Bio

Welcome to my Bio, random person. Yeah, my name is pretty redundant (Polaris - North Star, North... well north.)

Things you need to know about me?

I live in the Philippines. I'm a student and life gets a bit hectic so please understand if I suddenly become more sporadic when it comes to replies.

I'm involved in a lot of fandoms (mostly anime) and as long as it gets my interest, I'll join. My range is from free to casual [or well, as long as I can get it from the post I'm replying to]. I'm more of a fantasy kid than a slice of life but I think I can join something like that. I'm not much of a romance writer so I keep myself to PG-13 and not exceed anything else.

Via looked rather content with her quick work with the goblins, though frowned when she felt blood drop from her cheek. She didn't even feel it, unlike her injury from earlier which was worse. She spun her katana in her hand and watched as Amrec finished up with the last of the uninjured goblins.

Her gaze went to the ones who recovered from her attack earlier. Even if she aimed to kill them in one swift move, it didn't seem like that would happen. Shame really. She was ready to attack when she heard two heavy thumps on the ground. Amrec had discarded his weaponry and decided that fighting barehanded would be enough to dispatch these goblins.

Well, the goblins were sluggish in movement and Amrec's hard hits put them down all too quickly. She seemed to attract three goblins to her and they began scrambling towards her. While she would have wanted to seem more badass and let her weapon drop to the ground, she was not nearly as powerful as Amrec so no use doing that.

She moved to slash at the goblins but also making sure to keep herself open to dodging their attacks. They were slower, so she'd rather not get needlessly injured because of carelessness.

Might be a good time for them giant arachnids
Raviel Husk

Rav had always been pumped up for the Grand Academy Tournament. As an old student of Seraph Academy, he's always been drawn to the tourney and everything that came with it. More magic being thrown about and more people to study. Their top students had always been a wonder to Rav. Of course, he had joined the tournament the year before but failed to impress. But Rav - oh Rav - that didn't mean he would give up.

So he waited for the next tournament. And here it was. With its head nearing, some of his friends egged him to participate. Not that he needed them to tell him to do it. He loved the thrill of the battle - not for the sake of harm, but for the sake of the adrenaline. And to learn how to put his magic in practical use, instead of simple theoreticals that wouldn't help anyone. Let alone his tribe.

Though, before he went to the registration, he was stuck at the Royal Library. Seven books were piled up to the ground next to him as he flipped through the pages. He wasn't in any particular hurry. He needed to calm himself as well. His pent up energy was better wasted on learning instead of waiting around on a line and bouncing around.

"Not going to register?" One of his long time friends questioned as she approached the beastkin. She was a fellow beastkin, though she was a harpy - a Feathered One, if you will. He was surprised he didn't hear the clicking of her talons against the wood of the library floor, but he supposed he was too engrossed with the book he was reading.

He gave her a small smile as he closed the book. "I will." He then placed the book on the pile he had collected. "In fact, I'll head over there right now." Rav continued as he stood up.

"Excellent." She then flapped her wings and then tapped her talon onto the book and they began to float. "I'll bring these back. I look forward to your performance Rav." She whispered before heading around to take the books back.

"Many thanks."

Too bad, he wanted to stay longer. But nevermind that. He turned and then headed for the exit. Perhaps he should have gone out to a place that was further from the registration tents, but there was no choice now. He looked out of the windows of the Academy and spotted the tents not too far from them. A smirk playing on his lips, he closed his eyes and then began to chant. He could see a flash of bright light flash against his closed eyes and it remained there.

He opened them and he was outside, the buzz of the people beating against his ears. He wasn't sure if anyone heard him, but he frankly didn't care for now. Rav weaved through the people who were just there to scout who would be signing up and then lined up for registration.

He spotted a fellow student - multiple really - but this one stood out. Seleth - her friends often teased the fact that she was too arrogant for her own good. Ah, it was good that she was going to be in the battle too. But dang, Aylama forbid, she was his first opponent. He imagined he would be beaten within the first two minutes of the battle. But whatever, Rav gave her a thumbs up if she ever looked to his direction and then waited for his turn to register.
@Rockin Strings

I'm not exactly great at recruitment. I only know of putitng up another Interest Check for it and wait and see.

Alyssa stopped her singing when Jack had appeared, giving the man of blades a nod of acknowledgement. While she never spoke with anyone aside from Jensen and occassionally Blinky - whose language she apparently spoke, she was not the type of creature who would blatantly ignore the people her master worked with.

