Power Rangers: Strike Force

@KoukiThere are no dumb questions. There are, however, questions with obvious answers. This isn't one of them, so good on you for asking. :P

New Earth was completely subjugated by the end of Galatec's first year occupying the planet. There were those that didn't trust them at first (as there always will be) and there are small pockets of resistance here and there. However, they are completely ineffective and incapable of fighting back. Also, Galatec _does_ have a military presence. The foot soldiers I mentioned before, called the "Githkin." A race that was subjugated and enslaved long ago, they are force-grown in mass cloning chambers and reach maturity in just under three days. These foot soldiers are stronger than the normal PR foot soldier and _will_ kick your ass unmorphed, and they _will_ give you a run for your money even when you are morphed.

In other news, working on the main OOC right now. Still a ways to go. I'll be able to dedicate more time to it when I'm not at work.

@Kouki It isn't made, but I have the idea of what I'll get written out. It'll have 2 parts. The first part will be a basic sheet for all characters, then there will be an add-on for different types (a ranger add on and villain add on, mostly).

@WindsOfFate I need a character sheet that I consider good enough to give me faith that you can pull off the role you apply for. Once sign-ups are officially open, that is.

Another detail for everyone to note: The players that are given the role of main villain and mentor I will be working most closely with. My role as GM will be primarily dropping news, hints, discoveries, and macguffins for those two to act upon.

My plan is to get that up in the next 2-5 days. Wade Wilson already made a fantastic logo/graphic, and I've got my roommate/best friend working on a sample image of the basic suit design.

@SoleAccord I'm glad you noticed that about the morality of this story. That was very much on purpose. I did say from the beginning that this was to be a more mature Power Rangers than your normal fare. I'll go ahead and answer all your questions in the order provided

1) This will take place in multiple cities and colonies across the planet. The team will be doing what it can to incite uprising wherever possible. They will not always win.

2) Both. Some people will be inspired, others will believe in Galatec's smear campaign. Sometimes the team may have to go out of their way to avoid civilian conflict.

3) Yes, merchandise for past teams can exist, though Galatec will remove it if found.

4) Power Rangers are remembered in the same way we would remember George Washington or Ghengis Kahn. History that happened a long time ago nobody has any relation to anymore. They are more legends or myths, and the more hopeful and independent slaves believe that the heroes of legend will show up once again to free them.

5) Yes. In fact I would say it's even likely.

6) Special training is allowed for certain slaves that show above and beyond loyalty and work ethic. To most commoners, no. To certain ones they trust, yes.

Additionally, the additives, special lighting, and other brainwashing methods employed by Galatec are not 100%. Approximately.5% of the population are, for one reason or another, immune. That's the portion of society our rangers come from.

@SgtEasyYou mentioned setting up future relationships between my character and yours, right? If they haven't met yet, I'd prefer to see how they interact with one another upon their first meeting. After all, we can't predict what the circumstances and situations will be, and that first impression is very important. I'm happy to see if we can come up with something wherein they've already met before, though. :)
