What about making her powers of light look identical to his but with light? She can move through light unseen, see in the brightest of light, manipulate light into objects, and make blast of light energy. Anything he does with dark she can do with light. The catch being they have to be within a certain distance from each other to work their powers. And when they work together, their abilities become stronger and may eventually lead them into being able to create a pocket world?

Their powers could bounce off each other well. He would need light to make shadows and she would need his darkness to define her light. Yin and Yang. And since the symbol itself shows that there is a little of the opposite power in each one, we can even go down the path of him being able to control aspects of light to varying degrees and vice versa.

I'm glad you like the symbol idea! It could be another thing to hide and another reason to come back together. I was thinking it would appear on the inner wrist?

Their own world yes, and only equal if they choose to be. They can make powers strong in the world too. It would be as limited as the imagination makes it.

Yes, I really liked the idea of darkness manipulation and I see where you are going with the Yin and Yang. We could do a lot with that actually! The first idea that came to mind is when they use their powers the first time, a mark appears on their arms. A yin for Adam and a Yang for Ciara. How would her light work though? I know that with darkness he could form objects, slip through shadows, enter a world of darkness, be able to see in pitch black, darkness energy blast, ect. Im curious about how you see light working for her. And how would this be combined with the pocket world?

He wouldn't care about Ciara's sister for a while, simply because of how he was brought up to distrust. So if her sister showed up, he probably would rather fight her then hid from her. Is that making sense?

Yeah, I am. It has been the most helpful site so far. I want to find a great power for them to share, but at the same time I don't want ti to be too over powered.

In the pocket world? I was think it would be a power to let them create a world anytime they wanted. Basically, they could change the rules of reality anytime they created a pocket and when they left the pocket, it would disappear. This was an idea I had on the fly, it is welcomed to be changes, tweaked, or scrapped ^.^

I liked it not because it was dark but because it let them create a world in a separate plane where they would have control and no other powers would work in. I guess instead of darkness they could have the power to create a temporary pocket world in which they get to create the rules. So they could not allow powers to be used or have no gravity, or anything they wanted the place to be.
