Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

City K --> HQ
@SpookySquid @Cherrywitch @FallenTrinity

Shindo had stayed with the downed alien for only a few minutes until a copter came to take it to the labs for whatever reason. He stretched his back and then prepared to leave when he was told to report to HQ for debriefing. He questioned it. This was a first time for him to be honest. They knew him as one of those "part time heroes" who just came to the rescue when they could. Being a student, he needed to still attend his classes and such. So hearing that he needed to debrief at HQ surprised him and told them that he had something else to do. But they disregarded it and then told him to still go to HQ. He asked for a lift but the pilots were already flying before he could ask.

"What a pain..." He muttered to himself as he walked to the nearest ramen stand. He fished out what little pocket money he had with him and began eating. The person manning the ramen stand looked at him oddly as he was still in costume but didn't say anything. The guy must think that he was just a fanboy or something. Shindo finished eating the ramen in record time and then he walked outside. With his stomach filled, he could probably make it to City A within a few minutes. Would it take him ten? Or maybe twenty? Ah he wasn't sure how fast he should go but maybe he should probably hurry.

And with that, he was off. His communicator buzzed to life and admittedly, he was actually expecting that girl, Puppeteer, to speak but was instead met with another voice. It was a male's voice. "Flash Forward, boy do I have news for you." The familiar voice of the older male came to him. He was working in HQ as one of those desk attendants. He was also Shindo's uncle, Masahiro Tsubasa.

"Really Uncle Hiro? Well, spill it." Shindo replied as he turned a building while still in his super speed. It took effort to run and talk at the same time. Thankfully, his ADHD helped in these sorts of cases as he is able to multitask without much difficulty.

"You know Dreadlock right?" Shindo gave a small grunt in reply. Of course he knew her. Everyone in the Hero Association knew of her. He's worked with her... at least twice before. He was admittedly impressed with her. She actually had a goal and wanted to continue this super hero stuff. He was impressed with all that were like that, as he was not one of them. How can someone be so willing to risk their life for some people they don't even know? He has asked himself that so many times. He was only putting up a front after all. He never put his heart in it. Not like the others... not like her. "She's in the ICU."

Shindo almost tripped in shock. He had to stop and compose himself. "She's where?" He practically shouted the question through his earpiece. Dreadlock? That hero? In the ICU? "W-What happened? Is she alright now?"

"Geez kid, no need to be so worried. She's in a coma right now. I don't have all the details but apparently, Guardian accidentally hit her along with the alien they were attacking in his final blow."

"I... see..." Shindo took a deep breath and then started to run again until he entered Super Speed. "Hey Uncle, remind me that I need to visit her." The transmission turned into static and then disappeared completely. Ah, they were cut off. That was fine, at least he heard what he needed to hear. He stumbled when he entered City A and then went to a complete stop. There were so many people outside and it was hard to weave through them in Super Speed.

He continued to walk to HQ with his mask still on. There were only a few who stopped, looked and pointed at him because of recognition of the second rank of the B class. Huh, surely, if it was Sunshine walking down the road, everyone would probably be taking pictures of him. Or maybe he was just being pessimistic. Oh well, whatever. It didn't matter much anyway.

Shindo entered the HQ and then someone approached him to give him take-out food. He bowed as thanks and then opened it. Mhm, beef and rice. He closed it again as he would save it for later. He then stumbled upon the scene of Angel Grace, Guardian, Violet Reaper and that C-Class hero he had to apologize to for his earlier attitude. He stepped aside as Angel Grace and Guardian left the premises and regarded them with a small nod of his head.

He then approached the Violet Reaper and the male... Mrs. Pickles. "Hello there Violet Reaper." He said, lowering his head in respect for the higher ranking person. He then turned to the male whom he will now refer to as Mr. Pickles because he is now growing uncomfortable of his name. "And to you too, Mr. Pickles." He then stepped back and bowed, like one of tradition of where he came from. "Please accept my humblest apologies of my earlier behavior and of calling you a civilian. What you have done was exemplary of a hero... and quite ingenious too." He said before standing up straight and then smirking.
All these females.

All them potential waifus

Too bad my character's... uh... asexual (?)
@ERode

Hope [she] he is good.
And revised.

@CadenGallic

Yep, still here.
Good idea, that might work!

