Intrigued. What's the possibility of a changeling character with a book that takes dictated notes? Sort of an overall recorder of the expedition.

@Aiyanna, characters do develop their own personalities in the first few posts. It's happened to me before. Zeke kinda wandered into my head fully-formed, but Spectrum from Epic City took a few days to go from armoured claustrophobe to shy claustrophobe with a hidden heart of gold.
