Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

I apologise for missing the Guts post buried in the middle of the museum fight.
Magnetic beam? "Infuse magnetism"? Err...
Misaka Mikoto

Looking at the gateway more closely--or more accurately, paying more attention to what her ability could pick up--told Mikoto some more about what would have to be done to get this thing to work again. The nearby cylinder, big as it was, seemed to be the only part of the contraption with any power... and if she wanted to hazard a guess, it was some sort of capacitor. One that wasn't connected to any sort of power grid and wasn't charging.

"I think if I charge this, we should be able to get it working," the schoolgirl theorised, circling around the cylinder and looking for anywhere wires or something should have gone in the past... rather than just frying the entire thing. Sure enough, there was a port on the back--one that she tentatively started feeding electricity into. This gate definitely wasn't something that she wanted to break.

Fujiwara no Mokou

"If anyone here is alive despite the dead, they aren't going to burn to death," the pale girl said after some thought, seeing no reason to go on a rescue mission. These two were the only living things she'd seen in here (for a certain value of living) and it seemed doubtful that there were going to be more people.

Following in Guts wake, and thus comfortably away from the near constant spray of blood, simply reinforced the idea: if they did find anyone living, they'd probably be cut in two if they didn't get the way in time.

That is true. xD Also, I'll ask it before I make the CS, is it fine to make a level 4 with magnetic abilities?

We have the Railgun. Of course it is. XD
I want to avoid the inevitable mess with science/magic overlap: Touma's power ruins too many otherwise interesting plots.

Also he's a black hole of interaction where everything important happens to him, which is bad. XD
Yes, yes it is.
Could always join the two of us (plus NPC) just standing around in a school that, so far as we know, is inexplicablu full of zombies. Guy with a big sword, girl with hands in her pockets, girl with a katana... if you want to start with 'unofficially aligned' meaning 'met them in the first post and don't know a thing yet', I guess.

Or, in keeping with your background, probably in the castle. XD
I also made a character, and have posted in the sign-ups.

Well, there's a character I'm happy to see.
Nadeshiko is being chilled.
<Snipped quote by Raineh Daze>

Imperishable Night was an Incident where the earth was sealed away from the moon by the people at Eientei, which really rustled up Gensokyo's resident youkai for obvious reasons and made it impossible for the sun to rise until the seal was lifted. I certainly wouldn't call it just a really long night.

Beyond that, considering how Aniki-kun is described as a musclebound male fairy, it's not the canon Gensokyo.

Eh... the night was caused by Yukari/Alice/Sakuya/Yuyuko because they wanted to investigate the corrupted moon thing going on. However, people think the night's the incident, because that's all they noticed--that it was a really long night.

If something doesn't fit into a canon in any way, which this doesn't, don't claim that it doesn't. It's just 'I made something up'.
