Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

Speak for yourselves, I'm still in uni. Not sure how this leads to regulated bedtimes. :p

Aww, you paired Kotone with someone that won't care she's Yakuza? XD

Speaking of: I claim room number 4 because of being inauspicious! >.> <.<

In the UK.
There wouldn't be an argument if you'd listen to valid criticism. You're going from a virus-type vermin to gilded crap... okay, that's apparently in one of the games somewhere, and vermin -> filth makes sense. You're then going 'piece of crap to ice-power vaccine lion' because... they have the same colour. And because of one story containing a lion and a mouse (the same can be said for mice and cats, mice and elephants, mice and dogs, mice and people, mice and birds...)
Sunshine said There are cannon lines that make much less sense and are much less aesthetically pleasing than mine.

Going to disagree on the 'aesthetically pleasing' front.
"September Thorburn," September Thorburn said. Her attention appeared to be off of the other people in the carriage and onto her hair... which rapidly darkened to black, whilst her eyes shifted to golden rather than the eerie red of beforehand. She scooped up Antoinette and shuffled to make room for Mary, whilst looking at the other people in the compartment. So, one was at least a half-blood. Better than nothing, she supposed.

"Ye're a muggleborn, ye're a half-blood... an' the rest o' ye?" the metamorphmagus questioned, indicating the correct two. There was no point in giving her parents' professions; only one other person would even know what her mother did, and she didn't want to search through muggle terminology for it.
... still don't think that line makes the slightest bit of sense. Ice would describe a diamond, and the story doesn't suggest that sort of link at all. Especially not a mouse becoming a lion via becoming a pile of crap beforehand. >_>

What's under that mask, anyway?
It doesn't want to take over the universe but it also doesn't want people to have free reign to mess with worlds as they please.
I have no idea what Kotone shall be doing or who she'll be with! XD
Worst possible room assignment: Kotone + Rika
Same character, more detail! Also not written when I'm tired. >_>;

  • Photo of Student: Kotone and her previous uniform. Meanwhile, the single biggest reason she does her level best to avoid swimming like the plague, and change for PE where nobody can see--she might present a cool front, but the constant stares and apprehension do her no favours.
Out of all the student body, Kotone is one of the very tallest, being in the top ten. This really doesn't help the thuggish reputation she's gained without ever doing anything.

  • Name: Shinobu Kotone (family, first)

  • Age: 17

  • Year: Second

  • Student Academic History: Kotone's father is a Yakuza boss--and not some small-time crook, either. This, consequently, explains why she's had rather a lot of trouble retaining any friends since Junior High, when hiding her affiliations began to be more or less impossible. Her perceptions of people at large have become rather negative since then, and Kotone's own façade has become one of complete emotional isolation; simply put, the Yakuza heiress is cold as hell to more or less everyone. Ironically, the time this freed up for academic pursuits inclines strangers towards a good view of her before the rumour mill gets to work: smart, sophisticated, and aloof.
Because of exactly how few she has, the tall girl is incredibly loyal towards her friends--and easily manipulated for your own profit if you can get close enough. Naturally, there aren't all that many people who are both willing to befriend someone of such poor reputation and risk their own relationships for it.

  • Extra-Curricular Activities: AIkido and the Art Club, with more emphasis put on the former--even though she enjoys art more, it would be rather letting her family down to slack off.

  • Favourite Subject: Art.

  • Hobbies/Interests: Foreign music--mostly rock and metal, and with much less emphasis on lighter genres--is probably Kotone's favourite hobby, to the point she tries to actually see any concerts that fall outside of school terms. She also has considerable interest in vehicles... though not so much in how they work, and most definitely not the normal consumer market. She's also a fan of karaoke, not that she generally has anyone to go with.

  • Dislikes: Allowing Kotone to choose her own meals is a very bad idea--it will end up heavy on dessert, and extremely light on vegetables and spices. She likes sweet foods, and outright hates anything bitter or spicy, and refuses to eat them if company is permitting. She's also understandably touchy about people betraying her trust, nowadays.
And she very much sucks at literature.

  • Extra: Her available funds are effectively limitless for school purposes, unless they get to the point her father would actually take note of the expenditure. So, consumer goods of all descriptions are fine--vehicles, however, not so much.

Guh! I am never going to sleep again! O.O So many posts to read, but the good news is YESH!!! My chary got accepted!! \m/ ^0^ \m/ As for roommates, Tohru is cool with anyone, unless they strongly dislike having Master of Puppets blared in their faces and cigarette smoke.

I have a Yakuza princess with... an interest in foreign music. And I was thinking of metal at the time... XD

I think this cast has a bizarre amount of artists, who're all over the classiness spectrum. :O
