Appearance: Baradiel, unlike most of his brethren who look youthful, takes the form of a middle-aged man with a well built physique. He has a mop of dark brown hair sitting atop his head which he rarely maintains unless they're meeting with some higher ups and he needs to actually look presentable. He has chocolate brown eyes that often expresses boredom more than anything else, but always seems to soften up when it comes to being with his charges - especially with Alice. His face, when he makes no effort, always has this bored look on his face that tells you that you shouldn't cross him or else you'd pay... even if he's just listing off some groceries he needs to buy for the peerage. He also has a scar on his right brow which he had gotten in a nasty fight with some rogue devils before.

Baradiel stands at a tall and imposing height of 6'3" and he always stands straight so he seems even taller. While you wouldn't say he is heavy built, you would definitely think that he lifts frequently to keep his body like that. His clothing seems to be a variation of semi-casual clothing, flannel, simple shirts and whatever he can buy that's cheap. He isn't one for dress up unless extremely needed.

Baradiel, as a Fallen Angel, has six black wings that he had carried over from his time as a warrior during the Great War. He typically doesn't show all six, instead using simply two to trick those around him. Baradiel very rarely uses his devil wings. If he decides to push himself, his brown hair turns ebony black and his brown eyes become violet - making it obvious that he keeps up the illusion to hide his identity.

Evil Piece: Bishop

Kouta - A beautiful white furred wolf. Kouta, as the others, appeared as a small version of a wolf. However, he is often allowed to roam around in normal size as long as he didn't bring harm to those that are part of the peerage. While he seems normal at first, Kouta has the ability to change his size at will - and has been shown to grow to the size of ten feet on all fours. It has been speculated that he can grow bigger.

He acts as a guard to Baradiel when he starts sniping. With sharp senses, it was hard to trick or sneak up to the wolf. Kouta also acts as transport for the peerage if they were too tired though seems to prefer having Alice as his rider, if not his master.

Magic:

Dark Light Generation: Like most of his fellow Fallen Angels, he can form nearly any form of weaponry and shields using dark light. Baradiel utilizes his in the form of bows and arrows, or even modern weaponry like guns - specifically sniper rifles. However, he isn't above using close ranged weaponry when he needs to.

Wings: As a Fallen Angel who can still access his wings, he is still able to harden his wings to act as a sort of shield for him or even as close combat blades. He can also send hardened feathers outwards to catch people off guard. While these are sharp and sometimes painful, they are easily seen and destroyed.

Cryokinesis: Baradiel, being the Angel of Hail and Ice, has mastery over this element. He often uses this in tandem with his Dark Light Generation - much like Baraqiel's Holy Lightning - creating a stronger damage input. However, it should be noted that he only uses these when he is in close combat or at least in mid-rage. It does not seem taht he is used to using this when he's sniping.

Hailstorm: Did you think he was kidding when he told you he could make hailstorms? Over a certain area, he can create a hailstorm that is damaging to anyone within that specific area. He only uses this when he is sure that he has no allies in that area, and that he had to make sure that he would hit at least three people or else it might be a waste of energy.

Lance Barrage: When Baradiel still has energy, he can use his special move of combining ice and light in forms of lances and then shooting it straight at the enemy. As he is doing this, he makes sure that each one hits.

Illusion: Baradiel knows minor illusion. Enough to shift the color of his hair and his eyes, but not enough to trick someone into thinking that something else is there. He doesn't seem to be too interested in honing this magic skill, but may be convinced to do so eventually.

Magical Light Resistance: Because of his usage of the Light as weaponry and his past, Baradiel has a natural resistance to Light as opposed to his fellow Devils. However, it can still harm him, but not as much as it would to a Lower-Class Devil.

Quick Learner: "Who said old dogs can't learn new tricks?" Baradiel has shown skill in learning various things so that he can be of better use to the peerage. Though he often tackles it with a thought of it being a hassle. Baradiel doesn't seem to be interested in learning more magic, however.

But perhaps it was because his control over himself had been linked to his creator - the want to please him was the only thing that stopped him from falling. It only took a nudge from the Fallen Angels to make Baradiel fall and thus another Fallen Angel was created.

