Man, MGS3 Ocelot's gun-spinning noise is bizarrely pleasant. Damn near ASMR fodder.

New Akuma actually looks kinda cool moveset-wise. Now I have to hope in my heart of hearts that Makoto or someone more interesting gets in.

[@Shoryu] I'll concede XvSF and Marvel 1, but the 3v3 format is iconic now. That's not to say I disagree that MvC is typically a mess. Shout outs to "ZOOP ZOOP" Zero.

[@Mr Allen J] The whole situation with the different Marvel properties is a goddamn mess. New MAHVEL being 2v2's already got me worried about the roster.

Good to hear that everything got sorted out, man!
Samehana

Black Shark

Loguetown, East Blue
@j8cob @Ira @Hillan

Samehana couldn’t help but roll her eyes. ”That’s kind of a huge logical leap, isn’t it? I’m just trying to watch the show~.” Samehana chirped, pretending to pout for a moment. She decided to ignore the comments about her being a potential stalker, though she came dangerously close to bursting into laughter. Trying to convince this guy that she wasn’t a pirate looked like it was about to be a lost cause at the rate things were going. Not like it’d matter much at the end of the day. Though, there was something to be said about how quickly the man decided to reach for the seastone cuffs he had at his side.

”Bringing out handcuffs already? And to think we haven’t even had our first date yet~.” the Fishwoman joked, placing her hands on her hips. It was almost cute how naive this Marine appeared to be. As if she was just gonna let this guy slap a pair of cuffs on her and call it a day. Not just because that’d bevan annoying, albeit entirely fixable, situation. But on principle of the fact that she really hadn’t done anything wrong but “spying”, if she let Mr. Quicktocuff tell it.

”I don’t suppose there’s any way to convince you that this’ll end any way but terribly for you, hm?” she inquired, tilting her head to the side slightly. If this was going to be a fight, she was more than ready. The atmosphere in this town was perfect for it now.

Unfortunately, just as things looked like they were about to get fun, a familiar whistle rang out to the Fishwoman. Church. Samehana let out a sigh of disappointment as she looked down at her cowboy companion. ”Tsk. And we were just getting to the good part…. Alright, I’m coming!” she shouted back before turning to the Marine.
”I guess that’s my cue to get out of here~. Maybe another time, Cuffguy.” she remarked before leaping backwards towards Church with a buttfirst dive, curious as to whether or not he was going to try and dodge or catch her, not as if she needed the latter.
”Same Same Bun Press!” she called out jokingly as she flew posterior-first towards her compatriots.

Zepp Kisaragi ?

Conomi Island, East Blue
@Hillan @Pacifista @NachoBachoPacho

Zepp watched calmly as the masked pirate fixed himself up. Apparently, Anaru had managed to inflict a devastating amount of damage to Mr. Boom’s arm. While his expression remained unchanging, along with his position atop the cannonball, his eyebrows raised a bit as flames and electricity began to emanate from the boy. Slowly, one of his eyes was beginning to open, revealing an iris of vibrant crimson. Zepp raised a hand lazily, though the fingers on said hand were in an interesting position. His thumb was holding down his middle finger in a way that suggested Zepp was going to flick something at the forehead of the human light show in front of him and Johnny. And, although the breathable air was beginning to become sparce in the surrounding area, Zepp seemed unaffected, peculiarly enough. Just before he was about to let his finger go, however, something caught his attention, giving the explosive pirate a chance to escape.

Zepp shrugged as he watched him arc up onto the ship, once again back to looking like he was asleep. ”Tabaku-dono. If you would be so kind as to give our comrade Anaru-dono a hand. It appears we’ve stumbled into a bit of a political conundrum.” Zepp requested politely, tone shifting rather drastically from the one he normally used. Zepp made sure that only Johnny was able to hear him. And Johnny knew fully what the deal was with Zepp at the moment.

Like a punctuation mark on the end of Zepp’s request, the terrain around the Marines was blasted to bits, sending chunks of debris skyborne, only for it to come back down on them. Sighing, Zepp stood up from his seat on the cannonball and began casually sidestepping the fallen debris.
@LokiLeo789
"Johnny" and "Zepp" probably aren't gonna try and do any more obviously crazy shit, but you're probably right. Xerxes certainly ain't in a great spot.
@Ira
Let's all hope that this ship sails for a long time, then.
I'm sure everyone would like to see some payoff for their mental investment.

"If you two can come up with any way to make the ship go a bit faster then go for it."

Freya had asked, as Johnny scoffed, looking over at Zepp. "You know, I actually quite like the cannonball Idea. We've done something like that a couple of times before. I'll be able to deal with large crowds, we'll go scope out the port, deal with any pirates we find. Buy you lot enough time to make it to the Island, before the whole place goes to shit." The Ensign spoke, showing that behind his goofy attitude, he still had some brains.

Turning to Zepp, he grinned. "You wanna go bomb some pirates?" Turning to the crew. "Target the cannon, we'll go in on the dock where you'll be landing." Johnny spoke to the Seaman Marine, whom nodded, positioning the cannon.

That's when the Den-Den Mushi rang, and it was a panicked member of Anaru's ship. Loud explosions could be heard, shouting about them being under attack and needing emmidiate backup. "I suppose we had better hurry, then." Johnny mentioned. "Change the direction of the cannon to Anaru's ship."

Hearing the commotion on the other end of the Den Den Mushi, Zepp shook his head and met up with the marine placed in charge of loading the cannonball, quickly touching the surface of the black sphere. In a split second, Zepp's body melded onto the cannonball, leaving no trace behind. If it weren't for the fact that the ball itself was black, one would have seen a shadow along its curvature in Zepp's shape. Once a few seconds had passed, Zepp's hand reached out of the ball, giving an "OK" sign to Johnny and the cannon's operator.

