Personality: Rick isn't antisocial, but a loner by choice. He enjoys hiking, and urban exploration, activities where he can test himself and prove that he's capable, even if only to himself. He's often quiet at first, but speaks up more as he get's comfortable with a person.

Background:  Rick comes off as a very humble boy. The humility was just an act,  however- really, he just didn't want to draw attention to himself. His aim was to be less of a target to his bullies,  but it would actually have the opposite effect. 
His self tought "parkour" was a product of a persistent bully situation. He's never told anyone,  but there's a "gang" that likes to chase him, and they've taken every chance they could find since he was 9. This is also why he first got into hiking with a school club; "the wilderness" was a place where he knew that his bullies wouldn't find him. 
As mentioned,  he hasn't told anyone about this- he didn't want to worry his mother(a nurse), and doesn't want his father(a firefighter) to think him a coward. He doesn't want anyone to pity him,  and he fears it'll get worse if he tells his teachers. So, he keeps others at arms length.
Still,  he wishes somebody would just have his back, and hasn't connected the dots on his self isolation; arms length is still within reach- he just has to reach out.

@rush99999so,  if we don't have any other people interested by,  I dunno,  Wednesday the 7th,  I'll create the thread and we'll begin the "session zero" stuff such as character creation. If you aren't familiar with Savage Worlds,  don't worry,  I have digital copies of the books we'll be using that I can share
