The blonde farmer struggled in vain to get free and in his panic failed to notice Runa at first. Not till she stepped over and spoke which had him jumping in shock." Ah! Are you part of this?! You can't go forcing others against their will!" Flailing his accusing finger at the unknown girl then shot a glare up at the dog eared stranger. Opening his mouth; cut off by the announcer declaring that those remaining and in teams have passed and to his displeasure saw yet again a glow forming around the three of them.

" No no NO! Not again!" Squirming anew in the hopes of escaping whatever was transporting them but as expected failed to do so. Frantically looking around at the field with panicked eyes, trying to figure out what he should but couldn't think of anything to save him though by instinct or fear one thing popped into his head." Gah! So unfair!...Invisible!" He shouted out moments before they were transported causing his gloves to go invisible as he had a feeling it was best to keep them hidden.

After the unpleasant sensation of transporting ended, he found himself crouching behind the chairs of the two. Hearing them talk about him in such a rude manner as if he wasn't there and would of told them it was their fault for dragging him along, but being in a room full of strong looking individuals kept him from doing so. * Tch..damn bastards talking about me as I'm useless. You're the ones who forced me into your team...just you wait, I'll make both of you regret toying with me..I'll get all three of us disqualified.* He thought to himself while wringing his gloved hands; laughing in his head at making them and that blasted Headon pay for tearing him away from his simple and easygoing farm life. So go ahead and enjoy the break cause by the end of it the three of them would be heading back as he was determined to be done with all of this.

Menzai Isanami

For the time being he kept quiet, standing to the side waiting as three more would arrive to join the decently sized gathering. The first being a human male who gave off a rather uncomfortable magical sensation that likely indicated the use of dark magic and sensing it sent an unsettling shiver down his back. Use of dark magic was mostly frowned upon where he was from but the person seemed harmless enough though the lingering faint scent of blood soon had his nose crinkling in distaste. A turn of the head to see the heavily armored elf, who strangely enough did not introduce herself vocally but via a card she handed to the guild leader. Unlike the elf dressed in a somewhat overtly manner's strong magical presence the elf knight had little magic, even less than the guild master which was surprising though by the smell of blood lingering even on the clean armor being a good indicator that this one was a more physical fighter which was certainly rare in elven cases.

Another slight crinkle of his nose; adjusting to the smell, when another human arrived, whose size might cause others to mistake for an orc. yet, had the uncouth and rude mannerism of a brute with an ridiculously and obnoxiously large weapon to match. It irked him how humans saw him as some animal when a person such as this acted more like an uncivilized brute and the lack of treatment to the newly formed guild hall an example of such as not even a minute passing that he caused damage to the floor. A disapproving shake of the head as Menzai shifted his right arm to point at the cracked spot." A person of such size should take heed to be more careful. It is quite rude to go treating this establishment as your personal weapon rack." He admonished the large human in a cooly calm tone then dusted off his left sleeve before slipping the back arm." And I suggest using his cut from missions to pay for such damages as seems fair." He stated towards the guild leader before gliding his way over the mage making the cloaks.

A small frown formed at the thought of having to wear a cloak; especially one inferior to his haori but could hardly blame the mage. As his haori was made of special and rare materials not easily gained nor the technique of his tribe but seeing the elf mage gaining a shoulder cape and decided for something small." Menzai Isanami, mage. A short cape of shoulder length made of simple fabric please." Addressing the maker; minutes later accepting the newly formed cape with a slight bow of the head." I offer my thanks." With a rustling flick, he slipped the guild cape on then stepped back to where he previously stood to wait for this meeting to progress.
Menzai Isanami

Weeks of traveling eventually lead Menzai to the town of Thaoswen; an arduous and tedious journey for the lone beastkin but there he stood at the entrance of the town. Sharp dark blue eyes glinting with tiny crimson red glares peered into the bustling town with a stern and curious gaze as he stood at the gates, his demeanor calm yet somewhat cautious for one of his kind had to be wary, especially when among humans.

In his travels, he came to see countless and experience all sorts of new sights encounters though not all of them good. For most of the human establishments did not take well to his presence as he was warned numerous times to avoid humans if possible. As expected, they proved themselves dangerous with their unwarranted hate or fear of those they do not understand or were quick to show their prejudice and greedy nature. Not that all humans were like this for where there was those that insulted and told him off, showing they wanted nothing to do with him. Others that were friendly and welcoming towards beastkin; proving it possibly to make friends among humans but he must see them as a threat until proven to be trustworthy.

And it was through the kindness of such strangers that he learned about the town of Thaoswen and of the newly built guild hall. And it was the guild that brought Menzai here in order to begin his mission. One that he was both excited yet worried with his desire to study and learn of other races and magic while keeping a reserved caution when humans were involved.

