Bio

I'm Randomness. I also go by others names when it's unavailable, but those are usually some variation of Randomness or Random in general.

I like anime, video games, and science. I'm currently in school studying to become an radiologic technologist. I'm in the initial stages, so I'm on my way. My favorite anime is Eureka Seven, and my favorite video game is a tie between Kingdom Hearts and Etrian Odyssey.

I have several story ideas, but currently lack motivation to write them out. I have plenty of notes for some of them so when I finally get around I'm prepared. That said, I absolutely enjoy group story telling like you do through role playing. One of my interests involved is world building and the connections between them if any.

One of my characters travels between worlds, dimensions and universes. What these are meant to be are different RPs. There seems to be some taboo around such a character, but I feel that is should be judged on a case by case basis. The idea of a seasoned character who has been on many adventures being able to share stories in passing sounds like a fun idea. I thought it would be an interesting idea that those stories could be from other RPs. He isn't meant to highjack the current RP, or be over powered. I admit, I can see that concern. Really though, he is meant to be an eccentric character with stories and treasures not before seen. The effects of these stories are meant to be entertaining, like fairy tales to the current cast. And what treasures he has or can use I'd restrict to what makes sense in the current world. But like I said before, it should be case by case. A learner, and a story teller. I think it's fun to link concept together through this character so the story could live on in new ways and perhaps give new RPs a different kind of character. Without upending everything of course.

I expected a nerf. I imagine a scene where Cyrus attempts to use their full power only to be puzzled by the fact that they cannot.
For a time, I was considering Brock. I started the sheet. The quote was going to be him calling his trust frying pan into a drying pan. But I thought we needed another villain. Gen 4 is my favorite, so a choice of villain was easy.
Never participated in a multi-franchise RP before. I think I'll throw my hat in the ring and see how it goes.

Is this still around?
@Randomness While it wasn't mentioned on your CS, I would be fine if N'vui were white-souled. Normally plants, animals, and other non-sapients wouldn't have enough of a soul to be considered an Inheritor, but you would obviously be the exception.

They remind me moreso of the Mokolé from Werewolf the Apocalypse. They're the were-lizards/crocodilians/dinosaurs/dragons that possess a genetic memory that stretches back to the age of Dragon-Kings (ie the Mezozoic).

Anyway the idea is fine I just want to make sure it lines up with everything else alright.

I didn't think it would qualify as a white soul because N'vui doesn't have a destiny, nor was it created by any sort of higher power. Or rather, not the sort of higher power you'd expect for something like that.

I'm down for it to be a white soul being. Does that mean my character is good to move to the CS section?
For my character, N'vui and the N’juitsalyi (should they be relevant), are not and know they are not truly immortal. Their long lives are not attributed to any inherent immortality, but is the product of having a surplus of all the energy remaining in living beings once they had passed. Along with that their own skill to avoid or circumvent lethal damage.

Personal protection and a continuous long lasting spell.

On another subject, I feel Candice and N'vui would probably get along.
I'm still confused about how that is going about with speed. At least you have an idea.

Also here is my character. I felt too much focus was being put on my last idea's origin.

@Randomness This all really just sounds less and less like your character is meant to be the Inheritor, and more like this tree should be.

If the tree went, it wouldn't serve the purpose of spreading its seed and growing more trees like it. Also it's not so easy for a tree to uproot and explore a new world on its own.

But it's funny you should mention that. The new character I had in mind is also a tree. Like a tree it would still be immovable, but has managed to absorb enough power to become sentient and enough magical power to create physical illusions of people that act as avatars so it can explore, interact, learn and communicate with a body even though it's a tree.
The character knows that once it leaves the world he was born, he expects to be unable to commune with it. Any power he has will be granted by the seed. It's like a symbiotic relationship. The seed grants the character power, and the character will seek out the best place for the seed to grow. The world tree's motivation is it has lived for so long, it is seeking to procreate onto another world. Whatever world that happens to be is beyond the tree's control which is why it was granted to a seed bearer to seek the best place of that world.
The bearer wouldn't exactly have the power thrust upon them. This particular person would have spent his life up until that point training and willing to accept the responsibility of the seed. Also, I can nix the dimensions thing. It really only existed to better tie into Norse mythology. The world tree could simply just be a tree with roots that caress and manage the entirety of the one world it's on.

Highly unlikely that would change your mind, and that's fine. I just wanted to explain that detail.