Baradiel was loosely affiliated with the Grigori. He worked for them, but mostly hunts down other Fallen Angels who were trying to create more conflict within Earth which Azazel wasn't happy about. Baradiel doesn't seem to be too bothered with this and lived among the humans without a problem, now free from most restrictions when he was an Angel. His encoutners with these humans made him learn a lot of things. Certainly a lot better than watching them from up above.

After quite a long time, Baradiel bit off more than he could chew when he tracked down a group of Rogue Devils that was desecrating a church. As his own fight was nearing its end with him on the losing side, a devil peerage had come to also defeat the Rogue Devils, aiding the Fallen Angel. However, Baradiel succumbed to his wounds after the fight. Alice's father had decided to ressurect Baradiel as his Bishop, seeing the Fallen Angel's skill in battle. Originally thinking that Baradiel would be angry with this, Alice's father had set up precautions to keep Baradiel under check.

But he did not fight. Baradiel accepted his fate and became part of his peerage, much to his surprise. Baradiel frequently muses, happily, that he has gone through the three factions in his entire life. Baradiel served him loyally as well and did his best to impress. That's just how it was with the Fallen Angel turned Devil. Baradiel became a sort of secretary to Alice's father, as opposed to his second-in-command, the Queen.

Interestingly enough, Alice's father appointed Baradiel to another Devil - his own daughter. Baradiel then spent most of his time with the baby Alice to protect her. He was passed down like some form of family heirloom. However, Baradiel took care of the baby like it was his own child and was protective of her. He watched her grow up, until she obtained the Evil Pieces of her own. This allowed her to finally make the contract with Baradiel and he was then transferred officially to Alice's peerage. He continued to watch and care for Alice, as both her Bishop and her Guardian. He often helps her with whatever he can when she started to make her peerage grow.

Though he was most certainly surprised when Allocer, Alice's brother, and his wife decided to go on a vacation - leaving both areas in two entirely different continents to Alice. This caused the workload to practically double. Baradiel wonders what is going through Allocer's mind during this time, but he knew he could do nothing about it. And so, he continued to serve Alice and protect her from the dangers of this place.

Furitta looked at Serpentine with an unsure look. Was she doing this out of actual want to be popular or to catch Rogue Bat in the act of doing something villainous? It seems rather shallow if she meant to only get them into the press. Surely, at some point, the people would do that themselves. But, whatever, Furitta wasn't going to stop her from doing what she wanted. What was important was that they defeat the villain and as long as Serpentine could do her part, then they were all cool.

"I agree that we shouldn't rush in. Gas and close spaces don't exactly mix." She reasoned out to Serpentine, attempting to dissuade her from suddenly bursting in. She then nodded at Talon when he told her and Usagi to provide support and shoot off those bottles to avoid getting gassed. She waited near the entrance, but away from the real action.

Barristris looked at Rogue Bat and then nodded. Right, might as well get this over with. She kicked open the door and five bottles soon began to fly over towards the group - aiming to at least get the gas close enough for them to inhale.

But she made sure to roll two bottles towards them.

Barristris herself did not exit the building - having not been baited by the heroes outside.

Marvin is a ghoul through and through - complete with the wrinkled skin and he lack of hair and irises being black, but his pupil is hazel brown. After a certain incident, his nose is even more disfigured and bloody than his fellow ghouls. Hence, he wears a cloth that he wraps around his face to hide it as to allow others to feel more at ease around him - however that would work.

Marvin stands at a height of 6'1" and has a rather good physical body thanks to being a mercenary who travels a lot. You'd instantly recognize Marvin when you see the signature green coat with a hood and the wrap around his nose. Among his own brethren, Marvin actually doesn't stand out all that much. However, among the normal people, his raspy voice is enough to convince you that he is actually a ghoul.

Marvin has gone through decades of wandering in the wasteland that is now known as their world. Understandably, he's gotten used to everything and doesn't hesitate to do what he needs to do to survive. Of course, he still has some semblance of morality - but twisted to his own rules where not everyone might agree with it. That's just how it is with most people and Marvin doesn't regret the fact that he has gotten used to everything. It made it easier to move forward when someone dies or someone leaves him. Marvin doesn't easily attach with others, but a long time and more experiences with people can make him grow closer and make someone more important to him than the passing wastelander.