"Oh, good morning Jack. Looking sharp there." He greeted with a smile. He then nodded and then gestured for him to come forward. "I'd love for you to help." He then scratched his cheek. "I only made a few though so you can just add up." Jensen gave him a thumbs up. It was still going to take some time before he finished up with this, so it was fine. Besides, he enjoyed cooking with others. There was Nilin and Gemina too. It was fun whenever they made something together... well, once they convinced Gemina to allow them to use the kitchen.

Alyssa raised her head again, and this caught Jensen's attention as she stared at the stairs. Ah, there must be someone else coming. Well, it's breakfast after all and Jensen could understand if others wanted to eat too. They had a long day in front of them. Makes him think that pancakes won't last them. But well, oh well, he's prepping them now and there's no need to second guess himself.

When Myles came into view, Jensen gave him a cheery wave. "G'mornin Myles. Want any pancakes?" He offered. "They're not yet ready, but it will be soon!" He continued. Jensen had always liked Myles. If anything, it was because he was a cheerful guy in and out of the camera. It was an admirable trait - especially nowadays. He often remembered how excited Faye was when she heard that Myles joined SYNBAD. He was pretty sure that she would have jumped at the chance to take a picture with him had it not been for Jensen, who decided to not let her anywhere near Myles when she was so excited. "You look good man, good job!"

Jensen went back to paying attention to his pancakes. Ah, they were almost done. He practically flew towards one of the cabinets and got three plates and laid them down on the table near them. He then went back to the pan and was practically on auto-pilot. "Ah, I'm pretty excited for that parade thing. Might as well enjoy it even though they announced it through a note on the corkboard." He let out a light laugh.

He was not against Laura's way of doing things. It was more interesting that way for him. That or he just got used to it after so long. Ah, now he was remembering the times he called Laura 'Aunt Laura' because of his young age. She didn't scare him at all. Hanging around Viorel and Gemina whose faces are bound to keep that neutral, almost disappointed look, forever on their faces may have helped with training to face the girl. Her sudden interviews spiced up his off days and it always made him think he should work harder for SYNBAD to prove that he loved this place.

He prepared slid the pancake he was cooking onto the plate and prepared the next batch. Looks like Jensen wouldn't be eating until much later, but he'd rather have filled everyone's stomachs before he ate himself. He saw Alyssa start to fly and then sat down on his right shoulder again, but seemed to have a protective aura around her. "What's the matter girl?" He questioned but Alyssa didn't reply.

Knowing the fairy wouldn't reply once she got this way, Jensen continued to cook and place the pancakes on the plate. When he heard Chloe's compliment, he pumped his left hand upwards. "Thanks Chloe! Take one if you want. I think we have some butter and some syrup in the fridge." He wasn't exactly sure if they had the stock. Jensen couldn't remember who was in charge of shopping for the past week since it wasn't him, so he wasn't sure if they had any stock of butter and syrup but he certainly hoped so.

"More than ready." He turned around and adjusted his bowtie - the young man looking like a waiter more than anything, merely lacking a black sleeveless vest to complete the look. But he looked extremely confident in himself. "Looking good by the way Chloe."

Then soon enough, he turned back to his pancakes before another one bounded down. "Luka!" He cheered. There was something about the guy that gave Jensen energy. He always loved Luka and his partner Killer Queen. Luka was a cheery guy too - odd, but who wasn't? "Morning's been good! So far."

Nearly done with all the pancakes he had to cook as Jack was already helping him, Giovanni strode in. "Ey man!" He called out with a two fingered salute-wave. "Already making them man. Take your pick!" He gestured to the plates on the table. Jensen then stretched. Finally, he can eat soon. The heavenly smell of pancakes made him hungry and he couldn't wait.

Jensen finished up and then grabbed a plate. Then he heard the telltale signs of someone going down. Alrighty, there's enough pancakes for everybody so it was completely fine. When Nilin came into view, he opened his mouth and it hung open when he finally registered her. He placed his plate down and then clapped slowly. "Wow Nilin, you look absolutely breathtaking!" He complimented. His voice was full of admiration and wonder - like a younger brother looking up to his older sister as if she did something admirable. Frankly, she did and Jensen was more than impressed. Gods, Faye would love to see Nilin like this. "You're gonna leave everyone speechless with that look!" He gave her a grin and a thumbs up.

