Leo looked as Ms. Smith went inside and did as she told them to do. He quickly sat down when she told them to do so. He already knew this story, even did research on the owner but nothing came up. Apparently, their dear benefactor didn't want to get his identity leaked... or he just wasn't searching hard enough. Maybe he'll ask Ms. Smith personally since he didn't think of ever doing that in fear that maybe she'll get angry.

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.
I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

"Ha, cool. Show me the complete thing later alright?" Leo politely requested with a smile. Hearing her response, he just flashed a smile at her. He then stood aside with his hands in his pockets. He wanted to at least let everyone get to know each other since he could always do that later. He liked to see everyone mingle with each other. It was nice to see how people took it slow since he usually goes about everything faster. If there wasn't any new people around, he would've rushed everything he had to do. Thomas and Ms. Smith would be used to that already.

Miroku looked excited when Kofi mentioned turning close to a dragon. "A dragon? Cool! Oh man, you have to tell me when you do transform into one. That would be awesome. Those fire breathing dragons of course, not the komodo dragons, already saw one of those." There were merits to having super speed... such as going to random countries without having to go onto an airplane or boat. "No, I mean if I ever go faster than that. Faster than light... something else might happen and I don't think my body can handle it." He continued. "No one knows about my power. So they call me "Speedster" but I don't like to be called like that so please, call me something else."
He looked at Aleksa. "Oh, sweet. What's your name? I don't think I caught it." He said, smiling nicely at the young girl. He wouldn't like to intimidate her so soon but he doubted that would happen anytime soon. "I'm the kid who has super speed."

Leo looked at the rectangular patch of... something, space, appeared beside Haven. The teen didn't know what he should do at times like this but he knew that the user, Brooke, could at least do something to make it disappear. If not, well then, he'd have to be forced to knock her out for the time being. He never liked it when he was ordered to do something like that when some previous kids' powers went out of control. He was tasked to do something like that because he was trained in martial arts and he knew exactly where to strike to make someone sleep. He waited and saw that the portal disappeared and Brooke seemed to have calmed down, hopefully.
"Well... that was something. Portal?" He asked as he looked at her with a curious look on his face. So... that was her power? Must be something to make portals appear and stuff like that. Wait... if those were portals then she can technically teleport and now Leon knows someone who can be as fast as him! Wow, that was great. He then smiled at her and then placed a hand on her shoulder and then whispered to her, "Maybe you should... be more chill. Don't worry alright?" He then leaned back and placed his hand inside his pocket once more.

Can you shapeshift into mythical creatures like phoenixes or maybe a sphinx?" He asked, curious about the other's power. "Ah, I broke the speed barrier before... I... think I can go faster but I might... disappear." He replied. Yes, Miroku was sure that he could go faster but he knows that something wrong might happen if he did.

Miroku leaned back on his chair and then started to stretch his limbs. He then looked at the others and started scanning the room for that kid teleporter. Oh man, he really wanted to meet her right now. He hasn't met anyone who is faster or as fast as him before so this really got him pumped up. He then looked at the tattooed guy. "It'll be a pleasure working with you then." He said before standing up. "The name's Miroku Akashi. Call me whatever you guys want, I don't mind." Despite being of Japanese descent, he never actually picked up any of their culture since he was an orphan. "I'm the guy with super speed. Can't say I'm good in fighting all that much but I can manage." He informed them, just to let everyone know what he thinks his flaws are. For those that he can't see yet, then his teammates or Sir Zodiac would make that apparent.
With his personal introduction over, he continued to scan the room as Sir Zodiac left. His eyes landed on the young girl and then he slowly ran towards her, not really too eager to use his super speed in a place full of chairs and tables in fear that he would trip over them and embarrass himself as a first impression. That would be horrible. Once he reached her, he said, "You're the kid who teleports right?" He asked Aleksa with a kind smile on his face. She was younger than him from the looks of it. Well that didn't matter, all he wanted was to see if she is truly faster than him and to be friends... well he wanted to be friends with everyone but they could wait. After all, they all just met today.

"Oh. Is that so?" That was the only thing Miroku could say in response. Not that he was in disbelief of what Sir Zodiac has said, it was more on the latter thing he said. About his world being destroyed because the people with powers couldn't work together. So that was why he wanted to help this place, because he doesn't want the same thing to happen here. "Well personally, I can't wait to team up with other super powered beings." He said with a grin. He doesn't have much confidence in social skills since he sometimes doesn't know what to say at times but he does know how to follow orders.

Found 'ya. Miroku thought to himself as Aleksa teleported towards the guy answering all their questions which he did want to just call sir or maybe boss but it seems he does have a name... or at least a codename. "Oh yeah, I thought of something... Sir Zodiac, how will you help us? I mean I'm pretty sure you said that no one else had powers like us so how would you know how to train us?" A truly innocent questions coming from him. He was just curious about it. If he wasn't mistaken, Sir Zodiac was just a normal human without any experience with powers.

He sent a miniature wave at them out of habit although he was well-aware that they couldn't see him do so. He didn't mind; he did that all the time back when he and Thomas would pass by each other. Well at least Thomas was getting along with her and she hasn't fainted yet despite him touching her all the time to guide her. Such a good omen. "Take care on your way down Thomas, new girl." He never did catch her name... or maybe he did and just forgot about it since he has been walking back and forth. He'll have to ask later after gym.
He then opened the doors to the gym and started to scan the place, searching for the group he was with earlier. He finally found them and then looked at Brooke, signalling for her to follow. It's better to make friends now than later. For Leo, he wasn't meeting new 'friends', he was meeting new 'family', just like how he treats Thomas like a brother. An older blind brother. "Well, Brooke, welcome to the gym. These people beside me are Haven and Leon, I was with them earlier before I met you at the door." Leo explained, gesturing to the female and male respectively. "Guys, this is Brooke, a latecomer but new to this orphanage nonetheless."
