Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

@Juju: Your Kamina post has a few errors in there so I can't accept until you correct them. Sorry.

The errors I can see: you've written the personality focusing only on how he acts and not how he feels underneath the bravado; spiral energy does not work like that; Kamina without Simon is a recipe for disaster; and he has no reason to have the key for Lagann.

Im sorry to ask but when do you guys think the GM will come?

Look at the signups. She responded to you. :/

I mean its more of an adaptive form of RP just like in D&D. You can't control what everyone is going to do you simply find ways to make it work. I had a post apocalyptic pen and paper style RP on the old guild I did like half a year ago. One of the players came to my place of business because he got an npc caught in the crossfire and she was dying. He rolled terribly on his "Not look like a psychopath roll" and I slammed the door in his face and called the police. Him and the GM went at each other with the police stuff, GM loved it and managed to get the character saved anyhow because the authorities got involved. Turns out she was an important character for the story, and was the reason we left town to go on an adventure.

No offence meant, but... that's not relevant at all, and adaptive is by far the wrong word. You're getting player agency--i.e. the player characters can do unexpected things, impacting NPC's--confused with controlling things that you don't know enough about to control or describe. One of these contributes to the roleplay; the other makes the GM's job harder.*

*The exception, of course, being roleplays where this sort of behaviour is kind of the whole point.

And I... wasn't making any IC posts in which I assumed things. I will wait for GS. I wasn't arguing that I shouldn't. I just made a small mistake, and then admitted that I was mistaken. That's all.

I didn't mean to address you with that post, rather the one directly before mine. Sorry for the confusion.
On a more relevant note, Kaguya is clearly a magician. A rabbit... from her sleeve!
Mokou

The girl focused on the most interesting of these questions--she knew teleportation was possible based simply on having to fight that stupid youkai, and time travel was a concept she had nothing to do with, conflating it with travel time and thus the teleportation thing--which meant energy weaponry. This meant a more practical demonstration: firing a burst of danmaku, and thus essentially a large number of surprisingly-harmless energy bullets, into the air, and asking "Like this?"

Floating off out into the void, Mokou looked down... and up. Flying vehicles and steeds above, below people. It had been a long time since she saw any crowds like this; it hadn't been since she was still as mortal as the rest of humanity, and a noble child living in Nara. The crowds had been more uniform, then, without the odd bits here and there.
Kaguya

Explaining about the worlds they came from? There was obviously no need to say more about themselves, not when everyone knew who she was for some reason, but there wasn't a huge deal that she could say without just going on about a lunar capital she hadn't seen for nearly one and a half thousand years. This didn't leave her all that much to say, so she went for the important part: "I live inside a bamboo forest, and there are a lot of rabbits."

Though it was probably wrong to describe them as pets--Reisen was most definitely a servant, and Tewi was the White Hare of Inaba--it more or less summed up what most of them did: pound mochi, and lie around. When it was cold, she gained a furry blanket... and speaking of which, one of her arms seemed strangely warm.

"See?" Kaguya said, rummaging around for a second and producing a single white rabbit from her sleeve. It seemed quite cheerful about this, waving at the people assembled.
Yes; one of them is being honest about what your expectations really are.
I'd view it as immensely annoying to have to constantly say "this post didn't happen", due to making assumptions about the behaviour or attitudes of a group of entities that I haven't defined yet. Making assumptions about unknowns because they lack nominal importance would be a bad habit from my point of view, especially if things aren't named yet because they haven't had chance to be introduced.

:/ Listen, that's just how I define them and how I've seen most people define them. I can understand how NPC could be defined as GM-controlled, and if that's what Gray Star wants to do, then that's fine. I'm just speaking based on my own experiences in roleplaying. Please don't accuse me of "making stuff up".

And don't tell me I'm thinking of something else and thus wrong? Sorry.

I've dealt with tabletop RPG's and video games a lot, which might explain some of the discrepancy. Hmm.

look dude that's awesome seriously but, could we not try to be mean here? I mean even the last RP I played in not even I think a month ago people like townsfolk, bartenders, and generally everyone who doesn't have a name were controlled by peoples posts. Its just way to insane to expect the GM to tell me that the waitress I called over came over and slapped me when I slapped her buttocks. Like I said though wait for the GM, he will say.

1) The GM is a girl

2) I thiiiiink that doesn't work so well if you're trying to have an RP with a solid plot, using NPC's we (the players) know nothing about. Not all NPC's are simply wallpaper.
I have never, ever seen NPC defined in that way, and I've never even heard of the second one. I think you're making definitions up. :/
... by definition doesn't that mean GS's posting is needed to determine how they're responding?

Hey. :) Just wanted to let you know that PrimezTime and I have been collaborating together about my girl's limbs and such. And now that his character has been accepted, I've edited my character to work with his character's type of magic, so my character's artificial limbs should meet your requests now. :) Please let me know what you think. -- My character is on page 2.

... no they aren't? You need to rethink that page number.
