Jun-Seo Kim

"The universe works in mysterious ways"

Name: Jun-Seo Kim // Jun
Gender Male
Age: 20
Alignment: The Guild
Rank within Organisation: Recruit

Birthmark Shape:
Location of Birthmark: About the size of a golf ball, on the inner side of his right ankle.
Magical Abilities: Geokinesis: Jun-Seo can manipulate/shape earthen elements in any form i.e. rocks, sand, dust, mud, dirt/soil. He can create constructs from earthen elements, and cause earthquakes, rock-slides, or any other type of earth related natural disasters, through the manipulation of earthen elements, the range of such disasters reaching a maximum of a 50 meter radius from him.

Place of Birth: Busan, South Korea
Currently Residing: New York, New York
Personality: Jun-Seo is very laid back and easy going, even to the extent where he seems lazy and irresponsible, which he quite often is. He prefers to go-with-the-flow, and strongly believes that everything that happens is fate. He doesn't like conflict, and prefers to avoid it at all costs; he is much happier when people talk things out civilly, rather than resulting to violence. In saying that, he is by no means a push over, and can easily hold his own in a fight if it comes to that. Jun is very open-minded and accepting of other people's advice and opinions, and likes to make sure everyone is heard and included. He doesn't have much of a temper, but when he is angry, it is best to stare clear.
History/Bio: Jun-Seo lived happily with his mother, father, and three sisters. He was the youngest of the Kim children, but being the only son, a lot of responsibility fell on his shoulders. Should anything happen to his father, he would have to step up and become the man of the house. But he had no interest in any of that, he didn't even care that he would be the one to inherit his father's pharmaceutical business. Any, or even all, of his sister's would be just as -if not more- capable of taking care of the business and the family when it came down to it, all Jun-Seo wanted was to be free.

An opportunity for freedom would one day present itself in the form of an overseas scholarship, one that Jun-Seo would not easily pass up. Unfortunately, his father was able to use his wealth and connections to block his son from receiving the scholarship, but he wasn't going to let that stop him. Even if he wasn't able to study, he wanted nothing more than to get as far away from his family as possible. So at 16 he dropped out of school and got himself a couple of jobs, so he was able to move out of his family home, and start putting aside some money to move to America. Three years later, Jun-Seo bought himself a ticket to New York, using the rest of the money he had saved to rent out a cheap little apartment for himself until he could find a new job and find himself somewhere better to live. In order to fit in more, Jun-Seo decided to shorten his name to Jun.

It wasn't long before Jun found out just how difficult living in America was going to be, especially with no help from his family. Fortunately he managed to land himself a job as a waiter at a local restaurant. The pay wasn't anything great, but it was better than nothing. It was through his job that he met a guy named Kyle, who also worked as a waiter at the restaurant. The two of them became quick friends, and eventually ended up moving in together.

From this new friend, Jun was introduced to marijuana. He was hesitant to try it at first, but Kyle assured him it was safe, that along with the fact that he could get it for a discount on account of Kyle's cousin being the dealer, was enough to convince him to try it. A part of him felt guilty, knowing that the possession of the drug was illegal, but as long as he didn't have to participate in the growing or distributing of it, it wasn't so bad. Cannabis wasn't the only thing Jun would discover thanks to Kyle. As it turns out Kyle was also a member of The Guild, and after discovering that Jun was also a mage, he started to teach him how to use his magic, and after much persuading, finally convinced him to join The Guild.

If Aliira comes back poor Lana is going to have to deal with both her and Willow if Aloysius and Salem get into a fight...
Just gonna, leave this here.
I'm not sure if I should bring Nicola back tbh. Emily is definitely coming along though haha

Lana Arlene Ryder

"I wouldn't change who I am or what I can do for anything."

Name: Lana Arlene Ryder
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Alignment: Dark Shadow
Rank within Organisation: Second in Command

Birthmark Shape:

Location of Birthmark: Her birthmark resides on her left shoulder blade, and is approximately 57mm long, and 44.5mm in diameter through the widest part.
Magical Abilities: Telekinesis - The ability to move/manipulate/control objects and matter, and create physical constructs of telekinetic energy, to an advanced degree.

