for a post. Again, I'm terribly sorry, everyone. Hope y'all are doing well!

@Filthy Mudblood Haha, I love your username xD Even though it's quite offensive, I must say ._. lol

Yay! Now there's three of us, so far. :3

@DreadPirate Sweetness! :)
@DreadPirate Sorry it took this long to post back in here and see your post. Still interested in this type of RP?

Bloop!
Shadow
Watching the two males as one attempted to calm the other, Shadow heard a familiar clack! ahead and suddenly Chincf's voice drowned out and there was nothing but the sound ahead. Shadow padded forward with her nose near the earth and could smell the heavy scent of... goat. Her mouth suddenly began to water with the thought of tearing into it's hindquarters, taking off into the bush at a full sprint towards the mountainside. Shadow knew the boys were off after a rabbit, but also knew a small mountain goat wouldn't be too much to handle on her own, she just had to be careful when maneuvering around on the rocks.

Aleu
Aleu smiled at Anum's excitement and turned her attention to Kita, tilting her head a little to the side. "By helping your packmates track it down. Smell out the prey. For now, I can do the hunting. You girls can help me track it." Getting up from her bow position, Aleu walks over to a spot near the water and scratches at the earth. "Start here. The scent is quite strong. I want to see how you can use your noses."

Kai
As Lila began to speak of the attack that had gone down this past winter where the rogue tiger had mauled members of Vandrow Kai's ears flattened and he slowly sunk down to his stomach. Kai could remember the whole thing as if it were yesterday.

Desaius
Desaius turned to look at the fae for a moment before looking back towards the ground to close his eyes in attempts to hide the hurt in his eyes. Slowly, Desaius spoke, "I know what we've lost, and I know what they have lost. I'm not so much worried about this small family passing through as much as I'm worried for the safety of wolves such as yourself. Young, full of life. Vandrows new set of leaders. If they decided to turn against me when I come to them only wanting to speak of solutions to our problems, at least it'd only be me and not anyone else. I'm willing to take that sacrifice." Desaius looked back up into Lila's eyes once more, catching a glimpse of Kai just a few feet behind her looking up at Desaius as well.
I'll get my post up, tomorrow before work!

**EDIT**
(will be editing this into a full, extremely detailed CS later, but for now this is what I can at least put up in the mean time)

Maddison Morley

Seventh year at Hogwarts
As Summer Came to a Close...

Sitting here, cross-legged in the middle of my bed with my back against the wall, I began to reflect on the last few months that had gone by. My life had been quite uneventful during the whole of the summer, what with having a muggle for a single mother who expected me to get a job and help out around the house. Now at the age of 17 and, as my mother liked to put it, on the cusp of 'entering womanhood'.. it was time I start trying to make something for myself. What she didn't know was, that I was already set up with a future of my own that was nothing near what she could fathom.

It was hardly achievable to have a social life when the job I maintained in the Muggle Realm was constantly on call, the need never ceased. We always seemed to be 'in season'. Every now and again, I'd get a letter from a friend or two, and would immediately jump at the opportunity to get details of what was currently happening in the wizarding world. It was the only way I was still surviving through the summers, living vicariously through the stories of my friends and their amazing adventures and the occasional Daily Prophet with the usual, unsavory articles Rita Skeeter would write. I couldn't stand reading her articles. It never was clear how some people could actually believe her. She's crooked and slimy. Untrustworthy. It was rumored that Rita could turn into a beetle, but had failed to register herself into the the Animagi Registry. If the rumors were true, I'm sure the Department of Magical Law Enforcement would love to hear all about it.

A sudden clack! brought me back to my present place, staring over at my pet ferret, Micah, who was frozen in fear at the edge of my bed. Following his gaze, I found an all-too-familiar owl sitting on my windowsill with a letter hanging loosely from its beak. The owl being my friend Bronwyn Devereuax's feathery friend. Quickly retrieving the letter, I pet the petite little bird on the top of its head before it turns away and flies off towards home. I settle back into my spot and pull the tab of the envelope open, practically tearing the letter from inside. It didn't take long before the smile on my face faded.

422nd World Cup. Death Eaters. The Conjured Dark Mark. Beauxbatons and Durmstrang pulling out of the Tri-Wizard Tournament!?

My heart instantly sank. What would this school year bring, with a start like this? With both schools out for the Tournament, it'd turn into an in-house rivalry, of sorts. I sighed heavily and set both the paper and letter aside, sliding my hand across my face. Giving a soft, apprehensive sigh, I look over at Micah laying in a tight ball of fluff at my feet.

"At least you can sleep with ease." I frowned slightly at my furry friend, feeling slightly envious knowing I'd not have any luck with a decent nights sleep for a few days.

Naming the Tri-Wizard Tournament Champions...

