I noticed some of you are attempting a gradient effect with the names? v;
Here's some helpful links with colours and some such that I use for that.

The first one is a bit more complex but detailed with the colours, the second is more simple and straight forward.
Certainly an interesting batch of SOLIDERS thus far, and more to come!
It keeps me on my toes, that's for sure.
Mr. Hobo was the first, official, character so I honestly didn't think about it till now.

Anyways, I'll come up with quick bit for the probability of magic-special abilities sometime today and update it.
SOLIDERS possess super-human equivalent abilities. There can be some relation to the Aeon in terms of specialties that can influence and alter the SOLIDERS personality and some such later on. Right now, we're in the preliminary stages, "Tier One" of our bad-assery.

As for magic and special attacks... Let me think on this, because you propose a valid point. I'm thinking it'll be applied as a low-level type, again "Tier One", into your skill sets. It can be linked to the Aeon, like Mr. Hobo's scythe deal.

They're unaware because of their minds being swiped and purged about the experiments and alterations that went on in Fort Lullin. The SOLIDERS think it was just some form of special training they endured before coming back to the capital. Some might feel strange, or that nagging itch in their minds, but who knows what happened, really.

Our Limits/Overdrives are only seen in battle, and some might be unaware they even have it. Others might receive a peculiar twinge that tells them to do something and suddenly there's giant, flaming sword descending from somewhere.

It's more like a weakened, projected form of the Aeon, but I get what you'r referring to and I've already discussed that with the player. They'll amend that. c;

You're on the right track, the Aeons however are not involved in battle, SOLIDERS are unaware of them. Till much later.
So Last Ditch would cause the enemy to switch sides and feel the impulse to protect your character indeed.

The Limits/Overdrives gain power through out the story, right now, consider us using Tier One of our abilities.
There's two more potential characters, that I know of, that have the Colourless/Grey as well, but that's as far as I know.

And wonderful to see you again, as well!
Well hell, welcome aboard then!
You're good.
AA should be your focus in that case. Albeit if you find the time...

Aah hell..
I'll find the time. c;

@Hellis - Oh man, I want to join this, but then I'm thinking: do I have the time?
..But then, there's FF intricacies here.
And then, if I do, I'll have to drop out from AA.

So, I'm just severely on that line and tip-toeing around until I officially decide. β™₯
