Myra's ears picked up what sounded like the muffled ringing of a bell, though, before she had the time to comment on it, Jazzy had taken hold of her hand, virtually dragging her out of the library and towards its source. From the fox-girl's words of 'It's ready', she figured out that what she had heard was the mealtime bell. Jazzy also mentioned a 'Mrs. Claus', who was probably the one in charge of the orphans and the upkeep of the place.

She soon caught a faint smell of freshly-made pancakes which grew stronger as she continued on through the hallways with Jazzy. They eventually made it through the doors to the dining hall. There were several children and teenagers seated at the table, an older woman whom she assumed was 'Mrs. Claus' tending to things, and a blonde teenage girl sweeping up an accident. Myra nodded politely at the adult woman and lightly smiled at the seated individuals before sitting down next to Jazzy.

@KatherinWinter Yeah that would help people like me who don't seem to be in the same time zone as most of the others. Like how are we moving this fast? lol.
@KatherinWinter Perhaps it's time to assign the roles IC and get the heist going? Or finalize the roles OOC and start the heist IC? Since there don't seem to be anymore questions I was hoping my last post would help to get things moving.
@DominoPool If you want to skip straight to Jazzy and Myra entering the dining hall to speed things up, I'm fine with that.
Myra was a little frightened as the girl went closer to sniff her before commenting about her different smell. Was that her mist she was smelling? Was she somehow passively generating it? No, from what Myra could see and smell herself, her ability was still well under control. Bringing her attention back to the child's ears and tail once again, it then started to make sense. The girl probably had the animal-like ability to recognize people by their unique scents.

Myra nodded at her question. "I just arrived late last night."

The friendly child then introduced herself as 'Jazzy', and invited her to breakfast. Breakfast... that's right, Myra had totally forgotten about looking for it, as she had been too occupied with exploring the orphanage. Breakfast it was then. She could always resume her little adventure later.

"That sounds good. I'm Ma- Myra," she replied to the invitation and introduced herself, almost forgetting that she had best not use the name she had before.

@DominoPool
Boy this escalated quickly :O LOL
Myra's eyes fluttered open to see the ceiling above her through her somewhat blurry vision. She laid still in the bed, taking a moment to process her current situation and the events that had led up to it. Someone had picked her up the night before when she found herself right outside the building after aimless wandering for what seemed like forever. They had brought her in and gave her a room to clean up and spend the night in, or rather, to live in. This was her home now.

It all seemed so surreal, like it was just too good to be true. She eventually sat up, reaching for her glasses which were resting on the table at the side of her bed. Beneath them was the letter from the orphanage's benefactor that she had received when she had been brought in the night before. It was not a dream, she truly had been given a chance to start fresh, and she would gladly accept that.

After washing up, she thought it a good idea to familiarize herself with her new home, and left her room to explore the premises. Myra made her way through the orphanage, marveling at the size of the place and the various facilities that she passed. She almost could not believe it again, for it just kept getting better. She soon found herself at a door that seemed exceptionally intriguing, compelling her take a look at where it led to. She emerged into a large area that housed desks, chairs, and numerous shelves packed with reading material. It was apparent that she had found a library.

She continued on, walking further in while skimming through the titles on the shelves, before she was slightly startled by the sight of another person among them, considering the fact that she had been on her own ever since she had left her room. The other individual was a child, and were those fox ears and a tail? Well, Myra could not be one to judge. It was not as if she was exactly 'normal' either. She gave the girl a light smile and a polite nod as a greeting.

@DominoPool
@KatherinWinter I may have jazzy come see yall then if no one else does.

I might be able to do that :)
@KatherinWinter Just need to clarify about your first post. So there's the benefactor, the housekeeper and the blind girl who are currently at the entrance?
Appearance:

Name: Matilda Vega (Currently goes by 'Myra')

Age: 15

Power: Myra is able to generate a sweet-smelling mist, similar to floral perfume, which appears to be a bright fluorescent pink. However, despite the alluring smell of this mist, it has some hazardous effects. Myra can produce this mist through her mouth and nostrils at will, and is able to control the concentration of the mist when she does. At lower concentrations, breathing it in can cause headaches, dizziness, and even unconsciousness after prolonged exposure.

Her mist in high concentration can cause an acid-like burning to flesh and haemoptysis if inhaled. This can lead to death if not promptly treated. A continuous stream of this highly-concentrated mist can corrode metal and other materials of similar resistance or weaker. However, generating highly-concentrated mist drains her energy, causing her to slip into unconsciousness herself after prolonged use of the ability. Also, the mist will start to break down a minute after it is released into the air, and its effects will then be lost completely.

Bio: Having lost her parents at an early age due to an incident involving a rogue supernatural, Matilda, for most of her life, was raised by her older brother, who had developed a resentment for supernaturals due to the aforementioned mishap. Matilda was at a loss as to what to do on the day she discovered her abilities, but eventually decided to run from her home and leave town when she felt that she could no longer face her brother and guardian.

After finding her way to the orphanage doorstep by chance and being asked about who she was and where she was from, she simply gave the name ‘Myra’ and replied that ‘she had no home’. With a new name and a new start with young people who were just like her, Myra continued keeping her past and real name a secret in hopes that her brother would give up searching for her one day, if he has not already done so.
