Yang Bethlehem

Yang wiped the sweat away as she ended her training for the day, legs, arms, and body strained. More so after a fight, even though she didn't burn a lot of stamina, it still took a part of her concentration away. She quickly went up to take a quick rinse and clear herself.

Yang just came down as Guildmaster Bart made his entrance, and that's when she noted Bart's facial expression as well as the air around him.

Oh dear. She gulped as he questioned whether they took a quest related to Varjan, and she nodded mutely at that. Yang winced when he shouted at them and without a thought, went to a kneeling position similar whenever her master lectured her or the siblings at the temple.

Throughout it all, she didn't said a word in retaliation but it seems that Bart was really pissed off this time. Going so far to even shout at Neil and Haley, that soon turned ugly as more of the guildmates added their own shouts.

That ended when Titanica added her own voice to the fray, and Yang had to physically close both eyes and ears from the sheer volume. It was loud enough to be comparable to those great bells that they rang for the coming of new year, powerful enough to go right at the bones.

That only stopped when she was done, and Yang let go of her ears with a sigh of relief despite the sharp ringing after noise in her ears.

"All that said and done, Guildmaster Bart orders was still clear," Yang added her own opinion from the kneeling position as she gestured towards Bart. "We're not to take Varjan related jobs...and yet we still did."

"Not only that, our involvement with it must surely reach the Varjan more prominent members now. Moreso considering that we've been working with the rebels as well." She slowly explained it to them, she wasn't exactly that out of touch with politics and strategies after all. "We might be placed on a higher scale now, and for all intents and purposes, they may see our guild as a front for the rebellion."

"Everyone, please understand." Yang pleaded and explained to everyone, taking soft but firm tone to the rest of them. "Guildmaster Bart is only thinking for our sakes and safety, while some of us are warriors, not all of us are."

Her eyes went to Neil and Haley briefly before she continued with her explanation. "While we may clash with Varjans unwillingly in certain mission, it is still our actions that drives us into direct conflict with them."

Taking a moment to gather herself and words to sink in everyone. She steeled herself and resolve as she turned to face Bart.

"Which is why, seeing as I was the one who took the job first. Guildmaster Bart, I take full responsibility for this, all actions and consequences are mine to bear." Yang placed a hand on herself and then lowered her head to the ground completely.

She had been given plenty of chances, and so far, she had done nothing but ill for Bart.

"Thus, you may expel me as you see fit." Yang calmly and resolutely said to him even as she tried to placate the mood around the guild hall with how tensions are.

"I only ask, that you do not lay the fault with the rest. I, and I alone, should have taken the firmer stance. Your kindness, and willingness to give a chance for all of us, was something I'll never be able to repay despite all my blunders." She also spoke to Bart in an effort to calm himself. "Therefore, may perhaps you spare that chance to others as well?"

Yang awaited Bart decision, regardless of whichever choice he makes, Yang was more than willing to accept his choice.

Ditzy Stoneclub

He waved at everyone that came back, doing nothing but playing with his sandbag as he tapped it a few times to feel the gold inside of it. Ditzy can't afford to lose the gold, and most of all, it definitely can't be misplaced since he always carry the sandbag with him wherever he go!

Then that's when Bart came in, and Ditzy was about to wave to him when he saw his face. That made Ditzy stayed put in place even as Bart angrily asked whether they did anything with Varjans.

Ditzy rapidly shook his head, he hadn't known what Varjans are. So he was sure he didn't do anything bad to them.

Though others however, did, and that's when Bart absolutely fling into anger. Ditzy winced at that as he put both arms behind him and stood straight up.

This continued on, and there was just so much noise, everyone seemed to joined in as more angry shouts fly, hurtful words, and temper flared. Everything was just happening so fast, his poor mind couldn't keep up, too much information-!

That ended when a thunder like words rang throughout the house, and Ditzy opened an eye as he looked at Titanica absolutely fuming.

Ditzy also saw Yang being on the ground, and saying words in a more kindly manner to his mother. That allowed him to understand it far more easier as he tilted his head sidewards.

He tried to think of a solution for awhile, and thought hard.

Ditzy slowly walked up to Bart, and gave him the gold pouch he had earned from his own mission.

"Ditzy earned this, Ditzy can also do more errands." He said slowly to Bart softly and sheepishly. Ditzy didn't liked it when is angry or fighting one another. "So please, don't be mad?"