Despite all this, Marvin at first meeting is entirely different from what he feels inside. Marvin actually is probably one of the happier people you'd meet. He seems like the happy-go-lucky guy that wouldn't survive a day in the wasteland. He would belt off jokes, sarcastic and witty remarks every now and then. When it comes to interactions, sometimes he doesn't take it too seriously. Sometimes, Marvin comes off as an insesitive bloke mostly because he doesn't seem to find anything off-limits nowadays. He's seen a lot of stuff. He's gotten used to it. He often forgets that others may not have adjusted as well as him.

Marvin has gone through his fair share of losing his loved ones. He's nigh immortal after all, and human friends just don't live as long. So he becomes detached to other people. Yes, he interacts like they are friends - but he wouldn't hesitate to leave them out of fear that he may feel too attached and become emotionally hurt when they actually disappear or die. Marvin may also refuse to work with others who he sees are against his moral views, as he is very heavily tied to his morals even though it may not align with the lawful morals placed by the 'better' people of the world, but he is stubborn when it comes to follow his own rules.

Marvin has insomnia, and has it quite horrible. He often goes on days with only a few hours of sleep because of this. He can act like nothing is wrong because that's what he's good at. He's stubborn and would likely not take any form of concern from anyone. In the off-chance that he does fall asleep during the night, nightmares plague him from years of killing and betrayal, something he does not admit to anyone regardless of how close they were to him.

Born in the Commonwealth, but quickly travelled, Marvin doesn't have a hometown. He is a full-fledged mercenary who is currently affiliated with the Railroad, but not an agent specifically. He has been hired to do an agent's bidding. Though Marvin will not confirm, it has been speculated that he had worked for the scientists of Rivet City, multiple Vaults, the Enclave, the Children of Atom, the Minutemen, among many others.

Ah yes, Marvin's story is rather long. With a century and more worth of life, he's been through a lot though he often claims that it all just blurs into the usual events of shooting, hiding, attacking and what have you. Can you blame him? In the current world, there was no chance for a normal life. When you step out of safehouses, towns and what little city there could be, it's a warzone. Ferals, raiders, gunners, supermutants and your run on the mill mutated animals, they're all out to attack anything that is sentient. After the first few years travelling, Marvin just doesn't care anymore as he pulls the trigger on a feral ghoul that he once knew.

He can quite vividly remembered his 'first life' as he would call it. His pre-ghoul life. As the son of a caravan owner, it was understandable how he would know how to protect himself and his family and still have some knowledge when it comes to bartering. They travelled from place to place - from the Capital Wasteland to the Commonwealth. He didn't quite remember which place he's gone to first, and where last, but Marvin knows where to go when he needs help. For his 13th birthday, his mother had tailored him an all too big coat which he carries around but never wore because he didn't fit into it.

During his teenage years, they were jumped in the Capital Wasteland and Marvin had been the only one to escape as far as he knew. Crawling, injured and tired, to Megaton, he was taken in by one of the kind residents there. It had been a smaller town back then, but protected nonetheless. He spent quite a few years there, eventually growing into his coat, and getting used to life as a mercenary. Getting inovled with the Children of Atom had been one of his grevious mistakes, but one of those blessings in disguise as well. Desperate for caps, he took up on a mission given to him by the leader of the Children of Atom in Megaton. To retrieve a radioactive item from a radiated area.

Marvin had travelled to obtain the item. Mistakenly assuming that he could pass by with little Rad-X and Radaway, he succumbed quickly to the radiation. Though, instead of dying, he became a ghoul. Two days worth of radiation seeped in as he was passed out in the area. When he woke up, he quickly took the item and returned to Megaton. After he had given it and earned his caps, he left - ashamed that he had become a ghoul. Donning a mask before to hide his ghoul identity, he has worked closely with many factions in the Capital Wasteland as a freelance mercenary. After danger started to rise when the Brotherhood-Enclave fight got more and more intense, Marvin exited the fray.