Place of Birth: Forks, Washington
Currently Residing: New York City
Personality: Lana has always been a lose cannon when it comes to her emotions, even as a child, but it became notably worse after the loss of her twin bother. She is prone to unpredictable mood swings, the worst of which being her anger. Though her mood swings are unpredictable, they do often require some level of provocation to trigger them. It is difficult to tell just what will set her off, however, so most people tend to avoid her. She is known to be exceptionally sensitive to any mention of her "condition" or her family -especially her brother- but there is no way to be sure what kind of reaction one would get from mentioning either of those things. Otherwise, Lana is a reasonably laid back person, with a somewhat cynical outlook on life and a sarcastic sense of humor.
History/Bio: Lana was born in Forks, Washington as the youngest of a set of twins, to two loving parents. Her family didn't live in the lap of luxury, but her and her brother had everything they could possibly need. Unlike her, her brother Liam wasn't born with a birthmark, and as such he possessed no magical powers. It wasn't until she turned twelve that her powers would manifest themselves, though.

Her parents had always worried about her ability to handle being around other people, especially in a school environment, due to her unstable emotional condition, but she seemed to cope quite well as long as her brother was around. So when she turned eight they finally allowed her to attend public school. For the first few years, everything had been going well. Lana had been known to get into a few fights, and cause a bit of trouble, but it wasn't anything serious. Then, along came Bryan Mathers. Day after day Bryan would harass and torment Lana for no apparent reason other than the sick sense of amusement it brought him. Her brother did his best to stand up for her, but he was no match for the other boy.

Having to watch her brother get beaten just for trying to defend her, as well as trying to keep a lid on her explosive temper, would soon prove to be too much for the young girl. One day, not long after her twelfth birthday, Lana was sitting down to lunch with her brother and only friend. The two of them had opted for sitting out in the field, under a tree near the back of the school, to eat their lunch and avoid the other kids. It had worked for awhile, until Bryan -who seemed to be obsessed with the two of them- tracked them down one day. As usual he began to torment Lana, until her brother got up to defend her. He was no match for him though, and soon Bryan had her brother on the ground and was wailing into him. It didn't take long before the poor girl finally lost it and sent him flying across the field and into another tree that was nearby. She hadn't meant for it to happen, she just wanted him to stop hurting her brother.

Bryan hit the tree with a loud thud. The impact was enough to kill him instantly with blunt force trauma to the back of the head, as well as a broken spine. Although everyone assumed the boy had died from falling out of the tree, Lana, her brother, and her parents knew the real story. Her parents decided it would be best if they moved out of state, and decided to settle down in New York. After that incident, both Lana and Liam were forbidden from being out in public alone, and were both home schooled, so as to avoid another incident like that happening again. Their parents also managed to track down an experienced magic user to help Lana develop control over her powers.

When she turned eighteen, it was suggested from her tutor that she be allowed to socialize again. The woman claimed that learning to control her powers would only solve half of the problem. It took a lot of convincing, but her parents eventually gave in. She wouldn't be attending school, or working, but she would be allowed to go out every now and then, but only when she was accompanied by her brother. As fate would have it, this only opened them up for more tragedy. One night when the twins were out at their local convenience store, a group of young thugs were looking for some fun and decided to make some money. They took the store by gunpoint and robbed it for all the money it had. The guns were only meant to be for show, to make sure no one tried anything stupid, but when one man tried to be a hero, chaos soon ensued, and Liam -as well as the man who tried to play hero- ended up getting shot and killed.

By the time the cops had arrived, the only two left at the scene were a dead Liam, and a distraught Lana, holding her brother in her arms. The case was investigated for a few months, but no leads were found and it was soon dropped. Lana wouldn't accept that though, and started an investigation of her own. It took the remaining half of that year before she found the men responsible for her brother's death, but when she did, she made sure they suffered a long and painful death. Much like the investigation on the robbery, no lead into the five mysterious murders were found. Thanks to her powers, Lana was able to deal with those men without leaving a single trace behind. Just in case, she still went into hiding, though. Eventually she would stumble across the organization known as "Dark Shadow". After four years of being in their service, Lana would eventually work her way up through the ranks to take her place as Second in Command.

I know some of you are going to hate me for this (and I don't care) but I think I'm going to close this. Why? It was kind of a spur of the moment thing that fizzed out inspiration-wise pretty quickly for me, and I don't think I'm ready to run the RP atm. So I think it's best that I close it before writing a post become a total chore.

It's a shame, because I really liked the idea, but I can understand. Not ill-feelings on my part. Also sorry I went totally MIA.
Sorry, I know I said I would post, but things are getting a little hectic with the holiday season etc..
