And Yuki will kill and kill again, because honour demands it and come hell or high water she is a samurai. :p

To be mildly honest, I would say Asuka's killed nearly 689,475 people with her sword alone, but 500 out of that total were the reason she turned away from being the most feared samurai in Japan and adopted a life of seeking peace and atonement.

That number is completely out of place given the population of Japan at the time. >.>

XD Kaede reminds me alot of Rangiku Matsumoto really personality-wise. And yes eventhough Asuka was once a legendary and infamous slayer of a thousand, it just took three naked women to turn her into a bumbling mess lol XD

"Killed an army," Yuki plainly stated, draining her first bottle of sake--well, the first since arriving at the clearing--and setting it aside. The indigo-haired girl considered the board for a moment, before retrieving a piece from her left and placing it in position for the imaginary opponent opposite her, "It wasn't with this sword, though. Katana, naginata, yari--whatever I could get hold of and wield until it broke. There was no shortage of dead samurai and their weapons."

She seemed rather morose, which was only to be expected--the other half of the story was that even a demon couldn't take on an army of samurai, and considerably more peasantry, and escape without harm. The Demon had won--but at terrible cost. An army, an eye, and too much scarring to attract anyone, clothed or not.

"I have to wonder if 'Satsuma' is to do with the battle or my home. My father still rules the province, but at the same time I had to fight a local army just to stop their usurping him. Idiots; they knew I could fight. We'd known each other our entire lives, and still they thought my position inappropriate."

Yuki snorted, as if dismissing the ghosts that were once her friend--but in the same action, her hand went into the board and came back with further sake. Whatever she outwardly showed, she definitely wasn't so dismissive of the action herself.
