Lafayette Station, The Doctor's Order

Serena scowled as she heard Vellios flirting with Firu, instantly disliking it, before confusion washed over her. Why the hell do I care? It's not like I should be interested in her. Vellios can flirt with whoever he damn well pleases. Despite that flawless logic, she remained irritated, scowling at her omni-tool and muttering. "Damn Eclipse." It was a fairly poor attempt at hiding that she was irritated at anything other than the fire walls of Eclipse, but it was the best she had. She continued quietly hacking the LOKI's as the rest of their crew, that could, filled into the shop and took their various places. She waited for someone more qualified to answer Drono's question (after all, she was just the tech person who was supposed to provide fire support when things are at their worst), typing away.

One eyebrow raised as Hazan began to outline his plan. By the end of it both eyebrows were raised. She was staring at the map and markings on it, concerned. The plan was a good one, if they were a security firm with no bigger problems than 'get the target to the site as inconspicuously as possible'. They weren't. That many of us moving in any form of organization in the same direction is going to turn some heads. Especially with Tonka. Not to mention, I'm not particularly good at keeping a game face. Fortunately, Tanya and Tonka spoke up with her concerns before she had too. She added her two cents, quietly, as she continued to tap away at her omni-tool.

"I agree with them. As soon as Eclipse notices something wrong they're going to purge their whole system and I'll be able to do absolutely nothing to stop them. The only reason I've gotten as far as I have is because I'm scurrying like a roach in the shadows, hoping they don't shine a light at me. If we put Balto in a mask and some suitably covering quarantine clothing, slap some doctor clothing on our resident medic, have her act harried and in a hurry, and have Tonka with her and look scary to clear a path, we should be able to get him to the clinic quickly." She sucked in her top lip as she cracked into another LOKI cluster.

"Two stay close enough to fast response if things go to hell and they need help fighting their way out, but the rest either spread out to cause trouble at areas Eclipse deems more important, if necessary, while the three of us in the systems, stay doing what we're doing to make trouble with their fancy electronics if we need to."
Right I'll get that set up in a bit need a little bit of info from Xoddy
@Themerlinhawk Hey, it's like a cat watching a dog. It might not move to attack, but it's better to be prepared in the event.

I'm not sure what to make of that analogy.

But I've posted.
Street Side- The Narrows

Miriam

Day 1, Afternoon

Miriam leaned against the wall, armor and sword hidden by an illusion of civilian clothes, keeping an eye on the streets around them with her magic, staring down from a considerable height. She had already sent Vulture and Arson to cover the entrance to the alley, with Megelis on the roof, while Dragon and Crow each worked on their respective tasks. She idly twitched her head to follow Arson as she went after the rat. "Acknowledged." She said, watching as the hybrid made her way over to rat. She wanted to be ready in case Kirane needed help. While not at her full strength, she was still a considerable asset, one that Miriam wasn't about to get rid of simply because she had a condition to deal with. They'd plan accordingly around it.

She nodded in Crow's direction, taking a few steps in the other direction as he informed them that he was about to open the Veil. Leaving her bird's eye view, she returned to her body and gave the video clip Markus had saved. Her eyes narrowed as she saw that there were members of the Blades there. Odd. They didn't normally involve themselves in gang matters, not unless the gang was becoming strong enough to be a threat. Which was doubtful of ever happening here, not without the Tower having informed them already of it. Still, it couldn't hurt to check. "Dragon, see if there's been a reported increase in Gang violence around this area and the biggest gangs in it."

She started moving towards where Kirane was, occasionally glancing back to keep an eye on Crow. "What do you think the odds are she wasn't here by accident?"

Althalus

Althalus quickly and easily caught the daggers, tucking all but two into hidden sheathes. "You never know, I'm guessing you've never held properly forged knives." He danced out of the way of his own Uth, smiling and listening. He had no idea how to murder these things, but Darrel did. His smile dropped as first Darrel got hit towards the abyss, and then the new one with the sword began screaming as he was gnawed upon. "Gods damn it. These were my good knives." He sighed, dodging his own Uth yet again. "She's gonna be pissed." Taking a deep breath, and glancing regretfully at the two knives in his hands, Althalus focused his magic. Rust began to creep quickly along them, pitting the blades and filling them with rot as the assassin filled his blades with the power of decay. He threw one at the monster gnawing on Drake's leg, the dagger flashing through the air before sinking hilt deep into the side of the Uth. The creature screamed and fell on the ground, writhing, as the decay magic began to spread to it.

