Being truly on my own is a bit of a weird feeling. It's never really happened.

Let it never be said that sometimes extreme brevity isn't the most appropriate post, though. Everything is a tool.

I am in an advanced RP which has lasted for years, and during that time over quarter hundred (!) players have come and gone over time - therefore, a character sheets tab would soon be a mess of mostly inactive characters. Scratch it, every successful RP I have been in has had minimum thrice as many entries as there have ended up being current players. On one hand, those temporal CS can be useful for reference when you speak of dead/astray characters ICly ... but at other times they are clutter. I imagine it would be even worse for successful Casual roleplays...And linking has worked perfectly for RPs I am in. You've nice little list in one post, and if you want to see info about a character, you just click a name in said list...

That relies on the GM keeping the list up to date/accurate.

Also, consistency. Consistency is nice. And Ctrl+f is perfectly workable if you know what you're looking for and don't have much to search.
Fingers played with hair as Rain frantically thought about how to salvage this meeting. The most risky option was clearly to just open it and hope that her friends wouldn't laugh; she'd never been seen like this, after all. In their previous meeting the tall female had stuck to a heavy sweater and jeans, then put her normal coat on after that. Never had the girl considered showing off her figure (or what there was of it). She didn't think all that much of it, by far.

Rain sat down on the room's bed and rapidly began undoing the knots on her boots and flicking them off. She could try putting on something else but that would probably be uncomfortably hot for this weather, even for someone who approached summer with an attitude espousing wearing long sleeves at all times. Clearly, this was not a good choice, either.

So that left option number three, and the one she was already starting on: get unchanged and dressed as quickly as possible, and hope the two outside didn't notice a thing. It was already starting to verge into 'taking too long to answer the door', however—Rain was unlikely to get particularly far with this plan. At best, she would get down to just the leotard, since that didn't require removing too much in the way of attire, before one of the two visitors thought to try the door and learned that it was unlocked.

In reality, none of the problems or difficulties that Rain was imagining were the slightest bit likely to come true but once she started thinking about something, she would follow it to its ridiculous and somewhat panicked conclusion.

Thus, when Moerin finally opened the door out of concern for her friend, only to find the pale girl halfway through moving the leotard, there was no mockery, no jibes--just embarrassment all around and a door quickly shut once more. It successfully threw Rain's mind back on track and, giving up, she put the skintight attire on properly and shuffled over to the door, face crimson as she opened it and hair falling over her eyes, glasses neatly in their case inside her coat.
A CS tab would be helpful (everything in one thread, no differences in how character sheets are handled between threads), but thinking about how it would be linked is just... messy. @_@
Interested, probably.
Hanako obediently trooped outside, passing over the already-occupied front passenger seat and sliding into the middle of the rear-most seats, carefully fastening her seatbelt before the other employees could get in and make it impossible, one way or the other. It was only then that she realised that her normal seat was occupied--by someone that hadn't even been inside the agency, no less! Of course, once she realised who it was, the girl stopped worrying; Yumiko was her aunt's friend and therefore perfectly allowed to show up at random.

"Are we going somewhere fun, Toshi?" Yumiko asked, carefully placing her basket of flowers down and making sure it was closed, "Organising a day out for school children? There are a lot of people around today."

But Tom Riddle himself didn't know he was a half blood when he was sorted.

He was still a parselmouth. This, plus his ambition, pretty much guaranteed the hat would place him in the right spot. Descended from Slytherin plus that sort of ambition?

Edit: And I would think that after the war they would take steps to be more accepting as it is a delicate subject.

The Hat decides. They can't exactly change the hat's opinion. Therefore, no changes.
Mahz, a few lines of space at the bottom of the page, please? Closed threads look kind of... weird, with how abruptly they stop when you reach the bottom.

... I have the most banal request, I think.
Well, there goes one thing that looked promising...
New discovery: quote hates anything inside Mahz's code.

There isn't anything super wrong with it, it's just weird to read. And the opening is written in past tense because it well...took place in the past. Cake's post sounds like it was written by a fortune teller that was predicting what would happen to the character. "Haika would stand in the middle of the cave." "A roar would come...." Most roleplaying is written using the current actions of the character.

Most roleplaying I've seen over the past six years is written in past tense, and the present tense is the baffling one. >_>;

Also, that's one of the various future tenses, not past. (Okay, I admit, 'would' is an inane thing that is the past version of a future tense. It is maddening)
