One Piece Role Play-ignore post count

@jynmi88Today was unusually busy so I couldn't really respond until now but yeah, basically that. Actually, I had a vague idea of how to start things out if you're interested. Basically the first two characters are former members of a weak and pathetic pirate crew (probably to the point that they were infamous for how terrible they were) and after an encounter gone wrong they just hopped into one of the lifeboats and left. And then one of them basically decided that they could do so much better than the old captain and that they should form their own crew with blackjack and hookers and, well... "Aw screw it, let's just go after One Piece! You only live once, after all!" Or... Something. Probably starting off in East Blue I guess? Hmmm.

Of course if you already have something else in mind then just ignore my rambling. ^^;

Since we aren't a group, is there anything we really need to discuss before starting (aside from character sheets) because I kind of see this beginning with our characters alone on a boat, kind of drifting? That is, unless there's some way you'd like to start that's different?

@jynmi88I always try to push for Strawhats-esque pirate action and I haven't changed my tune just yet, so... There you go. And yeah, I'm fine with playing half the crew myself but it's probably best to start off with one character each and work our way up (but hey, the series started with just Luffy and Zoro so that works out I guess). The only real problem I see with this setup is that half the crew might end up being girls since I'm better at drawing them than guys, but we'll see how things turn out. XD

Also yeah, doing this in a thread is probably a good idea. My other 1x1s at the moment are both PM-based and I feel like my post count is going to go all screwy if I don't post more on the actual forum. XD

Y'know... Why not. Might work out better this way I guess, since One Piece RPs never seem to work out for me for various reasons. 1x1s seem to be going a lot better for me than group RPs right now anyways. XD

Direct, real-time conversations seem a lot more personal to me than just posting on a forum, and I'm not comfortable at all doing that with people I don't know. I do use Discord, but the server I'm on is just with people I've known for years now because of this. Sorry.

To be honest, I always feel way too awkward on chats unless it's with people I've known for a while. ^^; I mean I'm bad at small talk in general but yeah. So even if it gets made I'm probably sitting out on the whole Discord thing.

@HammermanMmmm, probably the easier one to write anyways, since her sheet was mostly done whilst I was still trying to figure out half of Lily's. XD Anyways, edited in that thing to their sheets I guess, and... Really the only thing I think I need to figure out for them is what obligatory power they get upon entering a fantasy world. Trying my hardest to shy away from the allure of basically giving Yuriko the God Hand, though.

Anyways, hoping things are okay so far. If there's any problems, let me know.

@ProProHuh, interesting. Never thought of it like that, since I've been into anime for a long time now (and tokusatsu for somewhat less long) and I've gotten used to bad romanizations. XD The more you know I guess.
