Personality:Tigerfall had always been revered for his never-ending patience with them. He keeps a calm and cool exterior to everyone - especially his patients. He has been known to have a cold front whenever interacting with others as he seems detached to relationships and the likes, but he does have the ability to act kind. He has been known to be able to calm anyone down using only his words - all chosen carefully as to avoid the rising tensions. He always feels rather worried for every other cat, but tends to keep that to himself as he doesn't like showing that he actually feels that way in fear that people would not take him seriously as a result. Being "too soft" has its consequences, and he knew that even if he were patient, he would have to put a paw down to stop anyone from doing anything stupid.
As a Medicine Cat, he is both responsible and observant. He diligently restocks the supplies every time he feels that a certain herb is depleted (even though it is far from it) and he keeps emergency packs which he wraps in Beech Leaves that could be found around the borders. Of course, he also restocks these just in case one of the herbs goes bad. Since he has the job to make sure that every cat is healthy, he's a rather keen observer and he can pick up cues if someone else feels wrong - whether it be emotionally or physically. He's learned to read body languages and sudden changes in tone. It's hard to keep a secret from Tigerfall, especially if it would be detrimental to your health.
Outside of doing his job, however, Tigerfall is rather awkward though he would never admit it. He generally keeps anything he feels to himself since he doubts that anyone would want to hear the wailing of a cat who has no problems in the world - or so they think. He also has minor trust issues, even to his own clanmates but he tends to keep that at the back of his mind. These are most of the reasons why he keeps to himself, but isn't above going out to speak with one of the warriors or even the leader should he feel like it.
Brief History:Tigerfall had been born to Willowtail and Spotmoss with Willowtail being a direct descendant of one of the Ashclan cats who have died out before their time. It was a well known story how Ashclan cats sought refuge in Cliffclan - a clan who accepted every cat who needs help. One of them was Rainfur - a strong warrior with a heart of gold. He had been the ancestor of Tigerfall, and someone who often recurs in his visions. After giving birth to him, Lilykit and Dawnkit, Willowtail suffered complications and then died leaving Spotmoss to take care of their kits. He had grieved for the loss of his mate but knew he had to soldier on just like any other warrior.
He had done a great job, to be honest, for the first very few moons of their lives. By the time they were two moons old, Spotmoss had tragically died after badgers from the other territories decided to cross the border and they had to fight back. This left the three kits without parents. Yellowbranch, another Queen at that time, decided to take them in and teach them what she could, along with her own kit Coalkit. Tigerkit showed strong signs of being connected to what they had called 'Starclan', an idea that came from the now gone Ashclan. It was believed it was because he was a direct descendants of one of the more iconic warriors of the old clan and he had a connection to him which allowed them to share a special bond.
Tigerfall was taken in as an apprentice to the medicine cat,
Applefur, and he didn't really mind. Meanwhile, Lilykit became Lilypaw; Dawnkit became Dawnpaw; and Coalkit became Coalpaw - all under the warrior name. Tigerfall never really envied his siblings since he was more than happy to arrange all the medicine in the crevices and learn all about them. He had been quick about learning, and even quicker in applying, so much so that Applefur was impressed with his skills. He was soon named the official Medicine Cat and the others had gotten their warrior names.
Tragedy struck his family when certain news came to them. It first started with Yellowbranch dying. The four siblings grieved for the death of the one who brought them up. She had died after a certain walk near Lightclan. Dawnstrike, furious, went on to march towards the border and Lilybranch and Coalrunner had charged after him. Tigerfall wasn't sure of the details, but it went something like this - they didn't encounter a patrol from Lightclan, but rather they encountered dogs. The three fought to the best of their abilities but it left Lilybranch dead and Coalrunner severely injured. Dawnstrike carried Coalrunner back and Tigerfall and his mentor quickly attended to her wounds. The previous leader of Cliffclan got angry with Dawnstrike who, in turn, got angry back. Dawnstrike left not two days later and went rogue. Not soon after, Applefur had died - leaving only Tigerfall and Coalrunner as the remains of the family.
Ever since then, he had been more closed off than usual. He seems to still be a little suspicious of Lightclan and still worried for his brother, but he says nothing to anyone. Not even his adoptive sister - his only family left. He had taken in an apprentice, Softwillow, when he saw how enthusiastic she was about being a medicine cat - even though she begged for the position. He had recently discovered that she, also, has a strong connection with Starclan - a trait he shared with her. This made it much easier for him since he has someone to share his visions with. Having been present at Frogshade's birth of two kittens - Softwillow and an unnamed kitten - he knew of circumstances otherwise supposed to have been kept a secret. He views this to be a rather odd instance, but dismissed it as nothing provided that Frogshade was still loyal to the clan - which she was.
