Current Projects/Freelance work

  • I am a voice talent and script writer for Faerun History
  • I have a much smaller personal Youtube channel that I use to make videos on various subjects. Only been making videos for 2 years, but it's growing!
  • I'm the host of a Science Fiction & Fantasy Podcast where I interview authors of the genre.

Interests (Includes but is not limited to)

  • Writing/Reading (Love writing and I own too many books)
  • Video Games (Been a gamer for close to 23 years now)
  • Working Out/Martial Arts (Wing Chun/Oyama Karate mostly. Some historical swordplay as well.)
  • History (Military History is my specialty)
  • Zoology
  • Art (Mostly Illustrations. Used to be good. Am picking it back up)
  • Voice Acting/Singing
  • Tabletop Gaming (Started late in the game. Been at it for 3 years. I was the kid who bought the monster manuals and D&D books just for the lore for the longest time. I've played 3.5e, 5e, Star Wars D20, Edge of the Empire, PF, and PF2.)
  • Weaponry of all kinds
  • Anime (mostly action/shonen. DBZ & YYH being my favorites)
  • Movies (Action/War/Drama films being my go-to)
  • Music (Rock of all kinds, as well as historical folk songs, sea shanties, pub songs, a bit of classical music, etc)
  • Guitar (am learning to play, but being left handed makes it challenging)
  • There's more but if you care enough you can PM me :P

Roleplay F.A.Q.

  • Fantasy, Sci Fi, and Historical are my genres. Fantasy being my favorite and Sci Fi/Historical being close seconds.
  • Advanced / Nation / 1x1 / Casual (only in certain circumstances)
  • I generally write at the 'Advanced Level' meaning 4+ Paragraphs with good grammar.
  • I am usually busy with many projects and RPs, but if you wish to do a 1x1 with me, you'll need to present your case. Those I already do it with have my trust as a Roleplayer.
  • I love many, many fictional universes so me trying to list them all is an effort in futility!

Calanon (& Brogach)

Location:Beside the Cave
Interacting with: Those working around the fire, Gretchin

Calanon watched his friends begin to prepare their meal, wondering what he could do to contribute. Back in the villages he had used to patrol about, many of the townsfolk would insist that he not do a thing and wait for them to have the food ready, though sometimes he wished to help and cut meat and vegetables for them. He never enjoyed sitting back and having others do work for him, even if the townsfolk often rationalized it with him already being the one to risk his life in the wilds.

As he contemplated on what to do, a movement to the side caught his eye and he turned his head to see Gretchin approaching him. His gaze met her striking blue eyes, and he smiled to her. He couldn't quite pinpoint it, but there was something different about her, he guessed. Perhaps the music truly did effect her greatly. Either way, it warmed his heart to see her like that.

"It's a fine feast indeed." He agreed with a chuckle, and then nodded at her following words. "I'd like that." He lifted himself up to his feet, dusting the excess dust and dirt off his knees and rump with a few brushes of his hands, before placing his palms on his hips as he looked around. His chest broadening a bit as he breathed in deeply and focused inwardly.

"I wonder what it is we could do though..." The Elf's voice trailed off, his right hand now reaching his chin and his left supporting the opposite elbow. Suddenly his midnight eyes glinted with an idea. "This Orc settlement here means there must be fresh water nearby. How about we go and fill everyone's water bottles for the feast?" he asked her. His grin was nothing if not fun-loving. "A river should not be too hard to find, and I would enjoy stretching my legs. Does that sound good to you?"
I suppose I could be an Adeptus Arbites.
@Dragoknighte I could very well be mistaken if Lady A said something happened to it, but Calanon already made a fire when they first got there.

Edit: Though I guess getting more would always be of help, if that was what you were trying to do. If so, my bad bud.
It seems like a lot of y'all are doing that, I appreciate you trying to do better though.
If it keeps up the next 2-3 weeks I might think y'all aren't interested anymore. Just please guys, try doing it once a week (unless you're waiting on another post. Then tag that person)
YES! I'M FREE THURSDAY NIGHTS!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I'd love to be either a Space Wolf, Black Templar, Imperial Fists, or Salamander <.<
I'll get a Dax post in there in the next day or two, my friends.
Thurin Stoutarm

Thurin rode upon his horse, gazing around the forest with a practiced eye as he did so. He grumbled every now and then, making sure he was speaking in the mannish tongue and not his native (and ever secretive) Khuzdul. He wasn't entirely certain if this newcomer was some apparition from the wilds, but he dismissed that thought process. Sorcery did not work that way, he was certain. He'd seen enough of Ofnir's and Gandalf's tricks to know that much.

Then again...he had to agree with Lyanna's statement when they found the steaming pool of water amidst the lush green of the Oasis in the middle of the frozen north. "It seems far too convenient." he said aloud. "But then again, I am not one to pass up good fortune, as long as it is trustworthy." He dismounted Leonard the Horse (he always had difficulty with that) and set his waterskin in the pool to refill it, taking a chug before refilling it once more.
He mirrored her sad smile as she left, allowing them to go before being escorted out of the mansion himself by the Governor's servants. He found himself upon the dirt streets of Port Royale, a place befitting his station as usual. He let out a sigh, and then headed back to his smithy. The streets were riddled with commoners and livestock, while Red Coats marched about with a sense of purpose that Will knew he himself felt smithing or practicing his sword. He was just getting back...
