Awful Midnight Poetry - Set in the world of Epithet Erased!

I don't know how many PMs TruthHurts is actually sorting through, but considering I've slowly been going back and forth with them over PMs for almost a week, I figure it's high time I announce my presence, bumping the thread in the process because it really deserves it and saying hi to anyone else out there lurking silently. Happy new years and all that.

Personality: Bubbly and playful, she does her best to have an open mind and can exercise practiced charm under any circumstances. That being said, she is unyielding when it comes to her passions, strict on herself and on her pokemon. She considers herself a self-centered person, in that she evaluates courses of action based on her own benefit, but that doesn’t stop her from being kind to people simply for the satisfaction. Loves attention.

Biography: Estelle is a young international celebrity known primarily for her talents in singing, but also for dancing, modeling, and even a little bit of acting. She loves the Pokemon she picked up along the way as pets, but she had no interest in training them for battle or competition before seeing the colorful mane of a galarian Ponyta with her own eyes. Where her interest was a spark, going out and seeing talented coordinators and battlers in action fueled the flames, and the timing of the international league couldn’t be better. She decided to take some time off to pay the Chromis region a visit. Although she is a novice trainer and coordinator, she is determined to leave her mark on the Chromis league.

Personality: A man of few words. For the most part he's so quiet as to be easily mistaken for mute. He isn't exactly quick to clarify either, which is why he tends to surprise people when suddenly speaking up, only to go back to silence once the spotlight is on him. Carries a rapier on him at often as he carries pokemon on him, supposedly to be used as a conductor's baton. There are rumors, however, that he physically assaults the pokemon of his challengers. Always has a Chatot perched on his shoulder.

Biography: The gym leader of a far-off region. His gym is a theater stage, on which he and his pokemon regularly perform. He's trained all of his pokemon to be talented musicians.

There's loads of options for complex like signature moves and combining moves to make new moves

I'm under the impression that the moveset would look like Aqua Jet/Ice Beam/Scratch/Tackle.
I have to ask to make sure; do you mean that the moveset would look like Aqua Jet/Ice Beam/Ice Missile/Tackle? (And Ice Missile's component parts Aqua Jet and Ice Beam could be forgotten, like a Pikachu knowing Volt Tackle but not Quick Attack/Thunderbolt)

There are no held items, but there are still special items like evolution stones. For Simple format though you can use held items if you'd like, but for complex, the focus is all on roleplaying.

By the way, it just occurred to me that Charizard has two mega evolutions, so why not allow multiple different custom mega evolutions?

Few more quick questions:
Are you allowed to start with any non-legendary pokemon? Are there restrictions on their stage of evolution or bst?
Are held items still a thing, and if so, how are they obtained?
How difficult is it to obtain Alolan and Galarian forms in Chromis? Ultra Beasts?

Hi, I have tentative interest in this, though I'm not sure what kind of character I'd play as. A few questions:
-Is there/can there be any point to accumulating wealth under this system, or is money considered unimportant?
-Can gym challenges or contests be conducted under double battle format, or is it strictly single-battle?
-What about moveset limitations? Will anime logic apply and >4 moves be allowed in complex battles?
-Can some liberties be taken with learnsets, particularly with training, or are we strictly restricted to their in-game learnsets?