Yang Bethlehem

"Hey guys, wassup?" She said informally to them, and Talia. Hearing what the one-eyed monster girl said, she hummed a bit before shrugging her shoulders. "Let's leave her be for now, perhaps she just needs some time for her own."

"But the mission went better than expected, but like what Guildmaster Bart said, we'll need to lie low for a bit." Yang rubbed the back of her head bashfully and shrugged her shoulders with a sigh. "I kind of...let one of them go, Krik the beheader or something so yeah, the Vajros definitely knows who I am now."

@Lmpkio@AzureKnight

"None of us got hurt, but we're lucky that we had reinforcements. If our comrades hadn't been there-" Yang pointed her thumb to Vara and Titanica. "Things would have gotten a lot uglier and harder."

"Here, should be enough to fix the wall." Yang tossed the gold pouch to Talia before she walked outside. "I'm going to train for a bit. This experience has been...enlightening."

"See ya, later Miss Freyr." She tapped Freyr shoulder, and then to Magnus, a hand clenched on his longer before leaving. "You too, Magnus."

"I'm going to miss this wall though, much faster to get inside. Haha!" She jested as she tapped the open and exposed masonry.

With that, Yang went out to the outside and trained herself once again. This time, focusing more on how to attack through armor. She closed her eyes and focused on her old master lessons, impact and Ki training, with that she took a lower stance and recalled those moments again.

Here goes.

Yang will be available for talking during training and dinner later.

Ditzy Stoneclub

He finished picking the coin and then headed back to the guild, happy and delighted as he skipped in his step. Resulting him tripping and falling few times in between during his journey home.

Despite that, it didn't stop Ditzy good mood even as he returned to the guild.

"Hello!" He greeted everyone the moment he reached back and smiled. "I finished my job!"

"Oh, did you went out to play, Neil?" Ditzy realized when he saw Neil, he hadn't seen him from the morning till now. "I went back to see if the goblins would play with me but they left."

Ditzy looked away briefly as he recalled some of the few times where he was often left behind simply because he was slow. He pouted and felt disheartened before he smiled again. "But I got their gold! If they come back and ask for it, tell me okay? I'll give it back to them."

@Lmpkio

Ditzy lifted his sandbag for Neil to see before he slung it over his shoulder. He then looked to Titanica, Neil and Talia innocently and asked. "Hey, wanna play tag with me? I'm bored."

Yang Bethlehem

She sniffed at Krik getaway, no doubt that the person was just talking nonsense to save his own skin. Yang cracked her knuckles at that and turned her attention back to the battle. With her joining in the fray, the battle was as good as won.

Not that she did much anyways, Yang thought to herself as they moved the escaped prisoners to their agree location meetup. That's when she met with Maria again and the former was absolutely delighted with their efforts. The cheers that erupted from them made her felt awkward but it helped her mood and morale.

At least, I did something right. She smiled and bowed to the everyone around them politely, taking in the praise humbly even as Maria gave her the pouch of gold.

"Thank you." She accepted with both of her hands respectfully, Yang took a brief look at Maria and smiled. She didn't know why, but she felt a kindred and familiarity with her despite meeting her only twice. Without thinking, she reached out and pat Maria head affectionally. "Stay strong, alright?"

That being done and as they walked back home, a pouch full of gold as Yang toss it up and down. She listened to Freyr and grinned at that.

"Hah, that Krik guy wasn't that strong." Yang shrugged it off with her shoulder but her thoughts wondered briefly if whether the knights she fought just happen to be weak rather than her being strong.

She'll have to self-meditate over this, confidence can easily translate to arrogance at times. Not to mention knights have been presenting a problem for her, particularly their armor and shields.

"But I'll have to take some physical conditioning," Yang muttered as her mind settled to strengthening her body. "I wonder if our Guildmaster would allow me to purchase some metal armor for me to train on."

"Anyways, since we're done early, think we should head back with all this gold?" She smiled to the rest of them, including their new additions of Titanica, Vara and Neil. "Oh, by the way, where were you two last night? I didn't see you made your way to the guild."

"Also Neil, did you left early this morning to fetch them?" Yang made a few small talk to them.

Ditzy Stoneclub

Ditzy took some time to find the place, retracing his steps slowly from his memory. Soon, he did found the place but it was devoid of anyone and it was in a mess.

