Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

But some of the characters are just normal people that happen to be dead. On the other end of the spectrum, we have Kitty. XD

speaking of which UE, we should have an overarching plot villain soon. What do you think?

Er... how much work will have to go in to keeping any villain well away from Kitty? :p
I'm not allowed to give them all the mechadendrites, am I? Or, at least, all of those in the Dark Heresy/Rogue Trader books (ballistics, medicae, utility, general, optical, and one that's really more of a heavy lifting crane arm thing). HANDS ARE GOOD FOR ONLY AXES. Because then they would have 8 arms and I would be forced to call them something to do with eight arms and arachnids. XD
I am, uh, trying to think of names that do not involve the number 8 in any way.

*Flails* I apologize for not posting all week. Things have been busy! I'll have a post up tonight.

Well, at least you're still around. ^^;
The stir gave Hikaru the opportunity he had so sought: to lecture the teacher on his endless, dry lectures. The first few times they'd been bearable, since he'd at least managed to vary the contents a little. Since then, however, it had become steadily less and less informative, to the point that he could probably have asked any member of the class to lecture in his stead. It was boring.

Finally, and pleasingly, something had interrupted the man so Hikaru could say exactly what was on everyone's minds! Okay, so it was a NERV van... but that could wait, if they'd parked outside it wasn't like they had all that many other places to go.

From the perspective of the class, the resident heterochromatic girl--Hikaru was so used to being treated as female that he hadn't even though to correct anyone (or, for that matter, the lazily-completed records the school kept)--had just leapt onto the table, too.

"Enough is enough! No more lectures on Second Impact, sensei: we all know what Second Impact was, when it happened, how many people died, how people died, the response of the nations of the world: everything except how to cause it. You go on and on about how we're the future, but spend more time talking about the disaster than preparing us for anything! Second Impact is not relevant for today's Maths lesson--nor yesterday's English, or Classical Literature from the day before. Set a test on it, let everyone get 100%, and stop talking about it!

"Second Impact is in the past, let the lectures join them!"
tl;dr. :P

Too busy doing other stuff to read that backstory right now (why yes, I did just realise that there were posts I hadn't read). XD

Though glad the bishie sparkle needs contact.

Techpreists can sometimes be in an Inquisitor's entourage, actually, so that could work, at the GM's discretion, of course. Really depends on if we're being an Inquisitor's group, or vanilla Imperial Guard.I'm linking you to It's helped me a ton when I've needed to brush up on something.

Techpriests are everywhere. Where there are machines, there are techpriests. XD
This is not either of those you mentioned, but would a techpriest be acceptable? It's not like there wouldn't have been at least one on the ship.