They'd have to get this over with quickly, since it was pretty clear that whoever the person was causing the destruction wasn't one to be trifled with. At the very least, they gave the Gorilla trouble, simple-minded as he was. Withdrawing his arm into the cannonball, Zepp waited for the next phase of this unorthodox joint assault.

Johnny grinned as Zepp attached to the cannon ball, he himself smiled at Freya. "We'll be back in a bit." He mentioned, signaling at the cannon operator to fire, and as the operator did, Johnny turned into his smoke form, and a white hand grabbed onto the ball soaring through the sky, letting it drag him with it, as he in his smoke form weighed next to nothing.

Soaring out of eyesight of the marine vessel within seconds, the two riding atop of the canon ball approached the dock, they were going to land several hundred meters away from Anaru's ship - that now lit up in a gigantic explosion. In the water to boot. Obviously, that would be pretty terrible for the two Devil Fruit users.

In fact, it would be the worst.

Johnny moved quickly, staying in his smoke form, he grasped the canon ball Zepp was on, and used the Geppo technique to gain altitude, and the Soru technique to gain momentum. The smoke covering his actions, nobody would really notice that the cannon ball changed altittude, as they were otherwise occupied.

The cannon ball was aimed at the man in the mask, the one fighting Anaru, but Anaru's attack sent the two of them out of the hit-range, the cannon ball hitting in between the two, Johnny emerging from the explosion in a cloud of thick, white smoke, a lit cigarette between his fingers, coughing as he inhaled the smoke from his tobacco stick.

"Sup." Johnny spoke, calmly, looking at Anaru, and then at the criminal in the mask. "Nice mask. You do realize that demolishing a Marine vessel is a crime met with execution, right? Life in prison, if you have a lawyer. Unless you're a pirate, I mean, then you wouldn't get one." He spoke, softly, looking to the side. A squad of marines fighting valiantly as some sort of Dragon-dinosaur beast-thing. Turning his head towars the Silverback Marine. "You okay there.. Sir?" He said, a hint of sarcasm in his words.

"All right, Sparky Boom-Boom Man, you wanna tango?" Johnny said taking a battle stance, his legs widely apart, kind of like a spaghetti-westen look, the cigarette in his lip, him reaching for the pistols he carried on his waist.

And they thought patroling the East Blue would be calmer than the Grandline.

Shortly after Johnny materialised, Zepp's form appeared back in three-dimensional space in a sitting position atop the cannonball. "Y'know, Baldy, these things cost taxpayer money." he remarked, adding on to Johnny's comment on the criminal aspect of the explosive man's actions. Frankly, Zepp didn't much care about that sort of thing, but he might as well lay the guilt on thick. Then again, the pirates in question probably didn't much care.

"So, you think you're about ready to take a nap in a nice prison bed, or do me and my friend here gotta sing you a lullaby?" Zepp remarked, smug expression never fading from his face. However, despite how lackadaisical his words sounded, there was a wave of what almost felt like killing intent dripping from them.

"They better not die en-route. The paperwork for that would not be pretty."

Turning back to her lounging spot, Freya snatched her justice coat off its hook, throwing it over her shoulders before grabbing her sword, which had been propped against the chair. Affixing it to her hip, she made her way back to the edge of the upper deck, watching as the Conomi Islands grew steadily closer.

Waiting for my boy Anaru to somehow pull through after that last attack. I'm tryna see how Rock Solid his justice really is.
I think it's mostly just how well Life Return fits into the Torikoverse and a combination of Anaru being a beast of a man. Plus, "Nails".

Samehana

Black Shark

East Blue, Loguetown

Just as Samehana was beginning to really get settled in, she was met with the appearance of a man who landed upon the rooftop on which she sat. Noticing the man to be a Marine, she sighed and stood up to her full height, stretching for a moment before finally crossing her arms under her chest. Giving him a quick glance over, she noticed she was a few inches taller than him. Not to mention that he had an almost youthful appearance. A playful smirk crossed the Fishwoman’s lips as she observed the man, taking in his posture. ”You might want to work on your pickup lines, but I can’t say that I don’t appreciate the compliment~.” she teased, winking at him. Frankly, it was already pretty clear that he wasn't exactly there to try and ask her on a date, but a little banter never hurt, right?

”Mind if I ask why you came to see a lil’ ol’ girl like me? I’m sure you’ve got more important things to do than try picking up girls, sweetie." she remarked, nodding her head over to the scene below. Had someone put up a bounty on her or something? Unless the Navy wasn’t big on spectators, of course.
@RyoRyoRyoken I'll have to discuss this with Ira but I like the idea of it. It seems like a good plan of action.

I figured we'd cross that bridge when the time came. But its good to see that our members have similar mindsets as us.

Good to hear that I wasn't just spewing crazy talk.

On a separate note, looks like we've got a pretty interesting battle going on. Anaru's moveset kinda makes me think of Toriko, so I can dig it.
@Renny @Ira
So, I was mulling this over and I was wondering what your thoughts on it were.
Is there a chance that the RP could re-open in the future? Presumably after we're a decent ways into the story where we have current cast relationships (rivalries, alliances, etc.) all sorted out. Part of the fun of One Piece (at least for me) is seeing new colorful people pop up over the course of the adventure. It'd give the crews a chance to fill out their rosters and add some new perspectives at the very least. And it'd make it so Bellamy won't almost be forced to join a crew if he wants to have consistent player-to-player interaction. Plus, it'd make it so you guys don't have to stretch yourselves too thin with NPCs.
I could see it being a GM headache, though, so I'd understand if there were no plans for that happening. Just figured I'd offer my thoughts.
