Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

Tyaethe Radistirin

"If a dragon shows up, do you cowards plan to feed the princess to it and hope for the best? These are just bandits," Tyaethe said, unable to contain herself as yet another knight chose to view for the captain's opinion by a humiliating display of caution. If this was the best Thaln could offer, no wonder the Bandit King had such an easy time of it; a reasonably determined child could probably put them off. "Mayon grant you all a spine... if so many of you are that scared of one man, I'll clear the camp on my own."

Hopefully, Fanilly would put her foot down and limit the excessive level of caution if some good old-fashioned goading didn't work. Nothing like an apparent child looking down her nose at you to push you into trying to prove yourself. Even if her gaze was a bit blunted by the sheer press of bodies, it was still quit the weight bearing down. Particularly on Druncarde.

That was just useless whimpering. Generally, it would take an idiot of a foe to not notice a company of armoured knights riding up; not having the element of surprise was something they had to deal with.
Tyaethe Radistirin

The knight's longest serving member looked considerably less prepared for battle than the majority of their assembled host--to the unaware, Tyaethe looked entirely out of place surrounded by the armoured knights; a child sheltering under a pastel-coloured parasol, mounted upon a rather gruff looking pony. The only clue that she belonged lay in the sword strapped to the saddle. But why would she have been armoured up like the others? It was an unpleasant way to travel and the advantage in creating your armour was that it took no time to equip.

It had been quite some time since the knights had been called on to do anything in the way of simple bandit clearance, so she had to wonder what made this man so much more fearsome than your average bandit. Magic? Some sort of experienced knight run amok? Some northern adventurer who thought his luck at prowling in dungeons translated to the ability to oppose an army? Whatever i t was, it didn't matter. The man was as good as dead.

"Dismounting sounds good; don't want any bandits to change job to horse thief when we walk in."
I mean... yeah, questionable is in fact an apt description. Like there's a lot of things that don't quite make sense there and others that are just... bad. Like the first thing that comes to mind is the appearance. His skin tone doesn't make a whole lot of sense because all elves are basically the same physically. Dark elves are... well, they're about what you'd expect underground-living northerners to look like: pale; not drow. The mana glowy stuff is also not really a thing as... every race has mana. Any glowing would have to be conscious effort from a magic user.

Being so much taller than an average half giant is actually a bad thing from the point of view of getting involved and like... you've already de facto committed to not taking part in the roleplay at all. There's not going to be a slaver focused. There's at least one thing near the beginning that takes place entirely indoors.

Then finally... all the age and "it's ancient!" stuff going on. Even putting aside that "oldest youngest knight" is basically my character schtick, it's really hopelessly vague and relies on another interpretation of elves that doesn't apply here--it's a lot closer to the "well, you're pretty much an adult when you're grown" approach with a lot of experience caveats. But specifically... the knights origins' aren't ancient history. It's two human lifetimes ago, which is pretty reasonable in a fantasy setting. Its founder is a Saint so people are very interested. They've always been based in the capital and are unsurprisingly well documented. And hell, one of the founding members is again right there, it's not a forgotten mists of history deal.
@HereComesTheSnowOur vampire loli is actually currently being passed off as 'immortal holy warrior bound to the Iron Rose Knights', so no one should actually know she's a vampire, afaik.

No, this time she's just blatantly a vampire.
Also random vampore-related trivia: yes, they have fangs; yes, they're normally pale with red eyes.; no, Tyaethe didn't get either of those from being a vampire. And the blood generally comes from the order.
I'm a holy paladin/historical figure. How could I use something that isn't a sword?
Charlotte Hughes

Exiting through the door and into a graveyard, Charlotte immediately raised an eyebrow. What a pleasant place this was--and with something dragging... things around in the distance. A monster dragging corpses? A shambling mound of dead bodies? Anything was possible in a place like this. "I'm going to go look into what that sound is, try and head for the other building."

No sense everyone else getitng caught out in the open if it turned out to be pretty fast. She could probably back out of a fight or keep dodging.

And so, the garishly dressed cyborg strode boldly towards the dangerous-sounding noises...
I mean, assuming that this follows the same timeline as before, Fanilly's basically just assumed command, not more than a few weeks at most, and the knights haven't really gone out to do something until the start of the roleplay.

Sir Lancelot

For one of Greek myth's most celebrated teachers to be assigned to judging their abilities was a high honour--though with Mordred's interest in the man and unexpected recollection, the traitor knight would insist on being the first to take the opportunity. Though there was no reason that any of the knights should be able to remember meeting with someone that had long been turned into a constellation by their time...

Bradamante's reaction was more familiar. Exceedingly so, given Sir Gareth had reacted the exact same way when everyone convened for the first time today. The prudent thing to do was to interrupt the gushing before she got too carried away and forgot why they were here--and before she might notice Tristan or Gawain's attitudes. He wasn't going to do something so forward with such a fervent admirer. No matter their outfit.

"You've had contact with Merlin? Do you mind explaining before we fight?" If that wizard was still around, there was no telling what tricks he might get up to. Or whose dreams he might invade.

Alkyrieaze von Einzbern

"You have to be the single most pathetic Master I've seen so far," Alkyrieaze said, looking at the amazing lack of results, "My previous model could control Heracles and you can't even command seal someone to not fight."

Of course, whilst the child was saying this and walking round to be closer to Jason, Altera was reacting to the shot with all appropriateness: cutting the bullet out of the air, and bringing the Sword of Mars down to engage the Berserker in melee. Something that, perhaps unsurprisingly, was decisively in her advantage: even were her parameters not superior, a divine construct was an advantageous melee weapon over a Servant's katana. Particularly one with more resemblance to a whip than a sword.

And Altera was just as aggressive a fighter.

The homunculus, meanwhile, was simply sighing as she tried to think of how to end this. Not that killing a berserker was all that bad in her mind, but it would be inconvenient, which meant... finding some other way to get him to stop fighting than lop limbs off. Fortunately, she had the skills of her predecessors, even if she was even more hopeless in fighting, which meant as soon as she was close enough to Jason... and so long as Altera kept Hijikata away...

One or two hairs from her head made an excellent noose around the throat. Alchemical wire was quite beyond a normal person to break. Oh, he might protest when he realised what the child had so quickly done, but--"Berserker, if you don't stop fighting, you Master dies, and you fail whatever your mission is."
Tyaethe's armoured appearance will probably change when Mordhau gets female models.
