I just finished The Secret History, a very Gen X book. Never Let Me Go before that, which I'd recommend to any writer outside the MFA atmosphere who wants to know emotonal restraint.

Hello! I am very new to RPing. I am not online a lot but I will reply when I can. I hope you guys can be nice to me when we role play. I am not a good role player so please bear with my very noob writings. Thank you :)
Roleplaying is nothing but writing an interactive story with one (or many more) other players. You follow the same basic rules of any creative writing: dialogue, narrative, a balance between descriptive and not TOO descriptive, etc, etc.
The best news? NO ONE will judge you for being new to RP here! Just hop into Free, do some reading, and when you're comfortable throw your proverbial hat into an accepting RP.
In the meantime, it might be worth your while to read the RPGuild Welcome Package the Guild Mods account PMed you.
And of course: welcome to the Guild!!