"That's one." He turned his attention to the one Helena had wounded, it shrieking and hissing as the fireballs struck it. His other dagger whistled through the air, striking it in the chest. It shrieked as well, leaping backwards. Althalus darted out of the way of his Uth again, drawing another dagger. "Colette! Go get Darrel. We'll keep them off of you." He waved his dagger at the Uth, the thing approaching him. "You don't want to end up like your friends do you? Why don't we just all play nice, and you leave and I leave, hmm?" It ignored him, leaping forward again.

Sansar, Yarosmere. Aramir.

As the guard aimed his bow at the crowd in the distance, he glanced between Darius and the slowly approaching group. For a few tense seconds, it seemed like he would fire anyway. Then, scowling, he brought his crossbow down and unloaded it. As the group approached and individual members were able to be picked out, Aramir breathed a sigh of relief. It was their friends. Friends who looked like they had been beaten up, but alive none the less. "Open the gate. It's the rest of our group." The guard looked at her skeptically, but then glanced at Darius again and shouted the order. The gates creaked open, and the rest of the College students limped in, sporting various injuries.

The soldiers began to take them to the infirmary, but Aramir waved them off. "We can take care of our own." The soldiers hesitated, then shrugged. They had tried. They couldn't force the visitors to take care of themselves.

Walking away to an empty part of the courtyard, the students taken by the rebels were examined and had the worst of their wounds patched as they explained what had happened to them and the situation with the Resistance. Aramir whistled quietly. "That's certainly food for thought." She jumped as Yolin's voice rang across the courtyard. "Friends! I'm so glad that you're alive, but absolutely disgusted that the Resistance would disgrace us by treating you in such away. You have my word that we will find and destroy them. There will be nothing left of those cowardly fools but ash and blood by the time we are done." He clapped his hands together. "Enough of that though! The King is ready, as is dinner. You will be given a few minutes to freshen up, and then begin to eat!"

Fifteen minutes later, the college students were seated at a large table, the King closest to them at their right, the rest of his court farther down to their left. A veritable feast laid out before them, steaming meats and soups, spices, vases of drinks. It seemed that there was no expense spared for their arrival. The King, Prophet of the Sand God, looked at them with calculating eyes. "I imagine the College has questions about my reign."

I hope you brought that up with the people involved.

I did, but it was also a while ago, so I wouldn't be surprised if I was the only one who remembered. If they don't want that to happen anymore I'll just wave a hand, erase it from history, and Vestec will get an arena from somewhere else.
So, everyone, about the Xerxes fight.

-Demons and Realta might have gotten involved??? At some point? Maybe?? idk??? Go ask Rtron. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

To be specific!

-Vestec appears, makes some long spheeel about an arena (think LADIES AND GENTLEMANNNNNN type thing)

-Teleports Xerxes (Status effects, all forces, and everything else) into the Realm of Madness. Declares it 'The Arena'. (-10 might to make the Holy Site 'The Arena')

-A giant half hourglass (with boulders instead of sand and an open bottom) appears above the ruined city of Xerxes and all it's combatants. Next to it are two numbers one red and one blue that respectively represent Xerxes and Lif and allies numbers. Vestec declares that the first side to eliminate all the other side wins. Also that when the giant hour glass empties, his shield will leave and the denizens of the Realm of Madness will have free reign. He declares the fight to begin. Everyone presumably begins to throw down, giant boulders from the half-hourglass begin to fall, and demons begin to gather at the edges of the shield. They soon reach numbers many time the size of Liffy and allies numbers.

-Right as the shield falls, Liffy engages Amartia in mortal combat.

-Before the Demons can overwhelm everyone through sheer numbers, Amartia is slain and Vestec teleports everyone out of Xerxes (and thus the Realm of Madness) and lets them do their own thing.
Ill post tonight. Was with friends the last couple of days.