With a slow exhale, the young wolf adult ventured into the town, walking with a reserved pace to his step. He walked along with bare feet that nary made a sound though not quite as graceful and silent as elves but most would not notice his presence until seen or he spoke. Even the white robed haori he adorned barely shifted and rustled, showing how little and precise his movement were while his arms were hidden within the baggy sleeves where the few belongings he had were kept hidden.

One might of mistaken him for a monk or a priest had it not been for the canine ears flicking gently atop his head. These ears were the source of drawing attention; both good and bad which even now he received from the villagers he passed by.

His attempts to gain in details on the guild's location as expected had been somewhat difficult. With those he tried inquiring to ignoring or shouting him away and even passed by some parents ushering their children inside to avoid him. Expecting and being used to such treatment, though so it did not bother him as he simply carried on and continued asking regarding the guild's location.

It took longer than it should of, but Menzai eventually received the location after finally meeting a friendly villager and thus set off towards the guild.

He trekked his way quietly towards the guild's hall, where with a quick glance over could indeed see that the hall had been very recently built. This had him somewhat worried for a newly built guild meant little funds and experience and most concerning that it might attract members unfriendly towards beastkin. If that were the case, he would simply have to move on and seek out another establishment though hoped that wouldn't be the case. After a small dismissive shake of the head, he stepped towards the heavyset doors though even before he reached them had his ears flick to the sound of numerous voices from within.

A few sniffs of the nose was all that was needed; noticing the surprisingly varied scents of multiple races within with the fact it didn't consist solely of humans had him relieved. A small rustling of his right arm pulling from the sleeve, his clawed right hand gave hard push against the door, ears catching the lack of wooden creaking further proof of the building's freshness.

Gazing within to see a pleasing sight of such a varied cast consisting of an orc, a few elves and even a dwarf though most surprising was the centaur. In fact, this was his first seeing an orc and especially a centaur who weren't considered common to outside their territory. A curious glint in his eyes as he peered over the other possible members though maintained a calm and near blank expression.

A slip of the right arm back into the haori sleeve, Menzai then stepped quietly into the hall and stopped a short distance from the others, preferring to keep his space from strangers. After another curious glance over the place, did he give a slight bow of his head." Good tidings. The name is Menzai Isanami and I have come to inquire regarding this guild if there any such openings still." He spoke in a soft and formal tone while keeping his body in a slight guarded posture and ears perked, listening for in case any attempted to make an suspicious move or attack.
Ok, changed that they aren't born with the magic but since they're a tribe that already learn and study magic which allows them to learn magic really well and mostly just get one or two magic they specialize in since they can't do it naturally to do a broad range.

Just a few more minutes then this would be all over. He will be disqualified and back at the farm shortly. Already the farmer curled up beneath his gloves fantasized relaxing under his favorite tree eating pudding with a good book in his lap with all his worries of the tower behind him. An almost manic little laugh left his lips at the thought.

Then the crunch of footsteps pulled the farmer from his delusions and by the sounds of it they were drawing closer. This realization had his eyes bulging and lips puckering into his face as if having just eaten something incredibly sour.* No! Nononoononono..go away...please go away!* Screaming in his head for whoever lurked outside to go away or walk by him, anything just don't notice him.

Yet, the footsteps continued drawing near; sweating bullets and trembling as he hugged his legs to him more.* Are they gonna kill me? No..no they said the test was over..oh god! What if they force me to join their team?!* Panting and gasping as if on the verge of a panic attack, the blonde scrambling to work out a plan to get himself out of this situation with his first thought to run but quickly discarded that, shaking his head while cursing his shit endurance. Maybe they will notice what a complete weakling he was and ignore him? Yeah, No sane fighter or warrior would possibly want a nobody loser like him on their time right?

Patting his closed left fist against his right palm at that logic, figuring they would move on and nodded to himself trying to believe that will happen.

Letting out a low sigh of relief and shaky chuckle." Y-yeah....I should fine...." A hope quickly dashed by the hand slipping beneath the gloves to grip the back hem of his overalls though they might as well been the cold empty hand of death coiling around his neck preparing to snuff out his life.

Without any trouble, Kazu found himself being pulled from hiding to find himself held up and dangling in the clutches of some guy. A mere glance at this 19 year old blonde could tell any that he certainly was beyond weak with slightly less than average build lacking defined muscles even for one like him who had been working on a farm all his life and yet his body seemed unable to bulk up. He had nothing but the dirt stained overalls on his back, a simple gardening hoe and two huge armored gloves floating nearby.

