Bio

I'm Randomness. I also go by others names when it's unavailable, but those are usually some variation of Randomness or Random in general.

I like anime, video games, and science. I'm currently in school studying to become an radiologic technologist. I'm in the initial stages, so I'm on my way. My favorite anime is Eureka Seven, and my favorite video game is a tie between Kingdom Hearts and Etrian Odyssey.

I have several story ideas, but currently lack motivation to write them out. I have plenty of notes for some of them so when I finally get around I'm prepared. That said, I absolutely enjoy group story telling like you do through role playing. One of my interests involved is world building and the connections between them if any.

One of my characters travels between worlds, dimensions and universes. What these are meant to be are different RPs. There seems to be some taboo around such a character, but I feel that is should be judged on a case by case basis. The idea of a seasoned character who has been on many adventures being able to share stories in passing sounds like a fun idea. I thought it would be an interesting idea that those stories could be from other RPs. He isn't meant to highjack the current RP, or be over powered. I admit, I can see that concern. Really though, he is meant to be an eccentric character with stories and treasures not before seen. The effects of these stories are meant to be entertaining, like fairy tales to the current cast. And what treasures he has or can use I'd restrict to what makes sense in the current world. But like I said before, it should be case by case. A learner, and a story teller. I think it's fun to link concept together through this character so the story could live on in new ways and perhaps give new RPs a different kind of character. Without upending everything of course.

Penny stood calmly during the announcement. Getting to this point was difficult, and at times was not sure if she would even be accepted, but despite her struggles, it looks like she had made it. She turned her head to look about the room. She couldn’t help but feel it a testament about humanities will to survive against the robots and to do so on their terms. Penny was not terribly offput by the principal’s speech. Her sister, Madeline, told her that he could be imposing but had a strong sense of justice. It was comforting that such a leader was so determined to protect the people of Fidelis from the robot threat.

Next to Penny floating close at hand was Gyro. For now, it had done most of the talking for her. Penny still had a hard time actually interacting with others, and that did make it hard to get through the preliminary tests. Having Gyro around helped a lot with that. Having a robotic companion like it was not without its criticisms, but most eventually saw how harmless it was. Communication might have been her weakness, but she liked to think her other skills and aptitude helped the overseers overlook that.

“Look there.” Gyro spoke with a lower male voice, “You have been assigned a class. We should line up with that group.” Penny faced the board and saw the picture of a woman with dark hair ending in blue. She was pretty. Penny moved through the crowd to find where they were gathering. Among them were a girl with dark skin and red horns staring into space. Penny moved past her and stood next to a blonde girl. Penny was sure this was where they should line up. Scratching behind the feathers that grew around her ears, Penny looked up the line to see the teacher ahead, appearing just like her portrait.

“She has fallen.” Penny looked over to Gyro, and then towards the direction he was looking. Down on the floor was the red horned girl. Why she was on the floor was a mystery, but it also seemed to have surprised that girl as well. She quickly stood and introduced herself as Sinmara. She was trying to pick a fight it looked like. Penny took a step back in case, but the blonde girl she stood next to spoke up. Penny didn’t want to judge, but she was already having second thoughts about the class based on Sinmara’s attitude, and Yumi’s grammar.
Could we use a different shade of purple? That one is a little hard to read against the dark background.
So Alex is just a floating brain? Like not in a jar or anything, but a floating brain.
Is Violet that enthusiastic teaching and just loves the students? Or is it just a facade when she is teaching.
I guess the intelligence of the robots is to be determined. But I’m sure they have something. A guy invented a dart board that can track darts mid flight and adjust itself to always hit a bulls eye. And we’re facing raiding robots.

I get what your going for. I’m similar with bullet count. Cinematically, I can see her going as fast as she needs to for the cool points. I don’t think we need consistency as much as perhaps a maximum.
I get that. But bullets are faster than sound. So not light speed, but faster than sound. It’s not narrowest of end brackets but it’s a start.
I was looking up speeds and such. Earth’s escape velocity is 7 miles a second. That just sounds insanely fast. 25k mph.

As a sort of measurement. Perhaps compare her speed to the speed of sound, a bullet, or light.
Why can't you use Discord?
This doesn’t seem like the kind of organization that needs an elaborate backstory. Your character might just want to blow up robots because it seems like fun. Or joined because didn’t like other life prospects. Maybe just looks up to the sunderers. Or it gives her an opportunity to use deadly arsenal she would not have access to otherwise.
