Sounds good to me! There may come times when he will want to talk to her. Especially on the days Elena has put him through the ringer. I think the communication thing will be useful and nice. I am good with her teaching him the spell!

Haha, kind of yes. I told you your post gave a perfect introduction for the Marrok and his traitor actually. The garlic helped him find the place but it was really Jessie who was like the beacon drawing him to the house.

It was clear that Avina had truly hurt Devin, but on the same hand she was tired of him walking away from her rather than talking to. It was as if after their first kiss, everything had gone downhill. He looked hurt and betrayed when her pack came up behind her and it seemed like she could do nothing right since then. Even now, Devin glanced between her and Keil as if once again she had done something wrong. Avina looked over at Keil where he sat leaning against the brick building holding his throat. She Wolf demanded his life, but Avina could not bring herself to kill him. She was not one to murder in cold blood.

Devin pulled her attention back to him when he started talking. If he was listening, he would have felt her heart speed up as he confessed his feelings. He was right, even though he was not sure if he could trust her, he still led her to his safe house. He had chosen her. When he mentioned the time she had put his hand over her heart, it made her smile and reach out to his hand to put it on her heart again, her own hand resting on top of his. “There is still only one heartbeat, and it beats for you now.” She whispered as he used his free hand to wipe her tear away. “I’m sorry.”

Her heart skipped a beat and her mouth fell open. It all made sense to her now, the way he walked away with a wild look in his eyes. She had never thought that making him submit would hurt him. It was natural for her to make her wolves to submit to end a fight. “I never meant to hurt you. Making a wolf submit is a way of ending a fight for werewolves, it proves our strength and dominance.”

Devin took a step closer to her, making her tilt her head up to look at him. “What about last night when you walked away because my pack showed up?” She asked softly even as she leaned him to his cold embrace. “You know what, it doesn’t even matter. I hope you know I never meant to hurt you in any way.” She started to lift up onto her toes and tilted her head with the intent to kiss him.

“Avina!!” Jessie’s high pitched call cause Avina to pull away from Devin and cover her ears with a slight growl.

“Avina, you are going to want to see this.” Brice said in a low tone but panic was still evident in his voice. Avina looked up at Devin as she pulled her hands from her ears.

“He is going to make you kill him. You should have listened to me and walked away from this monster.” Keil said as he scrambled into the open back door.

“Get inside.” Avina pushed Devin towards the house as she looked behind her. The sun was starting to peek over the trees but they were will in the shade of the trees, but it was the white and gray speckled wolf with shining red eyes that made her heart skip a beat. “Go! Go! Go!” Avina pushed Devin harder and ran after him to the safety of the house. Avina turned to shut the door behind her but paused for just a moment when she saw that the Marrok had not moved. He was playing with them.

“Avina!” Jessie squealed again. Avina slammed the door shut and ran upstairs to see what had her pack members all distressed. Jessie stood by the window near the door looking at something on the ground. Avina pulled her out of the way and looked at the ground to see bulbs of garlic placed in a peculiar pattern on the ground by the door. “What does that have to do with anything? More importantly, how did he find us? No one knew where we went.” Avina asked in a slight panic.

Brice grabbed her by the shoulders and turned her to face him. “Breath. It does not matter how he found us Avina, we have to deal with the fact that he has.”

Avina pulled away from his hands and took a steading breath, she was panicking and she needed to pull herself together. “We are sure that the doors will keep his out?” She asked when she opened her eyes to look for Devin.

I think I figured it out! I worked with what I had, tweaked it, then brought in the Marrok to top it all off!

There is a small chance she might be able to bring his walls back down. I am thinking of ending their time together this time by bringing in Jay looking for Adam which make him want to hide and protect Ciara. I don't think she would either, it is just the feeling he has at the moment. He probably will not cave into kissing her for a good while. Then again, I didn't expect him to get that close this soon.

I hope she can too. I would like to see them part on good terms. Though I agree with what you said because I am not sure she can change his attitude at this point. Then again, she might. Oh?!? How would she get the message to him??

Hmm... I am not sure what his type is. You have Jay who is about as cold heart-ed as he is, but he is also starting to like Ciara. I think he goes for those who tend to be supportive and understanding. :-/ That question has me stumped. Though if you are curious about Ciara having a shot, she does. If she wanted too, she could probably kiss him and he wouldn't necessarily pull away.

That's a good thing! And it also means Adam is getting hooked on her rather he will admit it or not. And I am a little bit, it feels like I can't get into her mind set. I have some written but it feels really choppy and out of character to me.

Those games sound fun too! To bad we don't use the same game system, we could play together if we did.

Either way, Adams defense is up so it might take a bit for him to bring those walls down again. He might tell her why he is saying no, depending on how she approaches the situation. I know, I'm excited to see how him and his dad get along too!

I did not expect him to get that close either, actually. It just kind of fit with the flow of the post. I kind of like that it did happen that way though! I am so glad you liked the post!! I really wasn't sure where I was going to take it but once I started going, it just seemed to fall together. Unlike Avina at the moment xD I cannot wait to see Ciara's reaction to him almost kissing her.

I am awful at them, I tend to button mash. Lol! But I would still play with those who bet me just to learn to get better.

He did call her stupid because he is trying to keep her from healing him because it would only mean more trouble for him. His defense went up in full force. And even if they end on bad terms, he would still come out of curiosity, though he will not be nearly as nice if they depart on bad terms again. I agree! Truly written in the stars! It might give Adam's dad a reason to wake up and start trying to help his son out. Right now he is hiding in the shadows and is down on himself.
