As the final clasps on her armour were locked, a call came to assemble in the hangar--a call that, for an obvious reason, the fallen knight had no reason to actually head. With the grunts filing in and others--including that brutish green thing that claimed to be an orc despite being far more like a troll--and no huge resistance expected, Kerri dismissed her mount and squire. No sense risking her personal servants with so many troops around. One-of-Many, of course, was staying with her--she hardly trusted the thing to leave her sight for even a minute and it was quite capable of staying out of danger if things turned bad.

Ready for the mission, the blackguard's hands firmly grasped her blade's hilt.

If it wasn't already flagrantly obvious, there's a secondary motivation for having Misaka there (and/or Kuroko) sidetracked by totally random things: so other characters can actually do plot before things blow up. XD

Fortunately, so long as they don't meet the people behind it for a while, things can keep going.

Something in Mikoto's words did indeed get through to her incomparably dense junior: that she didn't want to eat off of the other girl's body. Unfortunately, with the girl's inexplicable ability to ignore every sign that her behaviour wasn't appropriate, Kuroko completely missed the reason why the Railgun wasn't interested. She simply realised that eating the exploded crepe off her body would mean eating a good amount of clothing... and that was hardly as sensuous or as appealing.

Thanking the stranger for the napkins, the girl endeavoured to restore her outfit, though she quickly resigned herself to simply not being covered in dessert; both her blouse and the jacket had absorbed cream and sauce, and the skirt didn't seem to have fared all that much better. With her attention firmly on trying to clean her clothing, the teleporter was unfortunately (for Torako) paying too little attention to realise that she'd just prodded an irate level five.