He wasn't sure how many years it was, but he found himself with a Railroad agent who offered him caps to help them in some raids. He stuck with the group for many years, but never becoming an official agent. He typically had to wear his mask again when not interacting with the rogue synths so they won't fear him as he takes them across the border. Marvin has gained quite some infamy in the Commonwealth as a mercenary and people seek him out when they need something done. However, after a certain incident where he had to accompany a Railroad agent and a synth all the way to the Deadlands, he completely disappeared from the Commonwealth. Having been ordered to go with the Agent and being paid constantly, he decided not to refuse.

Marvin lived with the Railroad Agent - Emily - and the synth - X6-94 dubbed Gordon - in the Deadlands. Why were they there? Marvin was unsure what was brewing in Emily's mind as she brought the two there. They lived far away from the other living beings, and away from the heavy radiation for Emily's sake. She was absolutely convinced that there was something within The Necropolis. She tried, time and time again, to get someone inside and see what was in there. While she researched, Marvin and Gordon helped out with farming, cleaning and whatever else was needed for Emily to survive.

However, the group soon recieved a message from the mysterious "The Pariah" who asked for him, in name, to enter the Necropolis. Seeing opportunity, Emily convinced Marvin to accept.

Sewing: If you want something patched up, he's your guy. After feeling particularly attached to his coat, he always makes sure that he can mend it when the bullet grazes and rips it. He also has actually taken on jobs that involves sewing so long as he can find the materials to use.

Cooking: Can't survive out there without knowing how to cook the meat off of those Mole Rats. She's not an expert, but Marvin does know how to make a cooking area and then start roasting.

Instrumentalist: Marvin is surprisingly good at playing the harmonica, which he keeps on his person at all times. He also claims to be able to play the guitar but has left his possession in Emily and Gordon's cabin as it was too heavy to lug around. He also claims to know how to play the flute - but only knows the snake song.

Tracking: To compliment his job, he had to learn about tracking. He's rather good at it, as long as he can find any fresh tracks. Like most people, he knows the different between the footprints of Yao Guai, a Radstag and a Deathclaw.

Breaking in: Sometimes, you need to know your way around a computer and some locks. He only knows the basics though as he doesn't use it very often.

Marksman: Marvin is a skilled sniper which is preferred method of taking down targets. He is nearly constantly in a state of calmness when he's looking through the scope, allowing him to clear his mind and aim properly. He also isn't a bad shot when it comes to mid-range fighting.

Rfile Mastery: Marvin has been handling rifles ever since he could remember. He knows how to shoot, reload and maintain them well. This ranges from laser rifles to hunting rifles - so long as its a medium sized gun, he can most likely shoot it with the same kind of accuracy.

Stealth: As a sniper, Marvin knew how to keep an eye out for anything and anyone that could sneak up on him. This also gave him the ability of successfully sneaking around - creeping along the darkness to reach his destination or to obtain a vantage point.

Gun Knowledge: Marvin knows the basics of other weapons and while he can't use them to their full potential as he would with rifles, he at least has knowledge on how to use them temporarily.

Marvin's account about his coat

Marvin had taken out his marvelous sewing kit - which he had gone through hell and back to actually fill. He started to hum as he took out a needle and some green thread before grabbing his coat. Off to the side of the coat was a nasty cut which could be quickly mended and he knew it. He inserted the thread through the eye of the needle and began to sew.

"I still do not comprehend why you are still keeping that around." Gordon said as he and Emily entered the living room and saw Marvin sewing his coat back together. "It's useless."

"You wouldn't even get it weaved." Emily continued, just as confused as to Marvin's attachment to the coat as Gordon.

Marvin laughed as he looked up to his friends, placing both hands down on his lap. He then levelled his eyes to them. "You both have mothers don't you?"

Gordon gave him an unamused look. "Is that a joke?"

He shook his head at the synth. Sometimes, he can be just a little dim. "But you have memories of that you replaced, right?" Marvin pointed out.

"Well, yes." Gordon shook his head. "Is it important?"

Marvin nodded slowly. "Of course. Do you have a memento of your mother? A memory that you hold dear?"

"My mother gave me this paperweight before. It was a little beat-up, but I keep it around." Emily replied. As with most of the agents of the Railroad, Emily had tragically lost her parents before she entered the organization.

Gordon rubbed his arm. "I suppose the memory of my 'mother' making me food was something I cherish." He admitted.

