Current Taking a hiatus - not sure when I'll be back.

It's incredible how if you give someone just the tiniest bit of power over others they'll turn into the most self-righteous, selfish, impatient fuckers you will ever meet.

How are some writers on this site still incapable of knowing how a comma works?! It's like the second easy piece of punctuation you learn about as a kid!!!

It'll always be confusing to me when some people regard two or three sentences in an IC post as putting in effort with the writing, yet they consider themselves at a casual/advanced level.

Glad to have you both!

@BlueSky44
Also glad to have you! Your offer is very much appreciated, especially because you've got more experience as a GM than I. I'll send you a PM if I'm still in need by the time the OOC goes up (but I likely will need some assistance at that point).

@WelcmeToGudBrgr
I'll tell you now before you even make the character - squibs likely won't go to wizarding schools. Nearly every single lesson (and every single main important subject like potions, charms, transfiguration & DADA) requires the practical use of magic. I can't research it for sure at the moment, but someone who couldn't do the majority of schoolwork at Hogwarts wouldn't be accepted. They'd also not be able to intereact with the plot very much.
@WelcmeToGudBrgr
Mhm, I've seen that other roleplay. Things like Wands and Houses will be included in the CS, but you don't have to get them off Pottermore if you don't want to. It's not really that important.
@WelcmeToGudBrgr

Scores for what?
@MissCapnCrunch

Hey, we always need some badgers! Besides, the Hufflepuffs have the best common room ever. Right next to the kitchens, on the ground floor, and it's been modelled to look as cosy as a Hobbit-Hole. There's literally not a thing wrong with it.
@PrinceAlexus
Yeah, I thought things would be more low-key back in the 50's. For the wizarding world, at least. *Glares at the racist, sexist muggles.* I planned on throwing in some racial tension here and there, depending on the antagonist.

@MissCapnCrunch
Oh, you mean the Pottermore quiz? Yeah, if people wanted to do that, then go for it! I did take that quiz and got Ravenclaw, which was cool. Eagles are pretty awesome.
Will be posting tomorrow before work!
I don't think I have a preferred house over another; it's the actions of it's current members that would make one seem more or less favourable over another. Slytherin gets a bad rap thanks to Voldemort and his followers (And I guess, it's founder) but some of the greatest witches and wizards came from Slytherin house. Merlin, for one!

Oh, and if anyone is torn between putting their character in a certain house, I'll likely be allowing multiple characters. :D
@Agent 47@PrinceAlexus

A pleasure to have you both! :)
@HushedWhispers

Great! I think after two or three more people, I'll get to work on the OOC and the character sheet. :)
@MissCapnCrunch

Wow. I haven't been in all that many roleplays here, but that sounds like one shitty GM. I think the only thing I may be a bit strict about will be more muggle references - I don't want a muggleborn talking about his iPhone in the 1950's, but I assume people will use their common sense there. XD Glad to have you aboard, Cap'n!
