Stillwater Vale Asylum

Joshua walked down the hallway, hands in his pockets as he did so. Almost everyone knew why he had joined up. He was an asset given to this place in exchange for something the organization kept secret. He suspected it had something to do with the weird things happening in this here hospital. Although there really isn't much Joshua could do to retaliate so he just went with it. And so it wasn't really weird for him to go out of the hospital and call somebody. In fact, it had been a regular occurrence as of late, what with him reporting what had been happening every week depending if something significant happened or not.

The conversation was hushed though and the two in the conversation made sure that the call wasn't being listened into. It was brief, not even talking five minutes before Joshua hung up. He then took out the paper where the address was written. Soon. Walking towards the edge of the cliff, he ripped the paper and let the wind carry it towards the ocean.

Ichi barked once. The male looked at his dog who had been playing with a butterfly. A smile crept to his face before he walked down the path back to the hospital. It wasn't long until he got inside and began to patrol once more. Having finished his food earlier, he was free to do whatever he wanted for this break.

"Oh Josh!" A female guard called out to him and he stopped and turned to her. "Hey, how's it going?" Josh replied with a shrug. "Good huh? I saw one of the nurses come from Doc Greene's offices saying something along the lines of having this nurse in the clinic." Ha, this girl was a true gossiper even in this field of work. "Between you and me, I think she's talking about Nurse Nancy. You know her right?"

"Kind nurse, pretty new, in charge of most of the pills?"

"Yeah that one. You know how she has these episodes about her old injury. I think the other nurse is just jealous of how hard working she is." The guard continued before being called off by another guard. It was one of the Block heads. "Ah crap, gotta go. See 'ya later Josh."

With a nod of farewell, he started walking once more. Nurse Nancy inside the clinic huh? Joshua made his way to the aforementioned place and lo and behold, she was there. He nodded a greeting to one of the nurses there and then headed towards the lying nurse who had an arm slung over her eyes.

"Greetings Nurse Nancy. Just thought I'd tell you that one of the nurses may have filed a complaint because of you." A straight to the point giving of information. That's how Josh does things anyway.

Appearance: Warren stands around 5'9" and weighs 165 lbs. He is visible muscles, but he's not as big as a body builder. After all, he needed to be fast but strong enough to get out of a pinch. He has dirty blonde hair and light brown eyes which is usually covered with glasses when he's in casual mode. He has many whip scars on his back, looks pretty deep even now that it has healed. There are other scars on his chest and abdomen but they look more like knife scars than whips. No one knows for sure since he doesn't share much about it.

Faction: Et pertingens ore dei

Bio: Warren was an orphan, left at the door of one Templar when he was just a baby. It was understandable that he was trained to become one of them, part of the Order. The blonde was quite a natural when it came to archery so they majored him on that. He was taught a lot of holy things and was taught not to give in to vices. He understood everything really, knew how to preach the Word of God not through words but through actions. He first started at the Templar Knights. He did quite a fine job there and soon enough inducted to the Et pertingens ore dei after a few years of service.

Although there weren't really too many orders for him and he was given free reign over his life. But he was ordered to try and exterminate any of the demons he could see and convert people to do good things. And so there he is, a bartender in the local bar, helping out stressed out people. The bar itself is pretty normal. Just a couple of drinks here and there so it isn't really anything bad.

There are times where he would be called up to do something. Dangerous things. He would often risk his life in a mission. He majored more on sneaking around and taking down people. Organizations, demon groups, thugs, he had a lot of blood on his hands and that isn't even all of them. He would often get a carrier pigeon instead of mail for his job. He would memorize it then burn it, leaving no trace.

Personality: Most wouldn't see him as the type to fight since he is naturally good-natured and fun to be around. He loves helping other people despite his intimidating neutral aura. He would often laugh with people. He absolutely loves kids and would often fabricate stories of people fighting off demons. Fabricated stories about the Templars fighting off these monsters with the holy light that has been given to them by God. People often thinks that he's just preaching the word of God to kids so everyone took him with a grain of salt. No one knew that what he was talking about was actually real.

There are some priests who he detests so much. Those priests who uses their title to do something horrible. He would often tell this to the head in Vatican City, through letters. After all, he was working undercover to find these kinds of people. Scum aren't only found in the streets.

Weapons: A bow that has been said to be blessed by a holy figure back in the time. His name has not been given to Warren, or any of the previous holders of the bow. It is said to be that it vanquishes evil with only one swift strike and helps the wielder of the bow (should they be worthy) with aiming at the most vital points but none of the archers are sure if this is true or if they're just skilled. A short sword hanging from his side.

