Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

The rustling made Emi's hand shoot for her bow and then made the other hand go straight for an arrow. When James told them that it seemed that they didn't have to move, she registered it as prey coming to them. She jumped up from her seat and then prepared the arrow on the string of her bow. It only took a moment or two before something emerged from the underbrush - three wolves and a slightly larger wolf that was probably their Alpha.

By the time they burst from the underbrush, however, Emi had already climbed up to one of the trees with her arrow trained onto the Alpha wolf. However, she had also tuned her attention to the others. The wolves haven't attacked yet so they were safe... for now. Who knows when they'll attack. She listened to Doc Eric and then joked, "Well, there's no time like the present to start something new." However, her eyes were still on the wolves, prepared to let the arrow loose once they made any aggressive moves towards them.

Now let's see where this goes.
Myno

For reasons unknown to him, Nyx had been easy to subdue and she soon turned back into a human making life way more easier. He transformed back and then slung her over his shoulder as he looked at Jarde as he yelled out his commands. Myno gave the boy prince a small nod as acknowledgement before adjusting his grip on Nyx so that he was comfortable with her position and would be able to run fast while making sure that she was comfortable as well.

The Manakete was unsure just how long or how far they had been running, but they entered a forest and a fog blanketed them - both ensuring that they would be well-hidden but also hiding the enemy should they come after them. But it was good of a place to rest as any. He put Nyx down on a soft patch of ground so she could sleep more comfortably there and then looked around.

Taka had made a grave for all their fallen comrade, bless their souls, Tomoe was wrapping Jarde's wound with some cloth and Keerin was healing Merilia. Myno let out a sigh as he sat down and then leaned onto one of the trees that surrounded all of them. He would have asked what they should do. But rest first, that is their first priority. From what had transpired, it's well-earned.
Aisik Shomer and Ashley Westerian

@AnaSilan Sunja and @Polaris North

Ashley had not been oblivious to Aisik's nervous habit as he replied to her question though she decided not to pry any further, as it might not be the best path to tread on. "A youth shelter huh? That's so nice of you." She was also well aware of the status of the people in Israel. It's not exactly the best place to grow up in. With all the conflict that has been going on, those kinds of acts would have been surely appreciated. She could see why he had built one as he had grown up in the same place. It must have pushed him to build one. Though, she didn't make any comments about his supposed partner. Again, she'd rather not stick her nose too deep into other people's personal lives... and that especially includes Aisik whom she had never talked to before.

"Aw, I want to see some of your art if possible. I'm sure they're amazing." She hadn't been known for trying to please people so it means that she really means what she says, and she really thinks that Aisik's arts are good ones. Then again, the girl didn't really have much artistic background so she's probably just going to stare at awe at probably every painting the guy had thinking that they were so awesome, and just comment that over and over again because she has a great lack in vocabulary when it comes to appreciating artistic talent. Be that as it may, she certainly does know when someone puts their heart and soul into something they're doing and that's what she appreciates the most.

Her head turned to the direction of the director who had called out to Aisik and telling him that the next scene was with Izabella. Oh! Mordechai and Elaine! That would be so interesting. "I can't wait to see how the writers planned this scene out and how you and Izabella would bring life to the characters." Given that she had been on set for the filming of Mordechai and Elaine's interactions, mostly out of sheer curiosity and sometimes the fact that she just couldn't sit still. Anyhow, their relationship had been very nice up until Mordechai was written out of existence.

"Me? Oh, I've been good. I stuck with the acting business and everything's been-" Ashley stopped herself mid-sentence as she doubled back on what Aisik had said. He told them to get rid of Mordechai? She simply stood there for the longest of moments... which was only about ten seconds before snapping out of her thoughts and could only mutter a single question, "Are you alright?" It wasn't a why he decided to leave. It was more of worry for his being. The thing that immediately came to her mind was that Aisik was sick and had to return home quickly, or his family might have needed him.

Aisik frowned, confusion evident at Ashley's sudden change in topic. "Uh...y-yeah? I'm fine. At least, I think so..." He reached his hand up, running it over his own face in an attempt to find something wrong. "Why? Am I turning red? All I ate were the strawberries and I wasn't allergic last time I checked."

Ashley breathed out a sigh of relief. "No, you're fine right now." She quickly said once Aisik was trying to find out if something was wrong with him. "I just... you know, thought that you might be sick and that's why you told the writers to write Mordechai out. I may not have been the person who told you to come back but I would still feel pretty guilty about it if you were just forcing yourself." She reasoned. From his reaction, it means that there wasn't anything wrong with him in terms of physical diseases. But that does make her wonder why Aisik decided to leave when they still weren't done.

"Oh!" Aisik laughed as her explanation reached him. He dropped his hands from his face. "No no, I wasn't sick or anything like that I just..." He sobered up and hunched his shoulders forward. "Something...uh, something bad happened in my personal life that I knew was going to negatively impact my acting."

'Damn. So much for being open and honest.' Aisik thought. It was still a step up from his openness in the past, but Damned if he wasn't being cryptic. He reached up and scratched the back of his head nervously.