" Huh..what?! Are you out of your mind? I refuse!" He rebuked in a panic while struggling against the unknown stranger's grip and turned his fear stricken face up, ready to continue his straight up refusal to join the team when his eyes caught sight of those dog ears causing his eyes to nearly shoot out of their sockets at the sight of them." Gaaaah! YOu have dog ears!? What the hell? Help! Some dog eared beast is kidnapping me!!" Thrashing like an animal fearing for its life; struggling wildly to get free or if anything to get away from this dog eared freak. A bout of struggling that ended quickly as it started as it had him panting and wheezing as if he just ran a marathon and was left weakly waving his arms while coughing and gasping.

" Whyyyyyyyyyyyy?! I never even got to eat my last pudding cup!"
Tears streaming from his dejected face as the gloves floating nearby had imitated every motion of his own hands which could of been used to possibly free himself had Kazu actually had any battle sense and not in a pure panic state.

Unsure of how long he had been enveloped in this warm light but during that time he felt at ease as if all his worries were being washed away. It was all over now; he was going home and could put everything that just happened behind him as the simple plain farmland awaited him. A blissful smile adorned his face and arms out as if to embrace what awaited him while angelic music played its gentle melody in his head....

Abruptly that blissful sensation scratched to a halt as the glow ceased and his body crumpled to the ground, having receiving a harsh blow from reality.

quickly sitting up and shooting his head around to find himself in a field of tall grass, the area seeming to be like a huge savannah. A blank expression on his face; lost glazed eyes blinking upon remembering what happened last to him as he hugged the garden hoe to his right side and the gloves floating above casting shadows down on him." Gah! Headon you cheater! That damn guardian goaded me!" Spouting out his distaste of the guardian while tossing a rock off into the field of grass then sat there panting, face slick with face.

It was then at that moment a booming voice spoke out and echoed over the entire area of the floor. " All contestants welcome to the second floor Evankills hell!, The first test will be beginning right now, there are four hundred people on this floor, thin it and it to two hundred. "

Seconds after the announcment, his low grade pocket became visible to indicate the number 400 on it. " U-uh..that person isn't serious, right?" He asked worriedly to no one in particular while turning his head around before falling back on the pocket and found to his dismay the number quickly rolling down causing him to let out scream as his eyes nearly bulged out at his pocket." Wait a minute..how exactly are we to thin it?" Laughing weakly to himself as his mouth twitched.

As if to answer his foolish question; screams and cries of pain rang out all over from unseen locations off in the distance though some were closer than he was comfortable with. And the air quickly grew heavy with the stench of blood and death which had him quivering while hugging his hoe tightly.

* Oh god....am I gonna die? I don't want to die!* His mind scrambled to make sense of what was happening and he certainly had no desired to kill. Hell, the closest he got to doing such was squishing a spider with his shoe that his little sister was crying over in the barn.

A rustling from within the grass then came from the tall grass to his right causing him to tense as his head slowly and shakily turned to its direction. Just as it seemed like something was gonna pop out, Kazu jumped onto his feet and fled in panic with his arms flailing." I don't wanna die!!!" Crying out as he ran through the field in the direction away from all the commotion.

After running for a few minutes, he came to a stop though he would of preferred to keep running but his stupid body really did have pitiful stamina. He was already panting and heaving heavily while bent over; heaving like a person doing a death rattle as a look of desperation painted his face.

Once catching his breath, Kazu frantically looked around to make sure no one was around and thankfully it was just him. Finding himself still in the field though near some trees." Ok ok ok ok..I'm safe..yes I'm safe.." Laughing while touching himself to inspect for injuries and found none and let out a relieved sigh, one short lived upon noticing the fast dwindling number on his pocket. * Ugh, I want nothing to do with this whole thing.* Thinking this while rubbing at his head and with his head lowered, where he noticed the shadows of his floating gloves and lifted his head with an idea popping to mind like a light bulb turning on.

Kazu let out a long exhale as he sat curled beneath his gloves wrapped around him like a makeshift tent. Arms wrapped around his legs as they were hugged against his chest, his cheeks puffed." I should be safe here and besides..this is a nice comfy place to rest. If only I had my book." Sighing while resting his head against his knees.

Unsure of how much time passed before the voice boomed out again with a second announcement. " All right regulars the herd has been thinned next test is to team up! But he careful you only have five minutes to team up and they must be teams of threes!. "

Lifting his head up; hope finally returning to his seemingly dead eyes as a big smile cracked on his lips. " Just five minutes left. Just have to stay here away from everyone and I'll be disqualified and back home." Holding up his closed fist, shedding grateful tears.