Aw, they left. He pouted at that. Ditzy had been wanting to play with them, he didn't even manage to say goodbye to them.

Dejected, Ditzy looked around to see where they went and noticed something shiny on the ground. He bend down to picked it up and brushed the dirt aside before he realized what it was.

A shiny coin. Eyes studied the pretty glint it had when it reflected the sun as fingers traced around it. Ditzy wondered what's it doing on the ground since his father often panicked when he drops the coins. Now that he stopped to look, he noticed that there was a fair amount of them scattered around.

He cooed briefly as his brian slowly worked and brightening up like a lamp when an idea struck him. He'll help them pick up the coin and keep them safe when they come for it.

With that, Ditzy went ahead to pick up the coins. He looked around and saw a perfect place to keep it safe as his eyes fell to the large sandbag he carried around.

The leather hide around it was good enough to act as a large purse, and it'll never get lost since he often carry it.

He was a genius! Ditzy proudly thought as he removed the inner weight and stuff the gold coins at the bottom of his sandbag. Once he done, the sandbag weight a bit more but Ditzy barely felt the weight change. Though if he smacked someone with it, there'll be a few imprints of coins showing.

Though another conundrum came to him, how was he going to tell them he was holding their coin? He hummed as he looked at a tree, then to a rock, and to the tree again. A single light tap to the rock which shattered in half, Ditzy took the sharper points and slowly carve a message to be left behind.

I got your gold, find me at the Guild and I'll give it back. -Ditzy Stoneclub.

He felt proud at the message and with thatm journey back home to the guild. Hopefully he can play with the goblins soon.

Don't sweat it, take your time and sort things out. That's more important.

Yang Bethlehem

Yang felt the satisfying impact of her foot landing, the warlord shield buckled under the impact and it shattered into pieces. With that, her continued momentum sent the man to the ground painfully.

A slight shift of her weight and follow up, it'll be over for him. Her blood was boiling and she felt her heart pumped ever faster than before. A single exhale of breath was loosed from her mouth but she maintained her focus.

Hearing the words of Krik sickened her, that someone named the beheader would be so cowardly. The urge to just end his life came to her briefly but she quelled that thought immediately.

Hers was a path that doesn't travel the path of carnage. Giving in to these urges was to go against everything she was taught.

So she slowly knelt down and placed a knee on Krik chest firmly, further pining him down.

"Fine," Yang said even as her hand reached for the keys, her eyes never leaving Krik movements as she kept her guard up in case he tried anything funny. "Go, become a farmer, merchant, whatever. Don't make me catch you doing this again."

With that, she leaped from him and grabbed the keys. Keys in tow, she walked backward until she reached the wagon and handed the keys to the prisoners. Yang's attention was never away from Krik, she was being cautious of these types of people. You would never know if he decides to suddenly attack again when he was the upper hand.

Ditzy Stoneclub

"Bye bye!" Ditzy said even as he waved to them, looks like they know exactly what to do. Probably also better since he didn't really know how to make Ambran the best, so maybe the Zipangu people know better?

Ditzy did felt a little bad and he didn't know why though. Perhaps he had misunderstood what was to be done?

But that was the job done and he was given a treat, something his mother and father do from time to time. So he did a good job surely!

Ah well. Ditzy wondered if there was anything he could do. Then an idea came back to him.

I want to go back and play with those goblin tribe! Ditzy smiled and beamed at that, he never really got to play with them afterward. They had to leave because it was getting dark, but since he finished his job early Ditzy was free to play until then!

With that, he set out and tried to recall the steps to finding them again.
@The Irish Tree

It's cool, It's the end of the year, tons of stuff to do. Jobs aside, I'm also prepping stuff for my family too. Take your time and just solve everything.

Yang Bethlehem

Where's the key, where's the key?! She thought in between strikes, even as her eyes searched around for it.

That's when the prisoners shouted something to her and she whipped her head towards them. They pointed and gestured to the red-knight desperately in a broken language, but it was obvious as to what they meant. Her eyes fell onto the large knight and studied her target.

"He's the one? Alright, just sit tight." She smiled as she slammed both of her fists together and cracked her neck. "I'll get you all out soon."

