Serena rolled her eyes as she noticed Vellios eyeing Tanya, chuckling as the other woman replied in her unique way. She finished collecting all the usable scrap and materials from Sal's corpse, lifting the destroyed droid with her biotics to her work table. As they went through the Mass Relay, Serena was already working on ripping out what wasn't fried, grumbling at her bot the entire time. "All you had to do was work, but noooooo, you haaaaad to blow up didn't you? Couldn't just cut me a break one little time and not explode...you piece of garbage..this ship probably runs better than you..."
Serena looked up as their pilot finally announced they had arrived, letting out a light laugh at the description of what was happening outside. Sounds pretty much like home. Just with more aliens. She thought, finally stepping over to strap on her light armor. She had become pretty good at getting armored quickly (being suddenly attacked as you were trying to defend the low paying innocent people you'd decided to help kinda made this skill a necessity) and so she was almost finished when her Omni-tool beeped a warning. "Hellooooo. Someone's sticking their nose where it doesn't belong." Serena said, partially to Vellios and partially to herself as she began to work on isolating whoever it was from getting too much access to her omni-tool.
Given that Mirage was speaking both from her Omni-tool and the ship's comm systems, it didn't take Serena much guessing to figure out who had been messing with her Omni-tool. She sent a brief VI message to him as he gave his speech. This hadn't been the firs time someone supposedly on her side had put something in her Omni-tool without her permission.
"Next time ask. I nearly sent a virus back to you."
Message sent she focused on everyone as they began to introduce themselves after Vellios. She paid particular interest to the explanation of the area they were going to hit here on Omega. Pirates, Batarians of course, holed up in a bottle neck. Serena could only muster a tiny bit of pity. The things Vellios is gonna do to them. Especially with such a lethal crew at his back..still murderous pirates though. She merely raised an eyebrow at Alex's tiny grin, unable to keep from smiling at the other human herself. Plenty of biotics to go around, Turians who can pilot a ship, a medic, a Krogan who Barat would have despised, and a few Asari to make a nice round mix. All we need is a Salarian and we could have a killer sitcom.
When the cook stopped introducing himself (Serena nodding in approval with his words of keeping their target alive) Serena stepped forward. "Serena Mathews. As Tanya so duly noted I'm more talented with VI's, Mechs and drones. I can program VI's, hack into various things, primarily mechs and VI's, I'm Alliance trained so I can help Tanya make this ship and the vehicles 'fucking flawless' and," She looked at their pilot (who she definitely would have to keep an eye on. People always say they don't go looking for dirty laundry but you never know...), recognizing her as the turian with the robot arm. "I can do maintence on robotics. So if you ever need repairs, upgrades, I'm your girl. Given my training I'm able to hold my own in a fight but Vellios is the one who does the most killing. I happen to agree with Marco. We get more money and justice is better than vengeance." She glanced over at Hazan.
"I'm a biotic, though a weak one. I can create barriers and lift things. Dex is right though. We have enough fire power to go around that I'm pretty sure we don't have to ration who gets the biotics. I also have Del," the combat drone beeped to announce it's presence, "who, while not packing quite the firepower Shithead is, can split into three with mini gatling guns too lay down lovely cover fire. Perfect for helping hold a bottleneck. Tanya, Shithead, Del, and I can take care of that. With Tonka on overwatch we should be able to keep anyone from escaping. I can even send a drone with Tonka to make sure he doesn't get into too much trouble." She smiled. "Before we do all that though, I think we need to get our supplies. I'll be with Tanya since I too know what the fuck a wrench is. Vellios, when he's not killing people, is surprisingly charming and I suggest him for anything that requires bartering, like getting more contracts."
