A light smile crossed Vera's face as the redhead thanked her. When the girl could give no reason as to why she was doing what she was, where she was, Vera turned to the art on the walls of the building in front of them, possibly finding the answer to her own question.

"Lovely, isn't it? Very interesting, one can probably stare at it for hours on end," she commented to the other teen.

Vera was slightly surprised at how the violinist could so easily and quickly identify her as a Light Elementalist. Maybe her parents had been so impatient to send her away because they saw that something about her had changed after she had obtained her abilities, and were afraid that others might have seen it too. It might also be an Elementalist thing she didn't know about, or maybe this girl was just gifted in some way.

"Hmm? Is it that obvious?" Vera asked, raising an eyebrow. She then let out a chuckle. "I never realized, but you're absolutely right."

"And yes," she continued, answering the girl's second question. "This is actually my first day here. Is it yours as well? It's about lunchtime and I was hoping to find some people to go out into the city with, but everyone just cleared out so fast after the assembly, so I thought I'd take my time and explore the place a little more, maybe find someone to hang out with."

After she had spoken that much, Vera picked up a soft, almost unnoticeable buzzing. Sensing that it came from the violin the redhead was holding, her eyes shifted to look at the instrument and she enquired. "Umm, is it supposed to be doing that?"

@Pseudo Stygian Different sorts of Cloudcuckoolander, but I agree they'd probably get along famously. I can imagine them trying to explain things with music or light; like Lyra plays a quick-tempo because she's feeling happy, and Zeke starts painting with bright colours to try and "say" the same thing.

The ambiance of the entire place was refreshing, and almost surreal to the well-off city girl. The urban features of the small town blended well with the natural landscapes, the balance of both being just right so that it did not exactly come off as a shock to Vera, and at the same time also intrigued her sufficiently. The first-day orientation that started outside the school's central building was another fascinating experience. Marveling at the unique architecture of the school, she couldn't help but think about SnuqHomes, her family's business. She could just imagine it releasing collections of furniture and home decorations inspired by nature or the design of the academy, even though she was certain that her parents wanted nothing to do with the place. It was her who was there now, however, and it was time to put her parents' feelings and priorities behind her, for she had things to learn and friends to make.

After the noon bell had rung, Vera walked along the path the new students were guided through once again, familiarizing herself with the important areas of the school and at the same thinking about what to do for the rest of the day. She could check out the tram system, since her family rarely took public transport anywhere. Besides, it would be less of a hassle now that she didn't have all her luggage with her. Thankfully she could leave her bags at the academy for the time being.

A faint tune then caught Vera's attention as she exited the central building. Glancing in the direction from where the music came, she spotted a redhead girl playing the violin. She looked like student, but why was she playing out there? Vera made her way up to the young violinist out of curiosity, lightly clapping her hands as she got closer.

"You have some talent there, love," Vera began, addressing the girl. "I'm certain that many of us appreciate good music, but this seems to be a rather unusual place to be playing, isn't it?"

I imagine the twins would be in the same dorm, but with all the free time that the school gives the students, I believe they'd let the students pick what dorms they want. Through, this is just how I think it is.

She gives off a refined, elegant vibe that may make her come across as arrogant or cause her friendliness to be perceived as superficial. She may also seem nonchalant and even a little naïve at times. Being an only child, she was constantly pampered with expensive gifts by her parents, but not so much with their time due to their busy schedules. Still, Vera was contented with her life and all it provided her with, right up till her early teens. Well, till she turned fifteen, to be exact, for that was the year when she learned that she was gifted with the element of light, much to the dismay of her family.

Due to general prejudice towards Elementalists, Vera’s parents, who were highly-respected business figures were apprehensive about the status of the family. They were acquainted with many who were not exactly tolerant of those gifted with elemental powers. If word got out that their own daughter was an Elementalist, much trouble may follow. At a loss of what to do, Vera’s parents resorted to travelling to an Elementalist community in secret in an attempt to seek advice regarding their current situation. That was when they learnt of Elemental Academy, a solution that they were thankful for. After they returned from the visit, Vera was promptly and discreetly sent off to the academy where she was free to use her gift and no longer had to hide it.

Equipment: A pair of dome magnifying glasses she experiments with to attempt amplifying her powers.

Hmm if it's still breakfast, that would mean Azzurra is still in class. I don't mind anyone bumping into her in the afternoon when she'll be out though.

"You look terrible," one of Azzurra'sclassmates commented as she slid into her seat beside him.

"What's new?" She replied flatly, taking out her study material.

"Insomnia acting up again?"

"You could say that..."

"You really should see a doctor about that."

"Eh, no worries. Last night was... pretty entertaining."

"You weird me out sometimes, you know that?"

"Yeah, I do." Oh, you have absolutely no idea how weird the stuff I'm involved in is, do you?

The class that followed was uneventful as usual, though, Azzurra's mind was elsewhere. What was with the sudden increase in supernatural activity last night? I wonder if those people are going to act up again tonight. She hoped not. That way, she could at least try getting some sleep. She currently still had a whole day ahead of her, and lunch out with her classmates might just be the thing to take her mind of the night before.