Marvin smiled before looking down at his coat. "Well, just how the paperweight is to you, Emily, and your memory to you, Gordon, this coat reminds me of her. Feels like she's with me, protecting me." He said, eyes softening as he ran a hand through the old cloth. A hundred years of wearing it and he managed to maintain it so.

"Makes me feel safe y'know?" He looked up at them. While there was a lack of tears in his eyes, the emotion in his voice was real. "And honestly, that's all you could ask for nowadays."

Emily knelt down beside him and then patted his shoulder. "I get how you feel." She smiled at him and gave him a brief hug. "Do you want me to help you with that?"

That was when Marvin laughed once again as Emily leaned away from him. "I'm the best tailor out here. I don't need your help I assure you!"

Emily laughed and so did Gordon. The three sat around the living room, forgetting about research and farming for the moment, exchanging stories with each other.

Alex just let out a laugh when the Hag had replied to her. It was obvious that Alex wasn't going to change her perception of this... occupation. Something that was fun - risk of death be damned. Though, to be perfectly honest, she wasn't expecting Hikari to be so polite to the Light Magical Girl. Alex had her personal reasons. It did make her think why Hikari was a perfect partner for her, among their more... bloodthirsty clubmates.

To prove her point, Ami was quite angry with the Hag's presence as it attracted all the Nightmares to her. Though Alex paid her no heed as she approached the Twilight Knight from behind - providing covering fire for the Nightmares that were getting dangerously close to her. Shot after shot, Alex just simply absorbing any of the essence that she could obtain from her distance to the enemies.

Lightning crackled around her again as she let out another wave of it towards the left where the Nightmares were beginning to break through. She then heard metal striking against metal? Was that a duel? Ah, probably not important. So long as none of them got involved, they could focus on the horde of enemy before them.

That was when she turned back to check on their bait - but she had already headed over to a new area. "Rude." She muttered. That meant they had to move again. "She could just sit still." She grumbled, aiming at another Nightmare and letting loose two bullets. "But no, she just had to retreat. Great." She continued.

Alex placed herself behind Twilight Knight once more. "Hey so, she moved again. We could follow from behind the Horde, pick 'em off from behind 'cause it doesn't seem like she would stay still." She explained, giivng the girl the option to agree or disagree to the plan. Alex didn't want to just keep on leading the younger girl.

Ah, this is probably why they still think she still hadn't gotten over being a Light Magical Girl.

Though true that Rav was trying to get Seleth's attention for a moment there, he wasn't exactly paying attention to how she would respond to it. So the fact that she wasn't impressed or was utterly confused as to why he was doing his gesture was lost to the air as he looked away from her. He moved up the line, practically bouncing in his heels in excitement.

His ear twitched when he heard his name. Turning back to, oddly, Seleth of all people. But it seemed that someone else had joined her in the line. It was Alicia! Fellow student who keeps on trying in the tournament. Rav hadn't had the pleasure, or the horror, of facing her. He was thankful for that. She was gifted when it came to the magical talent. Though, honestly, there was someone else he'd rather not face.

"I guess he's going to register too. He always joins the tournament even if he couldn't get past half the other participants."

His tail stilled and then he suddenly shouted, "Hey, hey, like you're any better Alicia!" His tone wasn't angry though, it was more like he was joking as well. Rav didn't seem to care if there were so many other people who could hear him. It didn't matter to him really.

He then seemed to ease back as his tail released the tnesion it had earlier and dropped down, revealing that he was calmer. "Hope to see you get far in the tourney, Alicia, Seleth." Rav had come to understand that this year would be worse for them. Not only were they facing students, but outsiders as well. Trained magicians who have more experience than them.

Fair right? But he wasn't complaining. Studying them while they fight would be beneficial to them - to the students. Rav might learn a lot from them and he was looking forward to it. Besides, maybe this time, he might find a match. Now wouldn't that be a good match? Ooh, he was looking forward to the match-ups.

I've always been wanting to try out on a ghoul merc character. I'm not sure if I'm going for pre-war ghoul (maybe a hunter hence why he became a merc) or just a wastelander who turned ghoul after an incident involving the Children of Atom.
