Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

Kohinata Miku

Miku had initially felt confusion about her location, as well as concern about how Hibiki would take her apparent sudden disappearance. She had to push the doubt aside, though; how would Hibiki feel if she walked out on helping people just to get home quickly? Even if she wasn't a fighter, and definitely not as dangerous as the alarmingly huge man with an even bigger sword, she had a relic and the courage to use it. Even a little courage is still courage.

Staying around to wait proved to be the right choice, as an all-too-familiar voice called out from elsewhere in the group, announcing her room-mate's presence as loudly and cheerfully as ever. She hadn't quite gotten through the obstructions to Hibiki before the girl was, like ever, picking the straight and obvious path and rushing into the centre door.

The city beyond was... beautiful. They were high up with an amazing view, but the architecture and technology was unfamiliar. She hadn't heard of a city build to any sort of plan like this before, either, since city planning tended to call for not having huge drops all over the place, wherever possible, so building up like this was a strange choice. With the sound of fighting nearby, though, there was only a few seconds to react before the brunette rushed off without realising there was support.

"Hibiki!" Miku rushed over, hoping that she would be noticed. Losing Hibiki in another crowd might cause problems...

Little did the green-eyed girl know that of all the doors she could have picked, this was probably the worst world for her to wander into. Her Symphogear, after all, did share something of a resemblance to a Murakumo unit... complete with floating just above the ground.

... she seriously has bad luck with falling off of things. All three seasons she's fallen from somewhere high up, nearly twice in season two, and she's averaging getting attacked by something somewhere around... three. xD
... the sane version: same universe as Hibiki. Had a Symphogear for a while. Whilst it would be POSSIBLE to enter her from that time, it would be a bad idea. Given a few pieces of info from the next season, it's entirely plausible that she could get the thing again without a season-long knowledge gap and related problems.
I... had a character idea a few days ago, but I've not posted to apply or anything mostly because of the somewhat... awkward way things would need to happen to make it work? The simple version is that to take the character from the right point as-is would introduce a temporal problem due to coming from somewhat earlier in the series as compared to another character. But given something else that happened, it's entirely possible to explain around it.

Or in less obtuse terms: Kohinata Miku with the Shenshou Jing (but without the huge-ass laser due to lack of synchronisation), theoretically because if you gathered a bunch of shit from the moon after G and then got someone who could repair and enhance relics, you'd probably end up with that. And who else would you give it to? xD
Seeing that the man with far too many swords was catching people, Olivie turned around and focused on the rest of the stairs. The headless skeleton was concerning; without seeing the head it was hard to tell what to actually expect. Whilst some sort of head-targeted spike would probably hit her hand instead, doing less serious damage, if it was a decapitating axe then she'd get a far more serious injury.

Whilst being so large obviously had its downsides--her lack of armour attested to that, and she was a major target when a fight broke out--it meant that if they needed someone to test a trap, she was probably the best choice due to the sheer unlikelihood that any immediately fatal blows would get her.

Plus her sword was big enough to function as the other adventuring staple: a ten foot pole, which she carefully used to test the nearby stairs for any moving parts... and hopefully gently enough to not set things off.
Can I just point out that, based on my last post, Olivie is already standing down there. :p
I like Vendrael's hesitance in confirming that the 10'2 girl is half-giant.
Olivie was standing by the hole when other group members started to coalesce around them. One had a good idea--testing the depth of the entrance--but the bearded man seemed to think that they were better off digging a new hole in the wall rather than fighting any possible undead. Given that they were a group largely composed of warriors with a few spellcasters, the chance anyone would know enough architecture to not bring the tower down on their heads was minimal.

"With all respect, sir, I believe that another entrance would merely delay contact with our foes, as we have no map with which to navigate," the half-giant stated, watching the torch's fall--then dropping down if the fall was harmless to her. In the event the drop was rather too large for anyone else, she could help bridge the gap.
I don't think 'move closer to where the other people in the group were to avoid trampling' would work out as long enough without filler, so...
I'll be honest, given the exact scenario, I've been having trouble thinking of a post that's long enough to not look lazy.
