Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)
Things you need to know about me?
I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.
I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.
Magic. It was a thing of fairy tales. She lived her whole life believing that it was not real. And she probably could have lived in complete peace without knowing that it had existed. However, seeing as she, along with these other people, stumbled upon a scene that should not have been seen by normal people, she guessed that this was somehow inevitable. Though she highly doubted that it was an innate ability as she was sure that would have activated at some point in her past. And besides, she just couldn't not believe him. From what this Gilfheim did to the frame of the bed, there was already evidence that what Mr. Assistant Leader Emory held some semblance of truth.
Then they were given a choice to either walk away or stay. The former didn't sound like a good idea as something called 'Chaos' would be after them and their whole family. The latter equally didn't seem like a good idea since that would mean she would have to leave her old and normal life. Then again, she could consider it gone the moment she woke up in this infirmary.
"I'll stay then. If anything, to find out and control this 'power' of mine. Whatever it is." She said before looking at the others and then looking back at Emory. "I will help however I can. But may I ask... can you ensure the safety of our loved ones? I would assume that they would know who we are and still go after them correct?" She already lost her father, and she wouldn't want to lose her mother either. A butterfly landed on her shoulder. In a split moment of a rush of emotions, even though it could not be seen in her face, a scene flashed before their eyes, as if the surroundings bled into the certain scene - however, only Arden would be able to see this illusion. It was the scene of the car crash, her mother heavily bleeding and her father had been thrown out of the windshield and into the darkness of the woods.
It was only for a brief moment. Tooru's eyes widened and she knew who had received the memory. Her eyes locked onto the male who had entered. "Did you see that?" She asked.
Myno stumbled back when she began transforming into a dragon. He had to honestly give that transformation a ten over ten. But her attack did not help their eventual tactical retreat. The men of Concilium began to advance towards her and began using their polearms to pierce her scales. And what's sad about that? It was working. She was being wounded. He drew in a breath and then curled his fists. There was no choice, he had to transform again. However, before he could do that, Jarde ordered this Keerin to heal him.
He let out a grunt as a reply as he stood still, looking at the field. As soon as she was done healing him, he was ready to go. Minimal casualties, Jarde said. Of course, they were still Concilium after all. However, it was hard to not get angry at the ones who were actively trying to kill one of your teammates. Didn't they know that she was Concilium as well? Gods above. "It is much appreciated, Sage." He said.
Like what Keerin said, it did only take a while. He felt his back feel a lot less painful and his energy came flowing back to him. He then nodded at Keerin and then stood back, the dragonstone in his bracer began glowing. Much unlike what Nyx went through, he didn't seem to be resisting or was in pain during the transformation.
The pale yellow dragon roared, as if to get the attention of the other footmen before barreling (quite quickly may I add) towards the archers with every plan to just knock them out.
Tooru looked at the newcomer. He looked older than the two that were "taking care" of them. He regarded them as "Kitty" and "Theo". It wouldn't take anyone an inquisitive mind to find out who was who. He then said that they should rest for a few more hours even if they were feeling better. Actually, Tooru never felt better than what she was feeling right now. She felt that she could go on three performances non-stop and not even feel a little bit tired. And then there was the news. So they would finally find out what was going on hm? Alright, she was looking forward to this.
Unfortunately enough, he didn't continue talking about it. She was about to ask him her questions when there was a knock on the door and another person came in. He looked nervous to be under the gaze of so many people. He was looking for this leader of theirs. Okay, Tooru figured that this place was some sort of company then! So, what were they doing here? The person earlier introduced himself as Emory Lone. At least she had a name now, aside from the two earlier. He then told the new guy to wait by Kitty and Theo and wait for them to be introduced.
And so the brown haired girl took this opportunity to raise her hand, "Excuse me, seeing as you are the leader's assistant, maybe you could answer the question as to where and why we are here?" It was probably the question in everyone's minds. Well, even if it wasn't, it was in hers and she wanted to know. After all, it wasn't everyday that you wake up in an infirmary to two bickering people talking about Daemons and Yin Shards to be followed by the arrival of a scholarly looking man who claimed to be the leader's assistant and saying that the news he has brought would change their lives forever. "Because the last thing I remember was her-" She then pointed at Kitty. "And some dude turning purple."