Yeah so I'll probably get a post of Shindo going on HQ for debriefing or something.
@SpookySquid

I can imagine Shindo going to Clarence and apologize profusely to him for suddenly disappearing on that first fight and calling him a 'civilian'.
@ERode

Stops amazing image-hunting as per request

Got it boss. 'Fraid I might be going for a particularly well-known character but let's see what you think when you see the sheet then. Without further ado, *runs back to complete sheet*
@ERode

Yo, preference on pictures used?
"Oh finally." He muttered to himself as he saw the gas station come into sight. He was quite relieved to see that he would finally be able to restock. Again, he doesn't like spending his rations that would only last a few days. If he could scavenge, then he would. He was about to step out of the alley and the sneak his way towards the gas station when someone already beat him to the punch. Though he couldn't hear it, from how the zombies around had reacted, the ringer of the gas station still worked and they were now heading towards the woman who had entered.

Oh no. That was bad.

This was really bad. That door wouldn't hold. Kiseki counted the zombies in the area and there were only two of them. One too much for him though. The dark haired male desperately looked for something, anything, to use to help the woman. It was rare to find another living, breathing human being who wasn't out for your flesh. And... and hey, maybe she could help him with finding Tanushi! But there wasn't anything he could do. He didn't have a weapon and all he was good for was running.

Running. He was good at running. In fact, he was the fastest in his team. Maybe he could distract them long enough and then lose them in the alleyway. That plan could work right? It should work. His whole body trembled with nervousness and fear. He could feel his entire body protesting with his wishes to save the woman. Doubts plagued his mind. Could he even save her? Could he survive if he wanted to save her?

"Come on Kiseki. You can do this." He muttered to himself in Japanese. He placed a quivering hand on the wall beside him and the other on top of his heart. He took a deep breath and then let it out. Believe in it. He could do this. He placed one foot in front of the other as he made their way towards the zombies. He looked around to check if there were any more incoming. No, there were none. He stopped and picked up a rock. Get their attention. He picked up several more and then began throwing it at one of the gas pumps to create sound. If he screamed here, more of the zombies would pop up. Hopefully this would be enough to get their attention.

And surely, it did. The two turned to him and then slowly walked towards him with the intent to eat him all up. Okay, what's next? Run. Run like your life depends on it. But wait, it did. Kiseki turned and ran into the alleyway and began making several turns while he was inside to lose them. Of course, he made sure that they followed him inside first before he made his move to lose them within the labyrinth made of concrete.
A Time of Turmoil

King Azure

Azure sighed in relief as the woman he was protecting had been taken away by a green haired girl. That was useful. He also took note of the others who had entered the fray. Myno, the yellow dragon he had become familiar with, was also there so it was safe to assume that this was Prince Jarde of Ereb's division. A small troupe, they said. Well, there was no use on observing the ones he will be meeting afterwards right now, as there were more important matters at hand.

He looked at a person who had decided to go and aid him. A girl, someone who looked form the foreign country of Iapana. She told him to get the girl to safety. "I see that one of your members already has that cover-" He was abruptly stopped when the Warrior screamed and then threw a dagger at Tomoe. In that instant, the Warrior managed to pick him up. Quite a fear, he would admit, as he knew that he was in no way light. Azure was then thrown towards Tomoe and then they crashed down together.

Azure let out a groan as he rolled himself off Tomoe and grabbed his sword. "Apologies. I was distracted." Azure admitted before using his sword to aid him to stand up quickly. He saw that the Warrior looked like he was ready to take the both of them on. Though when he saw that the other two (of his side) took position and then sent two arrows and a spell towards him, Azure decided to stay his hand but kept himself prepared just in case the Warrior survives such an onslaught of attacks. It surely looked devastating from where he was looking.

Myno

Seeing the soldiers scatter at the sight of a dragon and three summons, Myno sighed in relief. Less people to worry about. He then looked around. The problem with the Warrior seemed like it was going to be resolved and there were already four people against him. He trusted them enough. The woman King Azure was protecting had been retrieved by Nyx too - though he does think she's saving her for the wrong reasons, it still completed the objective.

He looked towards Eclisse who had been surrounded and was now weaponless. The tactician from earlier was already helping and was scattering the enemies with his Arcthunder. However, it was increasingly obvious that he wouldn't be able to get them all in quick succession so he decided to help out. Tapping into his natural fire inside his belly, he let out a fireball towards the soldiers furthest away from Eclisse so that she wouldn't be hurt by the explosion.
