@ZxyxZemon All that sounds like a good time lol. I'm thinking I might not repurpose Kagayaku. I MIGHT make someone new for this particular plot.
Gonna get a post out tonight. If not tonight then for sure tomorrow morning.
O'Menus

There was a moment of serious confusion where O'Menus had readied himself for battle. Flames peaked off his skin but as recognition swayed into familiarity, meager as it was, he loosened the tension around his sword-hand and glanced over at whom he assumed to be Oren. The pin-pricked soldier that slumped at the very maw of the Gods' once-graveyard.

That made him consider the sword. The white blade was swiped from Oren's grasp and obviously would serve better in O'Menus' hands but even mortal warriors deserved to die with their weapons. Gaze fixed on the mangled soldier: Oren, he slid from the commotion once more and strode over to the dying or dead mortal. As a God, he respected the rarity of an honorable death, so he paused three or four feet from him. He stabbed the white blade into the ground, placing his palms over the pommel and shutting his eyes.

Words slipped from his lips in a deeper, elegant tone. "For stardust you are, and unto stardust shall you return. Greater Mortal, comfort unto your soul."

An important moment of silence followed his words before O'Menus plucked the sword from the ground and turned his back to Oren, eyeing the carnage infront of him. Truly torn bodies littered the ground; armor and flesh respectfully, whole bodies and parts and pieces, charred grass and red-dewed greenery shared the land equally.

"What a mess we have uncovered," he thought aloud, finding a sense of duty somewhere in his heart. "To right this will take a mighty being and resolve. The mortals and false gods must be punished and dispersed, so that balance can be returned."
Gonna post before the day is over with. Things is getting interesting with Flora finally awake. I love how someone pointed out her name was too close to her duty as the Flower Priestess lmao.
@ZxyxZemon I agree with Van on this. The Dark Continent sounds really interesting at first but Netero said it best in the manga. Everything is just big lmao.

I feel like the most interesting stuff would happen between groups or people. Maybe if we have a Bounty Mission with our targets fleeing to the Dark Continent. We do the beginning of gathering our folks, investigating the initial incident and history of our target, encounter some traps or “distractions” via target, and all of this leads up to the discovery of them escaping to the Dark Continent. Then we have to find some way to get there through the V5 or V6.

That could work, I think.

I like the idea of islands on the way there also being potential Arcs or storylines. We could create interesting “doomed” families or characters meant to incite a sense of duty in some of our more pragmatic characters lol. Cause I know Kagayaku would be willing to go if it meant solving his affliction or righting an injustice.
@Crimson Lion Thanks for letting us know. And I’m sure we’re all waiting with bated breath lol.
@ZxyxZemonIll probably use Kagayaku since I was excited about playing him. But I’m interested in joining anything you got in mind.
I'am but I understand. Work has been hitting me hard lately.
O'Menus

O'Menus had lost interest in the manic death cry of the brain-addled soldier. For no reason in particular he actually allowed the mortal to finish, though he stared at him with indifference. He took quick note of certain words, factions, and apparent passions before pulling the white sword from the man's ankle. The soldier's blood fell away as if fleeing the surface. Again he glanced at this blade, feeling more and more impressed by it. He'd decided it was his now. Without another word to the soon-to-be-dead man, O'Menus strode away thinking that execution by fire would be too comical considering his dying words.

Sweeping over the Gods hanging around the priestess, he noticed a skittering goop of green. It went from one stiff corpse to the next until finally the Feral Goddess spotted the graveyard guest. "Could be a Divine," he offered forward without mirth, tensing his hand around the pommel of the white sword. "Even still, this is becoming annoying." An agitated flame danced up his forearm, some shreds of strength blooming inside.
Kishimoto Arcade, Local Tournament.
@Crimson Lion @Double @Blade17 - Metal Devil!

Ryoichi grasped an instant understanding of his situation even as he barely avoided the white Wing Gundam's beam saber. One of his overlays blinked out; his remaining screen stretching out to fill the space moments afterward. Bad gamble, he thought harshly. I was hoping this guy would be taken out... Would've saved his pride at the very least. That Gunpla is fast but its Fighter is clueless... Ryoichi settled into himself, feeling clearly for a certain malice.

"I'll make this quick. Hold on for a little while," he said over team coms.

The Baelstrom slowly floated, staring down the Wing Gundam with it single chilling optic. With the whirring of finely made parts, the Divine Striker slid up and opened its vicious palm; a grim claw extending from the Baelstrom's back to veil the stars and blue lightning strikes. A golden horn wading through the blackness nearby. After a time, the brash voice of the white Wing Gundam spoke. It was met with silence, then the white Gunpla lurched forward. Ryoichi reacted swiftly by pushing the Baelstrom forwards as well. He equipped his beam saber and held it at his side while holding his shield loosely over his torso. As they closed the meager distance between each other, the blackened claw stretched over the Baelstrom's back to grasp the white Wing Gundam's head and torso.