"Oh I see. Well I won't pry any further." Ashley said, reassuring him that he wouldn’t need to explain any further if he didn't want to. At least she knew a reason to why he had suddenly disappeared. Though she honestly was curious as to what this "something bad" is.

She turned to the director who was motioning Aisik to get there."I think your scene with Izabella is up. Good luck out there Aisik." Ashley said, gesturing for him to move. "Looking forward to it." She said, giving him an encouraging smile.

Friday - Mather Memorial High to Orlaith Valley Trail and Park

Evander looked at Belle as she explained what he should do. Defense huh? Going against Aiden and Sebastian out of all people made him a little anxious. And from what Belle said, he was afraid this little capture the flag game would end in some sort of fight. He'd rather not risk losing control of his power then in blind rage. He slowly nodded at Belle. "Will do." He then turned to the other side, where the base of the others are. Fire. Belle didn't seem to be in a panic, which confused him. Shouldn't they be running by now? Forest fires are a real danger if not contained after all. However, something did make Evander stay beside the flag. It's like he has thrown away his own sense of self-preservation to finish this game.

"I wish you luck." Though he does think he'll need it more than them considering who he's up against. He stood by the flag with his arms behind his back, waiting for the two to come. He honestly would rather not use his flashlight for now. He still honestly did think it would be a harmless team-building experience but his alert bells were ringing ever since Belle said that Aiden wasn't exactly planning on this just being a normal game. Behind his back, ice began to form in his hands. It unnerved him that his mind was preparing for a fight - a real fight.

Well, time to see how this will go. Maybe he won't end up regretting going here after all. Or maybe he will. Time to find out.
Anyhow, I probably won't be posting a reply for Ryoshi so feel free to skip me.
@FantasyChic

Was waiting for Chris too but I'll make a post later when I'm back from school then.
@Shadeflare123

My condolences.

Interacting with: Alex Rossmoore (@AbysmalDemon), Hotaru Satrun and Jade (@EWillden)

His reaction was priceless, but then again, it was understandable. But still it was a little funny. She let out a short giggle and then nodded at his question. "That I did. Though I honestly have no idea where it is or where I'm going. Just got some basic instructions and I thought I should wing it from there." She said before chuckling nervously. Well, at lease she found a person she could go with now and can be assured that she wouldn't get lose for any reason.

"Robyn, nice to meet you Alex. This here's Growlie!" She said with a wide smile as she gestured to the Growlithe who had been excitedly pacing around the place since earlier on. She would have offered a handshake if not for the fact that another two people approached them. She turned her attention to them and let Alex interact as she simply looked between them as they spoke and rocking on her heels. So these are also people who were called by the professor! Cool! There were so many of them. Were there others? Oh she's so excited to see them!

She then looked towards Hotaru who had asked about what she was doing. "It's not for anything big like research but I do plan on taking pictures of every single Pokemon in the world!" She said, sharing her dream with the three others who were present. She didn't care how ridiculous it sounded for them. She will accomplish this goal even if it takes years for her to get it! "Alola has some pretty nice Pokemon too and some of them look different than in the other regions so this is certainly a treasure trove for me." She continued with a small grin.
@AbysmalDemon

Apologies but my reply will be delayed as school is really ticking me off. I will not promise that I will post tomorrow but I will try.
Emi Ushikida

Two months ago, everything had changed for the young girl. She had somehow been transported somewhere (she had eventually found out that it was because of magic) and then was forced to live in that world without any knowledge of what it actually was and its history. Thankfully enough, they use the same language as them. Or at least, they speak English, which she had been particularly good at despite her educational background. Through those two months, she had learned basic lightning magic... and that she was actually nimbler and more fit than she was back on Earth. She could jump from one building to the next, dodge at a moment's notice and so on. It was fun. It was also easier to pickpocket and steal from the people here and the guards are nothing. Their technology wasn't very advanced either so they had no idea what a 'camera' is leading to her being able to baffle the minds of many magicians. That, in itself, was the best feeling ever. She should learn how to materialize those pictures before she runs out of memory. Should be easy enough. She had been living the good life with a lot of gold in her pouch, much thanks to her advanced pickpocketing and hunting skills.

Though now, she had been discovered by other people from Earth. The day before, they had found her taking pictures and explained to her that they were from the same planet. While she had highly enjoyed herself in this planet, she was also eager to get back to Earth. After all, Tatsuo must be worried sick and Ayumi must have hired a search party for her youngest photographer. So, she agreed to party up with these strangers and then headed back to where they had appeared. Oh, she remembered that place. She was all confused when she appeared on this planet and had stumbled blindly on another town where she learned about everything.

Emi had been browsing through her photos when the fire was lit. She lowered it when James suggested to go and scavenge but then Doc Eric suggested not to, as staying together would be ideal. He seemed rather nervous. Then again, Doc Eric always seems to have this nervous energy around him. "I mean, the jerky ain't too bad. I could come with him since I'm pretty much good with shooting my bow and stuff." She was younger than any of them and by at least a decade but she learned that she could openly speak and suggest things. "But you know, all up to you guys." But she also thinks that, out of respect, she could only give so much input.