Seeing that person block an ice and arrow and discarding it so easily, made a small part of her laced with worry as she recognized that it was no greenhorn. Even as the man tried to reorganize the party, he noticed her and roared a challenge.

Yang smile turned into a large grin, the blood in her was boiling and heart raced. Yes, this time, she was fully in her element. The past few days of mistakes and failures weighed on her heavily. Somewhere in her heart, she was never more happier.

"Beheader? You're in luck then." Yang slammed a foot down, taking her stance as she brought her arms together. Ready to take on the man with nothing but her body and impromptu knuckle duster beads. "I'm a monk, and I'll be reading the rites soon."

"Yours, that is." She stated coolly and calmy with a smirk even as she fist-pumped to herself mentally. Congratulating herself on such comeback. In between, her foot latched onto a fallen soldier discarded sword.

Then like a viper, she shot out her leg and sent the sword flying forward. Spinning wildly as it aimed squarely towards Krik, Yang took the opportunity to move like a flash with the distraction and head straight forward to Krik.

When she was close enough, she used the wagon close to them as a foothold and propelled herself upwards. With that, she shifted her center and kept her legs tucked together. Teeth clenched tightly and her body filled with Ki as she performed one of the signature moves.

Like a wild tiger pouncing on its prey, Yang aimed her powerful leg towards his head. From Krik view and perhaps, the trick of the shadows with the sun behind Yang, her eyes became predatory and slit as her silhoutte fell on him.

Ditzy Stoneclub

"Okay!" Ditzy followed the two man as they led the way. Ditzy didn't manage to see much this time as he was on the job, but everything looked the same. At least, if the blur around him was an indication. He was still wondering what the job actually entails throughout the entire journey.

That's when they reach some house that look bright and colorful, Ditzy wasn't sure what exactly it was but it seemed like a fun place to be.

Ioseb then shouted something and pointed at something. Ditzy followed at what it was and saw a trio of Zipangu people, with some sort of weird instruments alongside them. When he was asked to stop them, Ditzy blinked for a moment before an idea popped to his head.

He raised his sandbag weapon, gave it a twirl with one finger and then snapped it forward like a slingshot. His sandbag then lurched forward quickly, arced down and then slammed into one of the Zipangu people, knocking him forward and into his other compatriots as they tumbled down like a pile of dominoes.

"Done!" Ditzy smiled innocently to the two as he ran forward to catch his quarry. Years of practicing in throwing his sandbag at trees or rocks had paid off, and he hadn't used all his strength like last time. He was also partly inspired by how Freyr and the arrow competition that he had seen previously as well.

I can't use a bow, but I can throw things well! Ditzy thought with a skip in his step. Once he was caught up to the three Zipangu people, he waved at them as he stood at their side.

"Hello, want to help me in making Ambran number one!?" He said, completely missing the point of his mission and job. "Oh, and these two wanted to talk to you."

If they tried to run, Ditzy would simply hold one of them by the wrist gently and it would be impossible for that one to escape from his grasp. It would be akin to being clapped in iron manacle as Ditzy grip will not budge no matter what.

Yang Bethlehem

Yang smiled at Freyr concerns and raised a fist in assurance. "No worries, it's better I'm down there by myself. Gives me plenty of room to attack."

And if anything happens, at least no one would be hurt first. She told herself even as a small part of her said otherwise as they would only get in the way but Yang shook that notion off quickly.

"Alright." She patted her knees and readied herself to reach her position, smiling as she raised a thumbs up to encourage them.

Then quietly and keeping low, she moved silently like a panther amongst the terrain with nary a sound. Almost disappearing as she approached the unsuspecting convoy. Controlling even her breathe, she was soon close to the guards.

Then when Haley did her distraction, Yang took this chance to get even closer and peeked at the foot soldiers. In her mind, she plotted and identify the most efficient way to get through them.

Knifehand, backhand, solar plexus, neck- Yang made a list as she continued her steady breathing rhythm, muscles relaxed but readied to explode into action. Taking one last deep breathe, Yang fingers twitched as she moved from her hiding spot.

That's when she felt something off from afar, she can't pin exactly what it was but it is growing larger. Briefly, she wondered if it was some wild or untamed monster girl that decided to prey upon the convoy.

Yang instinct was half-right, as she felt something massive but was completely unprepared for the large form of a monster that seemed to appear from the mythical tales told by her master and story-tellers of old. Her mouth opened in a brief moment of shock and stupor as she craned her neck upwards.

