Well now that I got the customary "post once" requirement out of the way....

HELLO

Welcome to my safe space. Well, about as safe as one space can be, I guess. If you are here looking for something, I am very sorry to disappoint you, but I made fresh cookies! Come sit a spell.

I guess I'll do some more in-depth stuff about myself. My name is Nick and I am 35 years old living in Illinois. I am a therapist and clinical responder (which is a fancy way of saying I go out on police calls to provide mental health assistance). Been doing therapy for a few years now and I absolutely love it!

I am a gay, cisgender man. I came out in January 2020 (smack dab in the middle of a pandemic. Timing was always my downfall). There is still much I am learning, but I am proud and happy to be who I really am and not have to hide it anymore!

I am an avid gamer, especially roleplaying games (cue surprised and shock noises). I also enjoy writing and reading, especially mysteries. I am not new to roleplay, I promise. I have been doing it for years now in different formats. I am experienced, even if it doesn't seem like it.

I use humor as a coping mechanism for sure, but I also like laughing and enjoying myself. Life can be pretty sad and upsetting for the most part and I don't want to add to it.

Whew! That got deep!

I will be poking my nose around in spaces and hoping to jump headfirst into this. Some interests I have in terms of roleplay settings include superheroes, DnD, science fiction/fantasy, mysteries, thrillers, horror stuffs, apocolypse, and espionage. And I am a fan of most things pop culture. If you have any suggestions or possible roleplays you think I would love, please let me know.

Otherwise, stick around! This is gonna get wild!

Verity could hear the annoying in the interviewer's tone. But what could they do? There was a shelter-in-place order and it wasn't like those were just put out willy-nilly. She quickly shot off a text to Trude. "No, I got it from here. You get home and stay safe. Crazy things happening in the city. Well...crazier than normal lol

Before she could turn to leave she heard the door to the kitched open and someone walk out. She glanced at the man who looked like he ate some bad sushi and was not having a good time. She couldn't place it, but she swore he looked familiar. Or rather, what symptoms he seemed to be exhibiting was familiar.

She was brought out of her stupor when he fell to the ground. Other diners began to panic and move quickly. She didn't see the need for concern, but he was looking really bad. "Someone should call for an ambulance, at least." She had her phone in her hand so she quickly dialed 911. "Hello? I am at the Twin Seasons diner. A man just collapsed and is looking really bad. He appears to be breathing, but we need an ambulance ASAP."

Perry had eyed the contents of the pub, satisfied in her search. She turned to see Max entering behind her. While she liked Max, he was also competition. Sharing stuff was paramount in Clue, though this game meant someone was a murderer and would lie and disguise to win. So was it better to find someone to trust or be sus of everyone.

She sauntered over like an old fashioned flapper. "Why not buy a dame a drink before you pester her with questions, big boy?" She was loving this moment. "I'll take a dirty martini. Extra dirty." She winked at Max. As she waited for her drink, she continued. "It's looking like the pub might be a dead end. Poor choice of words, but you know what I mean. After we partake in our inebtrations I suggest scouting elsewhere. Perhaps somewhere nearby holds more clues."

I am so excited for this! I have been in the market for a new RP/new tabletop RPG game so this fits in so nicely.

Plus wolf is an awesome person and a fantastic GM so this is going to be so fun!

Also I narrowed it down to Witch or Kinetiscist. And I will probably go elf because I love elves :D
