Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

Honda Ami

"Well, we can't do it with money, though shinai would probably be available somewhere as this is a pretty big city..." Ami said, thinking about what she knew of the rest of the world. Not much, to be honest, but she thought she'd heard something about kendo being practised outside of Japan? Getting an actual wooden sword would pretty much be a matter of finding appropriate wood and hoping that Musashi wasn't the only swordsman able to whittle himself a sword.

It was at this point that the girl finally noticed the shady looking old man standing nearby, only able to ask him who he was and why he was there. Unfortunately, like the entire rest of her conversation with Okita, she hadn't thought to speak in English.

"Caster"

"A name, yes... you can call me Abigail," the witch said after a brief period of thought. She had that little girl on the mind anyway, so what harm could it be to borrow her name? It wasn't like anyone could possibly draw a connection from such an innocuous name to Salem.

The white-haired girl looked up at the mention of the Hex Knight, frowning. It wasn't dark yet... were they really so eager to get into the dangerous stuff before it really had to be done? Sure, there was a wish, and you probably had a better chance of getting the wish if you got started as soon as possible, but... "It's not even night yet. Shouldn't you go eat dinner or something before getting tied up in all the fighting...? It's a bit early to start..."
Hanako

"Oh." the girl said, blinking a few times as she processed this new information, "But I don't really want to fight, and it might be bad if we damage the shrine... can't it wait until later?"

If she left the fighting until later, maybe they wouldn't have to fight at all... the idea of beating up little girls didn't really sit well with the teenager, even if they were super-powered magical little girls.
Okay, that's Gil up.

Rejoice, Shady Old Man, he's bored.
Gil shall come separately.
Laetitia and Lancelot

"Remind you of somewhere?" the taller of the blondes asked, tilting her head a little at her Servant's reaction. To her, this was simply another landscaped garden--a very nice one, and cooler than the subtropical climate of the rest of the city, but just some greenery. With Saber gazing out over the lake, she was therefore the first to notice when some other people entered the park: a fairly tall man with unusually purple hair, which matched the description she'd been given of Lancelot... roughly. Her Saber had told her to look out for longer hair than that.

What was following was more interesting. A girl almost identical to Arturia, wearing a much more revealing outfit... "Hey, doesn't that girl look like you? I wonder if we can ask her where she got those clothes~"

Striding towards them with his bags of snacks, Lancelot came to a halt, wondering how to broach the topic of not just having brought himself... but also picked up the wayward Knight of Rebellion entirely by accident. Or how to introduce yourself to someone that you hadn't seen for years, unless you counted the surreal occasion where you got stabbed... "Your majesty, I..."

Gilgamesh

"No tutoring? With so little to do, you must have something else planned," the golden Servant said, sampling the glass. From the lack of a grimace or the sudden threat of execution, it rated passable on his scale--and was therefore what most people would consider excellent. Except perhaps wine critics, but there were always people who would go and take things too far, even for someone as innately drawn to luxury as Gilgamesh.

"What say you to drawing out your old foe with our work? Iskandar might even find his tactical abilities challenged."

El-Melloi appeared to have the administrator occupied.
Hanako

The girl was dumbfounded by the sudden change in tack, from explaining what the school project was actually about--though she was a bit surprised, it would seem odd to have an elementary school class go out and meet the shrine maiden one by one--to calling her a magical girl. Not that such an accusation made much sense, though she'd also been compared to a princess because of the hair. Needless to say, she didn't think the pair were being at all serious about the accusation.

"Um... but this is my natural hair colour... I know it's unusual but it doesn't mean anything..."

Ami

"Start with the basics...? Are my basics not good enough?" Ami wondered, looking down at the sword she was holding. Of course she might expect that anyone summoned as Saber would have high standards, but... her skill, such as it was, had been enough to merit practising with a real sword on occasion. Though now that she thought about it, Okita was right. For all she knew how to draw, cut, and sheathe in one motion, actual combative sport was something that the schoolgirl was entirely unfamiliar with.

"Where are we going to get practice swords?"

"Caster"

"No need for traps," was the reply, as the Servant busied herself doing... something. Knocking something over here, the most meagre of all curses there to make it all dusty, "If we just make it look abandoned then everyone will pass through, none the wiser, and never think to come back and check."

With her security measures in place, the witch temporarily stepped away from her Master, through another brief portal--and into the back rooms of a different clothing store. Though Kezia was only gone for a few minutes, by the time she returned, the old dress and witch's hat had been exchanged for a far less stand-out skirt and hoodie combo. Though the old clothes were probably in the sports bag. Nobody knew what she looked like yet, so the hair wasn't a problem.

"Shall we go?"
Gilgamesh

"Start with the Italian, we must see how your selection compares with the swill that Rider managed to find in Japan," the man, now seated, stated. And why not start somewhere known for its wine production? Unusual that the bartender had no French reds on hand but no doubt if he was pushed the man would be acquire them through some channel or other. He briefly glanced over at his shoulder and the child conspicuously sitting in the bar. "Administrator, do you care to join us?"
Gil is waiting for his wine before I move there.