That's when the glowing blue aura brightened and Yang felt her hackles rise, there was a large energy being built up and it didn't take long for her to connect the dots.

Changing her plans quickly, she headed instead for the prisoners rather than the guards. Her eyes quickly scanned for the warden or whoever has a key with them.

With that appearing, whatever it was, all manner of subtlety is thrown out of the window and speed was now the key. Targetting everyone near the prisoners, she was like lightning as she was among them in a flash. Swift, powerful and precise strikes aimed to knock out the guards, Yang was a blur to their eyes as she lashed out to them.

Ditzy Stoneclub

Ditzy nodded slowly as he looked at loseb, and then the man who addressed him. Ditzy wondered if this was his boss even as he listened to him.

He didn't really get how people unwilling to adopt culture was hindering them being Ambran first, it didn't seemed like it was a competition. If anything, Ditzy also wondered how does one adopt a culture when it's not even physically real.

Come to think of it, what does the word culture mean? Ditzy wondered at the back of his head before his attention came back as he was asked whether he was ready to help them.

"Of course! I'll help in making Ambran First!" Ditzy delightfully said as he raised an arm in a cheer.

Maybe they want to make Ambran the best city? It does sounds logical since they're practicing and all. So they're probably trying to make Ambran first, and the Zipanguese are not doing Ambran things but Zipanguese stuff instead.

Hmm, so I have to make them do Ambran things? That sounds easy!

"So where's the Zip-pant-geese are?" Ditzy cheerfully said despite absolutely slaughtering the pronounciation, though his mind went back to Saburo and he recalled everything about him. He seemed nice, perhaps they'll be too?

@PaulHaynek

You forget about Ditzy update portion.
Yang Bethlehem

@13org Freyr @AzureKnight Nagare

"What? Don't be silly?!" Yang laughed loudly as she waved her hands towards the Viera comments nonchalantly and seemed to hear nothing of his next word. Whether out of ignorance or disbelief, none can say. "Everyone knows that there's no such thing as a male monster in this world! Otherwise, we would be getting more of them!"

Granted, everyone here dressed so oddly that they could pass for one like. "But yes, this mission is going to be a little tough. Come on then, let's do our best."

With that, they set out on their journey.

Taking a look at their quarry, she looked at the challenges she was to be facing. With so many knights and foot soldiers, and the two at the front seemed to stand out the most.

Not good. She glanced towards the beads she had, it seemed that perhaps for once, she was reconsidering her weapons. So far, the beads served her well but against tough armored caliber opponents, she'll need something more...bigger.

Yang then tightened her fist however as she let out a low breathe, concentrating and psyching herself up. Crushing armor and metal with her bare hands is merely one part of the challenge in her road, not to mention her master can no doubt do the same.

"This is going to be hard." Yang chipped in before her ears picked up a slight wind disturbance.

Yang was mildly surprised when Haley, the siren appeared but she kept a quiet poker face as she joined them. Listening to her suggestion made her frown as she pointed out a flaw in it.

" I can knock out their ground soldiers if you keep their attention, probably some of the knights two but those two look like trouble." Yang volunteered for the close encounter among them, since she seemed like the one equipped and far more trained for it. "I'm concerned that they wouldn't see reason with you and simply fire an arrow towards you."

Ditzy Stoneclub

@PaulHaynek

Ditzy began his journey with his sandbag, wondering just exactly what he would need to do even as he head out alone.

Come to think of it, this was the most he spend time alone as there's always someone near to help or guide him. He wondered if he can do this alone without anyone help.

Then a sudden surge of confidence well up from him, of course he can! That's why he's here, isn't it?

With that, he continued his journey to Ambran. So far, it didn't seem that different as he approached the town so far. There was those in the hood and those that seemed weird. Ditzy wondered about it until something snapped out of his thoughts as two people seemed to stop him.

The next words seemed unintelligible, and Ditzy tilted his head with a finger tapping his horns trying to understand what he just said. It seemed like a mumble of words but he brightened up like a lamp as he decided to introduced himself.

"Hello, I'm Ditzy Stoneclub! I'm here from the guild to help Ambran be first!" Ditzy said to them enthusiastically and innocently, though he didn't know how exactly he was going make Ambran first.

Still, doesn't mean he not's going to try!