"Give me your brightest smile okay? One, two, three!"
Name: "Me? The name's Robyn. Robyn Clark, at your service!"
Age: "I'm 16 and a half. Birthday's on March 14."
Appearance: "Let's see here, I'm five three. I know, I'm small, but what can I do? Anyway, I have brown hair that ends around my shoulders; it's pretty unruly and I've long since given up trying to pat it down. I have light brown eyes, bordering hazel, I think. I usually wear a brown trench coat, a gift from my father... don't ask. I usually wear a shirt, pants and boots - the usual traveler's clothing. Around my neck is usually my trusty DSLR. Like many travelers, I have a backpack with me. The contents of it have extra SD cards for my camera, an extra camera and some other trainer stuff."
Personality/Motivation: "I don't have big dreams. I don't want to become a Pokemon champion, I don't want to be the ultimate winner of contests. I just want to travel the world and take pictures of the beauty that comes with it. Photography is my passion and I don't care what I take a picture of, whether it be a location, a person or Pokemon. I want to capture it all!"
Robyn is the kind of person who is energetic and happy most of the time. There aren't many things that could dampen her mood so she's usually very friendly - even to strangers. But to be perfectly honest, she doesn't really care who she takes a picture of. Though she would usually approach someone and ask for their permission first. But, there are exceptions, especially when someone's training. She just snaps a photo without their consent and maybe just talk to them later on or when she's caught. Despite being like this, she is actually pretty logical and thinks things through well before she acts. She's not much for battling though and only does it for fun so that her Pokemon could get some well-earned exercise.
History: Robyn was born in Unova. Her parents were Pokemon breeders so you can just imagine the amount of Pokemon she grew up with. Though her most favorite out of all of them was a Growlithe that was born when she was around five years old and she's been taking care of him from then on. She would sometimes get into Pokemon battles with her Growlithe but she never felt the kick that most trainers do so she knew that it wasn't her calling and neither was contests. So she decided to help her parents with Pokemon breeding. When she was nine years old, she was gifted a DSLR. And something just clicked, she had taken mounds of photos of the Pokemon at home then those around town.
By the time she was twelve, she had already traveled around the Unova region, taking photos of all the Pokemon in the region. She was hoping to get some shots of Legendary Pokemon but that's one in a million chances to get a shot like that so she opted for visiting gyms to get a picture. She even tagged along multiple trainers who go to the Pokemon League to take pictures of the Elite Four but she had to keep those pictures a secret since they couldn't allow the Elite Four's Pokemon to be shown to the public. However, when she asked them to model for at least a picture, they would do it.
When she was thirteen, she was allowed to travel from region to region to continue her passion. She brought along her Growlithe. They first went to the Kanto-Johto regions and then began to take pictures of the Pokemon she hasn't seen in the Unova region and then trainers and the best locations of the region. She packed it up and headed to Alola next, as she heard nothing but the best from it. When she arrived, she received a letter from a professor and this is where the adventure starts...
"My team? I don't usually battle but like everyone else, I like catching some Pokemon too!"
Current Team:
He has a defining trait actually - there is a black shape in the form of a paw on his belly. Ability: Flash Fire and [Hidden Ability] Justified Moveset: - Bite - Ember - Roar - Crunch - Egg move Personality: Growlithe is very loyal to Robyn and also protective of her when he notices that someone is threatening her. Despite his size, he is very brave and anyone or anything that threatens Robyn. However, he is actually quite a friendly Pokemon to those who are friendly and is quite playful. He is the acting guard 'dog' to Robyn. He is not usually kept inside a Pokeball.
I seriously see Robyn riding Arcanine once Growlithe evolves.
I can allow Lara's, but if you have a magikarp or a golden out on land... Your battle ain't gonna last that long. Honestly if I were battling that I'd just wait for the opposing Pokemon to suffocate and die faint. :D
@Polaris North I would allow an ember on the growlithe ^^
I was thinking of having a photographer who has a Growlithe ever since she was a kid. I assume I can only give him basic moves or can I give him something like Fire Fang/Ember?