"Pancake?" He followed up, picking his plate up and then gesturing to the other one on the table.
Rick the Monferno

Rick practically gobbled up the rest of his sandwhich after that. He had a content look on his face as he leaned back on his bench. His smile seemed to falter with the news that the four pokemon wouldn't be staying long. He scratched his cheek. "That so? Well, I was hoping they would stay here for a while. Really puts the people at ease."

"By the way, Drip, we should head back. If the discussion earlier was really intense, don't you think they might need us? Injury aside, I should at least listen if something happens." Rick suggested. He wasn't one to sit tight after all, and he was pretty curious about this. And he wasn't exactly going to let go of the fact that there's something happening and he wants the info quickly.

If it was back, he wanted to know immediately. If his brother get involves in this, then he doesn't know what he will do. He needed to think about it now. Weird for him, but if someone else was in the equation, Rick wasn't going to hesitate to take the lead.

Alex was surprised just how many Magical Girls appeared. She had to take a step back - or well, multiple steps back - to assess the situation. Okay, so she could see her partner duking it out in close range. There were several blasts of what seems to be Wither's Decaying magic. Of course, there's the hotblooded fire user Ami. Rosemary arrived too. The rev of a motorcycle's engine coming closer confirmed Alex's suspicions that even Kanbaru - her gunslinging companion - had come.

She'd say there was enough Nightmares for every single one of them to cull but - "Oh crap!" Every hair on her body stood up in both fear and adrenaline as light beams narrowly missed her and killed some of the Nightmares that had snuck up behind her. She could practically hear the beat of her heart against her chest. She took a deep breath and calmed herself rather quickly. "Friendly fire guys!" She called out.

But... light? Surely none of her companions had that kind of power. Not anymore, of course. She remembered Hikari having something like that, but as a Dark Magical Girl, she controlled the darkness. So, that only meant one thing. She saw the Nightmares from behind the group turn and began to violently shuffle to the streets below.

"Twilight Knight!" She called out to her partner. "Looks like we have some bait! See you downside partner!" Alex stabbed two Nightmares that were still hanging around the rooftop. She scoped out who their bait was, their magical girl that still stuck to the light. Those innocent souls who still wished to protect. Ah, how kind.

But then she finally spotted the magical girl and a smirk appeared on her face. 'Oh, so now you appear?' Alex ran forward and then jumped forward. She swiped her left hand and let a wave of electricity flow towards the Nightmares. She landed near the familiar Magical Girl and pointed her gun at her. "Oi, oi, you shouldn't steal kills."

"Glad to see you back from the dead though. Even if you are too old for this." She stuck her tongue out at the older magical girl before charging forward and sent another wave of electricity - practically tackling the front of the wave of Nightmares heading for The Hag. She could see the other two magical girls heading towards The Hag, but she wasn't sure what they were planning. Whatever, there was plenty of Nightmares right here.

They should really partner up with those that still follow the light. Just place them in one place and let the Nightmares clamber over to them and slaughter. Honestly, they could just knock one out, bound them up to a telephone pole or light pole and see what happens.
<Snipped quote by Polaris North>

What, no jokes about that old bat still playing magical girlthe fact she should be too old for this?

Oh she'll save that for when they're done.
@AtomicNut

Ahhh, then Alex would probably recognize her. Though she'd probably just say 'hi' and then just go back to slaughtering Nightmares.

Ikazuchi Hiroko

Shrine - ???
Kaito's optimism brought a smile to Hiroko's face. Help others huh? What he did say about always getting beaten up did worry Hiroko, but then again, bullying was frequent. She could guess that this guy tried to stand up to face thugs or something. Ah the heroic souls of others. Hiroko just can't fathom how someone that knows he is physically weak could even think of standing up to others.

Shrugging to herself, she followed him back to the shrine. If he was carrying all that load, if something were to come to attack them, it certainly wouldn't spell good for them. She watched Kaito try to open up the door. Hiroko would have offered her help if Kaito didn't look so focused on doing it by hismelf. After a few agonizing seconds, Kaito managed to open it up.

Hiroko didn't seem to react to Kaito saying that he has superpowers. She grabbed some of the firewood and then placed it on the free area, also unaware of the fight between Izuna and Toshinari. Grabing her lighter and a piece of paper from her bag, she lit it up and then placed it under the formed firewood. "Admittedly, I have no idea how to make fire." She said honestly. "So if this doesn't work, you all cannot blame me."

She then sat down beside the firewood, waiting for the fire to eat the wood - undisturbed by the fact that there are some cobwebs here and there.