"Sit down. Please." Dumbledore's words were softly spoken but held a very stern tone. Everyone listened immediately, finding a seat as quickly as possible. I, myself, sitting beside a few of my housemates and friends. Dumbledore waved his hand slowly around the room and suddenly the lanterns dimmed while everyone fell silent with them.

"Now the moment, we've all been waiting for. The Champion Selection!" He turned towards the Goblet, placing both hands on either side of it a moment before stepping away. The bright blue light within flickered a bit and turned a blazing red, spitting out a burning piece of paper which Dumbledore quickly snatched straight out of the air, squinting at it as he read the name.

"The first Tri-Wizard Champion is, Cedric Diggory!" The room erupted in numerous cheers, the tall, handsome guy shaking a few hands as he flashed a grin towards the whole of the room. Crossing the room, Cedric shook Dumbledore's hand, quickly disappearing off into a separate room.

Without a second's notice, the Goblet spit out another paper. "For our second Champion, Richard Corbeaux!" From across the room, the Ravenclaws applauded and a boy I had only seen once or twice was thrust out of his spot among his friends and out into the open. He seemed stiff. Hell, I would be, too. I couldn't imagine being picked. With everyone previously stating the chances of actually getting chosen were slim to none. I watched as the guy shook Dumbledore's hand and went to join Cedric in the other room.

Once Richard disappeared from sight and Dumbledore had his attention back on the Goblet, as if it knew all eyes had been returned to it, it spat out the last 'golden ticket'. "Our third and final Champion," Dumbledore seemed to hesitate, probably for dramatic effect. Well, it was working. The whole room seemed to be holding their breath, including me. He took a look around the room, his eyes being the only thing on him that moved, and shot the hand holding the paper in the air as he called out the name. "Maddison Morley!" ...my name.

The breath I had been holding onto had left me, in that moment. The girls around me were squealing with joy and the guys were cheering in a steady applaud. The cheers were nothing close to Cedric's, but roughly around the same as Richard's had been. Constant and encouraging enough to get me up out of my seat on the bench and down standing in front of our Headmaster. I gave the best smile I could possibly manage and reached my hand out to meet his, his firm handshake seemed to hold me upright. My head was spinning and I felt as if my legs might melt from beneath me. Regardless, I managed to cross the chamber through the crowd of other students, making my way down the curving staircase to the room below.

As I descended, I could hear Dumbledore's fading voice as it echoed throughout the small room behind me. "Excellent. We now have our three champions. But in the end, only one will go down in history. Only o-" I'd reached the bottom of the steps and could hear no more. Before me stood the two young men who'd been chosen before me. Cedric and Richard. A Hufflepuff, a Ravenclaw, and a Slytherin. All that was missing was a Griffindor. If only it was called the Quad-Wizard Tournament. I couldn't help but smile at the thought.

"Seems as though we've won," I mutter in a soft, cheeky manner. From behind, Dumbledore yelled out almost angrily, "Harry Potter!" My eyebrow raised curiously, turning to face the staircase. Moments later, the very soul that had been called out above came from around the corner and down the steps. Just a boy. 14-years-old. Obviously chosen for the tournament. But how?
Shadow
Her eyes darted towards Chincf and Carek, straightening her posture before following close behind Carek as he ventured off with his nose to the ground. Almost instantly as the words came from Carek himself, Shadow smelled them. Tigers. Something deep inside Shadow cringed and she could feel the scars on her back burn with an old, painful memory. Gritting her teeth, Shadow carefully glanced back over her shoulder at Chincf to see what his input would be on what they should do. Shadow could tell the scent was only coming from upwind and the tiger hadn't come into their actual territory, but Carek was right about it being fresh.
Aleu
Aleu's attention was brought back to the pups before her when they began going on about their hunger. Eyebrows furrowing, Aleu looked back behind her and thought to herself, 'No one has sounded off that they got anything, yet. Guess it'll be a while longer. What to do..?' Looking at the girls, Aleu put on the best smile she could and walks to them, getting down to their level in a sort of playbow. "You guys wanna help hunt down a rabbit with me? I don't think the group has caught anything yet, so it's up to us to help out, too."
Desaius
Stopping in his tracks just as he stepped over the invisible border, turning around to face the Fae. Softening his expression as much as possible for the old, grumpy wolf, Desaius let his tail hang low and ducked his head slightly, being as respectful as possible. "Lila, with all due respect, I need to do this alone. Don't want company. If things go south, it'll be on me, and I can't risk being responsible for someone else's death this year. I can't." At the last couple sentences spoken, Desaius' ears curved back against his head and he looked towards the ground, averting Lila's gaze.
Kai
Keeping up with Lila, Kai cocked his head to the side as he saw Desaius act remotely nice for once. "This oughtta be good." mumbled Kai to himself, under his breath. Kai stopped just before Lila, keeping an eye out on their surroundings. They were at the edge of the territories.
I'm getting up a post right now. :)
