Current Man, I remember those last few statuses sounding funnier when I was writing them... Is this what aging does to people?

I eat negativity and shit out hopes and dreams. Like a tree, but for pessimism.

Good news, I'm not failing out of my cooking course tomorrow! Bad news, it's only because I nearly sliced a chunk off my finger practicing for it and needed stitches.

It's days like today that I truly believe this ADHD is both a blessing AND a curse.

By the way, let's separate this whole thing into episodes, just for funzies and because I have too many dumb quotes to use as names.
Al just stared for a moment, unsure of how to respond to that. Seriously, did she actually just say that?

"What." He said finally. "No. Why. That's a-... What."

He shook his head, trying to get his thoughts in order so he could explain his... let's go with concerns... properly.

"Alright sis, let's take a break for a second here and think about this logically." He said, his voice struggling to remain steady. "So these guys, this pair, this random idiot and his sick brother, break into our house, blame us for it, shows a complete and utter lack of any intelligence, blames us, tells us our parents ar-... missing... pushes a small table in front of the door he broke down, cooks dinner and, and I can't emphasise this enough, blames us! And for some reason, we're not only not telling him to fuck off, we're leaving a possible safe place to wait this thing out to wander across a continent in the process of collapsing with him... Now are you absolutely sure this is the plan we wanna go with?"

As if to emphasise Al's doubts, Giovanni exited the room at that exact moment, looking at the two as he went to get the bottle of water for his brother.

"Cat, Imp, stop gossiping and go to the room, before your food gets cold. You're eating it even if it does, so I don't wanna hear you brats complaining about it."

And then he continued down the stairs, leaving Al to point frantically in his direction.

"Ya see?!" He said, unable to keep the frustration out of his voice anymore. "I don't wanna go anywhere with that jackass!"

Jeremy hummed in thought as he watched the people in the diner from the kitchen, marvelling at just how little self awareness some of them had. I mean seriously, who the hell even wears google glasses? They're essentially a worse version of the iphone, and they also make you look like a pretentious idiot!

Still, despite his amusement at the poor bastard, he wouldn't say anything. He liked cooking, and he liked having money. Therefore, it probably wouldn't be a good idea to actively drive away customers. Although honestly, even if that wasn't the case, his sister would more than likely have his head on a pike if he did, so it was really just a bad idea all around.

And then he looked up just in time to see the same man tear all the missing posters off the cork board, and suddenly he didn't quite care about those other things anymore. Quickly washing his hands, he made got out of the kitchen just in time to see Googleglass ask another patron if he was in line, opening up a bunch of fun avenues for... let's just go with 'conversation starters'.

"Well, I don't quite know about him, but I can tell you right now that you're not." He said, trying to remain straight faced. After all, he was at work! He needed to remain professional, even while telling this disgusting hipster that he wasn't welcome.

"I can't help but notice you tore down all those missing posters. Unless you put them all back up, and tell me why what you did was wrong so I know you've learnt from your mistakes, I'm going to have to ask you to leave."

Honestly, at this point, he wasn't sure if he was more amused or angry at the man, but surely time, and more specifically his reaction, would help him figure it out. Of course, anger might just win anyway, considering he could still see Adrien's poster sticking out of the bin. Before he could lose his temper, he turned to the other man, who stood well above the first and, considering he'd been looking at the posters too, probably felt similarly to Jeremy.

"So normally I wouldn't be out here, but while I am, what can I get you?"

Alright cool, thanks!
Oh, also, what's the thoughts on making a new species or two?
@Commodore
Would of I could, but my computers been broken or about two years now, hence why I make all my posts on my phone, and said phone just won't let me download discord, along with many other apps, for some reason.
So I'm looking at this and it looks fun, but I've gotta ask this just in case, what's the opinion on mechs? Because I already have a mercenary based nation from an older, deader RP I'm thinking of using, but a big part of their story and military revolves around cool mechs. If mechs aren't a fit, then I might just go with space orcs, but the friendlier version. Like Elder Scrolls orcs, not Warhammer ones.
You know, it might just be because I'm excited for Kingdom Hearts 3, but I'm beginning to get a bit of a Terra vibe from Ffamran. Hell, he even has a Xehanort in the form of Dizarach!

Maybe I'll have him go with that good old "Light and Darkness are two sides of the same coin, and falling to either can endanger the world." philosophy...
"Hey hey, what're you doing?" Joe asked, his concerned expression growing a little heavier when Nino pushed the food away. "Don't stop eating. This is the best we'll get for a while, so you need to eat this."

He sighed, placing a hand on his stepbrothers shoulder.

"Listen, if you're not eating because you're worried about getting sick or something, don't be. Just think how much sicker you might get if your body doesn't have enough nutrients. And if that's why you're worried about the water, don't be. They had some bottled water in the fridge."

Meanwhile, Al stared suspiciously at his sister.

"Yeah, I'm gonna go with not." He said. "I'd much rather think that you've suddenly gotten good at cooking than that that idiot ever was."

Still, he ended up stepping out of the room, glaring down at the dash as if it had insulted him.

"Anyway, whaddaya even mean by this being the last decent meal for a while?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. "Its not like he gets to stay and we have to leave, just kick him out and we'll hunker down! Hell, his brother can even stay, so long as he stays quiet!"
