The Boys: Nocturn

Looking for someone who wants to write an OC for a story about a team of young super-powered individuals who get thrown into a maelstrom of deceit, violence, and desperation set in the universe of The Boys.

Centered on a "lower" team (read: any not The Seven) in development by Vought and their first, and last, official mission as an active superhero team. The fallout will either consume them or set them free to bring ruin down on those that started it all so very long ago.

Pairings don't much matter to me, and God knows a universe like that of The Boys makes almost anything possible.

Because of that universe odds are there will be some twisted and adult things going on IC, even if not between our characters. Depends on us, as does much of the story. I have a basic framework but remain reluctant to fill much of it in until I find the right partner.

Need to do something while isolated

As the title of this thread states, I really needed to do something with my time while doing the whole staying at home thing. As I had been meaning to get back into online roleplaying for a while, when better to do it than now. Anyways, hope to have some fun here while the world outside is not so fun.

I just discovered roleplaying, though I've heard of it before. Normally I write by myself, just fictional stuff, or for D&D, but with the forced lack of interaction with people I find myself looking for new ways to find that personal contact and here I am! This sounds like something I could really get into, since I write almost daily, but I'm sure there will be some learning to do. I wonder if anyone has written about roleplaying as a discourse community? If someone knows I'd love to read that paper, just shoot me a link in PM or here.

Anyway, I can't wait to get started.

Greetings everyone!

I already said hi on the Discord server and was met with quite the warm welcome, so some might already have seen me around. I've been involved in some pbp-RPGs almost a decade ago, and I intend to do so again now. I'm exclusively interested in diceless group RPGs with a custom fantasy setting (Although there are some select fandoms I could give a spin too, I suppose), and nothing else. Also I'm a package deal, my gf will sign up in a few days (likely tomorrow) and we'll annoy everyone in any RPG we join. (hopefully not)
