I'm liking the story so far, but I suppose lag is going to happen regardless. Sometimes we all find ourselves ready to post two or three times a day, and others, we can't post for several days because life is an ugly bitch :)
Either way, the story is fine, and hopefully we can move on to the next stage soon because I think things may be a bit stagnant.

Acer can just have the ATL PD pull the "this is our jurisdiction" card and make the FBI hand them over. Maybe one of the agents were tipped off and wanted to take over, but it was never their case to begin with.
Problem solved.
I had just assumed the dude who had Vin & JJ at gunpoint in the garage was an FBI agent, but whether or not he has to relinquish themo ver to another entity is up to @AcerRo.

And, I agree with @Xandrya, because it just makes life easier to agree with women...
Aaaaand the Feds would probably be bigger assholes in the long run. Although, ATL fuzz can be pretty hardcore no doubt, especially toward rich pricks like JJ & Vin. Nate on the other hand would probably end up someone's bitch in the slammer...and, I just derailed my train of thought.
Oh, and whatever you do, don't forget to put the beer bottle down before lighting the bottle rocket that is actually in said beer bottle. Yeah...
