Maeve

The Celtic woman barely noticed Alistair dabbing at the blood on her face, clearing it away. She focused on Cam, making sure that the young student was okay. She, much like Alistair, had heard horror stories of trying to teleport through the ground. Seen a few of them herself too. Suppressing a shudder, she did a quick scan of Cam once more. Assured that the young student was indeed okay, she breathed a sigh of relief. Maeve's reaction to the monotonous boy was immediate and hostile. She glared at the student, fists clenching again. She had been denied one fight and thrown into another that was completely one sided and not in her favor. She was looking for a fight that would be relatively equal, and this new student was offering her the perfect opportunity. It helped she automatically disliked him for insulting the kid she had just pulled out of the ground. "Fuck off. If you want to survive the next five seconds you'll leave." She snapped, letting Alistair speak and continuing to glare at the newcomer. It was clear by her gaze that she hoped he said or tried something that would give her an excuse to attack him in front of Alistair.

Of course, all plans like that were immediately forgotten when Maeve heard the alarms and the Chrono. Rage fled into wariness and the knowledge that she was certainly a puppy about to be stuck in the middle of a vicious dog fight. If the Chrono was worried by whatever was coming, she certainly didn't want to be in the vicinity when it arrived. Maeve grabbed the student she had saved and began to pull him along. She had just saved him, damn it, and she wasn't going to let him be killed by whatever was happening. As they passed by the Chrono, Maeve spoke to him. "Come on. We're getting to a-"

The world was suddenly turned into blinding light and rubble. Maeve snatched the boy and attempted to cover him with her body, certain she was about to find out what death was like. When she heard the shrieking and the Chrono speak, Maeve looked cautiously up. And immediately regretted it. Some...horrifying monstrosity was being attacked by the Chrono, and was completely unaffected. As Geko ordered them to flee, Maeve didn't need encouragement. "Lets get out of here." She whispered to Cam, carefully pulling him back. She didn't want to attract the attention of that...thing.

Kiara

Kiara was thrown back by the cafeteria suddenly being engulfed in a laser beam. She had exactly one moment to cry out, and then she was tumbling on the ground, coming to a violent stop against a tree and listening dazedly too the shrieking and yelling. Eric was shouting in her ear and Kiara really didn't need his input to tell her that she was in a very dangerous situation and that not moving right now would soon result in her death. Groaning, her clothing torn, skin bleeding, she picked herself up and surveyed the area. Her eyes immediately spotted what remained of Ben. "A Vile." She muttered to herself, spitting blood to the side. I think I knocked a tooth loose. Idly, she probed the tooth in question with her tongue before heading towards the nearest of her companions, Sparks, one eye on the fight going on. She tossed away her cloak. It was ruined anyways, and would only serve as an attractant too the Vile. "We need to get moving, or we could be drawn into a fight with the Vile. And none of us would survive that."

Sish snarled in fury as only a finger was removed, the Kel-Dor slipping away before he could do anymore damage. Sish only registered that Koren was speaking to him, and that the Watchman had been the one to save the Kel-Dor's life. He ignored Alat's babbling in favor of focusing on the Watchman. He snarled, freeing one hand and sending Force Lightning crackling towards Koren, a strong Force Push closely following it. He whirled and answered Alat's roar with a enraged bellow of his own, his free hand catching and stopping the table as it arced towards him. Sish bared his teeth in hatred, lightsaber flicking out towards the Kel-Dor. Unfortunately, Alat had moved just as he attacked, and the lightsaber missed. Sish threw the table viciously at the Kel-Dor's retreating body, enhanced by another Force push. He followed close behind, right around the same time gas began pouring from the vents. As soon as he felt it begin to affect his body, Sish bellowed in rage again, lashing out with lightning in the Kel-Dor's direction.

The rage suddenly disappeared and Sish hit the floor, unconsciousness rapidly claiming him and thankfully replacing the damnable weakness. He remained so as the Troopers took him away to Nyiss's quarters.
Due to the fact I don't trust Sish not to murder us in the cells, I've moved up the Gas attack to today. I'm sorry for the inconvenience but Sish is a bit relentless and well, he needed to be muzzled. I think all agree with that. :p

....reluctantly I agree. :p

And let's not forget the success of Escre's plot to de-power all gods and turn them into body-less presences.

You mean the failure because Invictus and Fate would have inevitably screwed him over because they did not just give all the Gods life to have one angry emotionless one make them all useless. :D

Well before we get into any specifics whatsoever we'd have to answer this question, <Snipped quote>

Basically everything else would depend on whether we view this as a remake or a continuation. I'm dubious as to how successful this could be if it was a continuation so I definitely favor the idea of just restarting with a fresh and blank slate. Granted, I realize that everybody gets attached to the storyline and their characters and so just totally restarting might not sound appealing, but summer is a long ways down the road and I've already forgotten what I was going to do with Ialu. In any case, while it might not be ideal it probably has a much better chance of actually succeeding.

Perhaps it could be both? A fresh start, but this millions of years of history with Galbar you're suggesting could encompass the storylines that happened here. Rise of Ialu, the battle for Garakai, the fall of Sauranath, etc etc.
@Kho@Cyclone

I'm not so sure #1 will work. We'd have to decide who did what and who won what war. Unless you mean the gods arrive just as the earth is already populated?

What if Koren gave you a hug? Would you feel better?

Sish would stab him. In the stomach. And face. And arm. ANd leg. And just about everywhere else. =D

Because Hugs burn him.
@Rtron Oh.

Okay.

In your next post, as Sish and Koren have a thing can he notice how shit just got kinda messed up and Koren lost his shit in your next post? :P

Of course. Well. After he's done being rage mode. Rage doesn't do good for critical thinking.
@Rtron Then how did he leap away at the end of the post!

Hah.

Riddle me THAT.
