Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

The edginess is going to poke an eye out.
There's the minor downside that he can crush a guy's head with one hand, and unlike F/SN Caster would be a bit more troublesome to beat the crap out of. Since he's supposed to be a knight. XD

Says it all, really.

Click this if that isn't sufficient crazy.
Name: Rose Cerulean Lime IX

Age: 29

Gender: Female

Appearance: "Captain, it's too hot. I'm melting."
Though her 'default' size is actually only 2'8, she generally tries to stay bigger than that. If she's smaller, she can't really cook, or reach the sink to get bigger. Her actual normal size is from a little bigger than the captain to a head taller.

Personality: Very socially dense and slow on the uptake, Rose could be forgiven for being a complete idiot. She has all the social graces of a brick and an attitude like a puppy. It's easy to tell if she's upset or scared (aside from changing to blue or green), because she simply can't hide her emotions.
The thing is, Rose isn't an idiot. Inattentive and rather slow to spot hidden implications, but she's no slouch when it comes to planning or understanding complex concepts.

Skills: Master Chef: pretty much since she was born, Rose has been learning to cook all the many and varied foods of the galaxy, even if she was supposed to be doing something else. By quite a large margin, she's better at cooking than pretty much anyone else on the ship.
Size May Vary: She'll dry out over time and return to being her smallest size, but she can be filled up with water to grow larger. Anything over 8' tall is hazardous, making her vulnerable to the sorts of injuries that normally can't even bother her. She's pretty malleable about how the volume is all distributed.
Toughness: Stabbing or clubbing Rose is about as ineffective as you can get. Cutting her isn't all that much better if you don't just cut something off. Generally, you want to use heat or lasers... but that just makes her smaller. She's rather damn annoying to kill. In a combat situation, her greatest contribution is to just stand in front of the other crew members.
Clothing: Normal clothes tend to sink in a little and fail to do what they're supposed to, so Rose learned to essentially separate an entire chunk of her body from herself. Combined with colour-changing properties, she's been able to get quite a varied wardrobe, even if it doesn't feel substantially different from her skin.

Equipment: Kitchen utensils! Especially knives.

Brief Backstory: A member of a scientifically-created race--initially for reasons of making up draught animal deficits on some more machine-inhospitable agricultural worlds. Some bright spark chose to try and make soldiers this way... only for the experiment to be declared a failure because none of them seemed terribly interested in fighting. Rose, for instance, only cared about food.
Left to their own devices, she learned to cook--and picked up a bunch of knowledge about random places in the galaxy whilst doing so--before offering to join Yurika's crew.

Position in Crew: Cook.
THE GREATEST COOL.
Given the amount of whining, I'm rather glad.
/Zero Caster is utterly insane.
We are team stubborn! XD
Archer thinks the refusal to kill is naive and the ideal is doomed. But then again, this is also him:

Though he's trying again anyway, because of the rest of the route. XD
The look in Vash's direction was half a cross between anger and despair. Here was another seduced by an ideal that could save nobody in the end, and yet one that Archer could bear no intrinsic malice towards: it wasn't the blonde that had made him into what he was. Maybe, though, he could be dissuaded from his path. He owed him enough to try, at least.

"Once, there was a boy. Remembering nothing before the fire that destroyed everything he knew, his rescuer took him in. He passed on his wish to be a superhero and the boy turned it into his own ideal. For years, he was powerless to save anyone, until after the same war that had burned the town returned," Archer stated, skipping over the unimportant parts, "But afterwards, the bitter truth of the world intruded. Where people needed saving, he would fight no matter the danger. This man fought and killed if it was the only option, again and again and again. Yet he saved thousands of times the amount he killed.

"Yet always there was someone that couldn't be saved, someone that had to be sacrificed. And when the man's power wasn't enough to save even those he could see, it was the world itself that supplied the power--in death he would serve it as a protector of humanity. He kept saving, until in the end those he saved betrayed him and he was executed for starting the same war he had stopped.

"But protecting humanity isn't the same as saving people. It's killing those that would threaten its existence, seeing nothing but the ugliness of the world forever. How many billions were saved by the endless massacres? Never everyone."

He paused, looking away, "So forget about such an impossible goal, before chasing it betrays you entirely."

Then the man was gone, faded into spirit form and once more in the city. None but Saber could possibly know the hypocrisy of his words. After all, hadn't he told Rin that he would do his best? Though really, trying to save someone from an ideal as warped as his was certainly a valuable attempt.
Name: : Rose Cerulean Lime IX
Age: 34
Gender: Apparently, female, for all that her species is sexless.
Appearance: The girl of many different shades. She's also absolutely tiny, due to a racial tendency to rarely deviate from a specified volume: she's about 2'8, and easily carried around.
Personality: Rather slow to react and in general outright appalling at complex social interactions, Rose wears her heart on her sleeve and approaches everything with either single-minded earnestness or total disinterest. She's possessed of about as much malice as a paper towel and thus, even if you try and brutally murder her, she'll still be your friend.
Skills: Extremely good cook, nigh impossible to kill without energy weapons or fire coming into it--she'll just regenerate the damage immediately. She also has limited control over her form, sufficient to form outfits of various degrees of fanciness as is appropriate. If she's sad she goes blue, and if she's scared green. Otherwise red.
Equipment: Knives! The kitchen has a lot.
Brief Backstory: One of the... stranger crew members, she represents a species of aliens that probably aren't actually aliens--more an Earthly lab experiment. For a start, their appearance is determined wholly by which species contributed DNA to their creation, along with many of their capabilities--being malleable and prone to colour-changing for one reason or another is one of the few universal traits--as is being able to more than triple their size if you water them. Rabbits, wolves, goldfish, humans, and even tree variations have all been recorded. Rose, however, simply showed up at the docks one day and asked if Yuriko needed a cook.
Position in Crew: Cook (though she's trained to be more than that).
