Hello young traveler. You have reached the home of the young and very intrepid River Maiden. You may call her any name you would like, but she prefers Mai or River. She is very willing to roleplay in any situation, and will try her hardest to post at least once a day. Meloi woke up to a forested area... Upside down. Dangling from a branch of a tree, the blond righted herself on the wooden limb to let the blood that was undoubtedly pooled in her head to reach the rest of her body. 'Where am I?', the girl wondered, searching the area for any familiar landmarks and finding none. Why would she be sleeping upside down in a place like this? She didn't know. Her face gained an agitated loom as she tried to remember, her tail swishing beind her-
Wait... Tail?
Sure enough, a bright yellow tail with black stripes was attached to her bottom, along with a shiny red gem that was resting on it's tip. She didn't remember having a tail... Or anything else for that matter. Absentmindedly, she quickly caught the yellow limb to stop it's movement, and let go even faster. That felt... wierd. Shaking her thoughts away, she got down from the tree and started walking in a random direction, looking for something or someone that could tell her where she was, and WHO she was for that matter.
Finally sighting the back of a building after a few minutes of searching, Meloi went around it to try to go inside, only two see a sort of stand off between two groups. One group was comprised of 4 purple slime creatures of varying sizes, with one larger than the rest. A Muk and 3 Grimers, her mind recognized. The second group only was comprised of 3 members: a teen of jet black hair with sparks of flame within his mouth, a blue haired girl with a wreath of bubbles around her neck, and a young green haired boy with a frilly, comfortable looking outfit and a translucent green liquid over his skin. A Houndoom, Froakie, and Shellos. However, her mind told her that they looked different from what they should, confusing the blond. Meloi stayed behind the structure, observing the confrontation to see what would happen, and trying to make sense of the new thoughts plus information that was running through her head.