Armor: [See picture above] Blessed by the church, the armor is pretty sturdy. Although underneath it is an old reliable chainmail, given that most of their enemies use swords, this was just right. The bracers and grieves are actually made of light but durable metal which is good for protecting and stealth/speed.

Julio Taiyou

Julio couldn't help but let a soft laugh when he saw the Ursa. A clear path to it. A one on one battle? Not too bad, he supposed. Should he be able to defeat this one, then he'll be home free. Without any distractions, he could run straight towards the goal. However, it would not be easy. When the hulking beast was heading straight as him, he fired multiple ice shots. However, he was still swept up. Struggling under the Ursa's grasp, his free hand went to his pocket of crystallized dust.

He didn't care what he picked up. Pressing it onto the Grimm's belly, the lightning dust would activate. It would hurt, but it wouldn't put Julio down, not with his amount of Aura to spare. He doubted the Grimm would let up easily too. But as long as the Ursa would let go of him, it was fine.

Standing at a height of 5'10, Michael isn't too intimidating but isn't too innocent-looking either. He has quite an athletic body. He has midnight blue hair and black eyes. He almost always wears his black beanie on his head but when he's not wearing it, his hair is usually messy, but it isn't long. He wears a ski jacket, ski goggles, gloves, and jeans. He would often wear a half ski mask when he goes out. He has minor scars littered all over his body thanks to his adventurous nature.

Character Bio & Backstory:
Born in Alaska, Michael was used to the cold. He was born to a hardworking mother and a convicted father. The latter had killed five people in his lifetime before being caught. This was when Michael was ten years old, so he knew full well what his father was doing. But neither he or his mother spoke up to the police, not in fear of being hurt by the father, but because they loved him so. In the ten years that his father was taking care of him, he taught him different things and warped his sense of morality.

"It's every man for himself out there son. Remember, think of yourself first before others."

It was unknown why this person even married someone and had a child with him. He was actually a caring father and husband despite thinking like this. They were living a pretty normal and happy life even when his father went on killing sprees. When he was caught, his mother was devastated. So was he. His father is to serve a lifetime in prison with no chance of parole. And so the mother and son was left alone to fend for themselves. They were still well-off in life.

Michael was average in school so there were no quarrels there. But he was an adventurous spirit and would often wander to somewhere and disappear for days before being found by the police. He would get reprimanded but he would always do it again. And so his mother promised to go camping whenever he wanted as long as it was a weekend or a holiday. And so the two would often be joined by another family (a friend) and they would go hiking somewhere. He would often ski as well.

At the day of the outbreak, they were out in the mountains with their skiing and camping gear. They were planning on staying the night after they were skiing. But things turned sour when the zombies started appearing. Having a slight advantage with everything they had, they survived for quite a while. However, things started to go downhill. They were running out of food supplies and they had to go down to the town to do so. Things didn't go so well and only Michael managed to get out. He trudged towards a cabin where he found a hunting rifle and a lot of ammo. He camped there for a while before leaving again to find better shelter.

Flaws:
- He isn't the brightest person out there
- A man of questionable morals; it's not the best decision to let him make a decision for the group
- A natural liar, he would often lie about the things he scavenges
Strengths:
- He is a survivalist so he knows how to shoot a gun, how to scavenge, and does it well. He's also physically fit
- He's a hardworking person and is often the first person to volunteer to head out for scavenging. While it is also for his own good, he also thinks somewhat about the group and only takes what he needs.
- Optimistic

Kept Secret or Hidden Agenda:
Keeps some supplies to himself when he's out scavenging. Often food and medicine.

Joshua listened to her request as he proceeded with the regular inspection that he does every shift. It is to avoid suspicion and also because it's his job. Hm... retrieving something of sentimental value? Getting out here is a challenge by itself. Even for a guard like him. Only a few guards are ever let out. They feel like prisoners of the prison they're guarding as well. For the two and a half years of working here, he never really goes out. Then again, there's nothing waiting for him in the outside world so there's that.

Finishing the inspection, he looked at the paper handed to him. He took the paper and looked at the address. "I'll see what I can do." He replied, tucking the paper inside his guard vest. "Don't expect a miracle. I can't get it done in a flash nor can I give it to you." He pointed out. The patients were confiscated of anything they own when they got in mostly because of fear that they can use it to escape. Even mere ornaments are taken from them. They are highly trained people so even jewelry can be used to get the hell out of this place.

"I'll ask someone from the outside and ship it here. I'm sure one of my co-workers will take the job. Once it's here, I'll keep hold of it. I can't give it to you. Rules say it." They weren't just assassins after all. They take on any job they wish as long as it will give them sufficient money. "If that's all, then I will take my leave."
